Obavoh:You are very right, they add a lot of protein in their food. That is one of the many things the Northern food lacks. I lived and worked in the far North for some years. During my stay I had a Fulani girlfriend....very nice people, from a wealthy home. Her mother became sick, later died though. I always visited her in the hospital then. She complained bitterly of the many presence of Northerners in the hospital, yet can't find a single Southerner, so she decided to ask one of the Doctors in one of my numerous visits why no Southerner is found here. The Doctor explained that the Southerners eat good foods that helps fight diseases and infections, so they hardly fall sick to the numerous diseases affecting the Northern people. It's simple.
