Please what date was stated on your reference letter as regards your Nysc commencement date, was it the date written on your nysc discharge certificate or the date you started at your place of primary assignment. Thanks
opella:

1) No, I don't have a degree in education. Your degree of study mustn't be the same with your work NOC.
2)I submitted reference letter from the school in CIC format printed on the school's letter headed paper, bank statement showing my alawee and my NYSC discharge certificate.

Good evening, please I need your contribution on a particular issue. Does a full time work experience acquired while on a study permit in a country counts for express entry purpose .kindly bear in mind that my Post graduate program is part time. I know that part time work experience acquired as a student counts as I saw that on CIC page.does it really matter that I don't have a work permit to work full time in the country whilst I know that I don't need a work permit to work per time.
I can get my department to write a letter stating that my program is part time and even support with timetable to show that my classes does not affect the work am doing.kindly advise as I only have 2 years work experience before traveling to start this program.

I also had the same experience at the computer village while I was serving in Lagos, no one even came to my rescue despite the fact that I was wearing my khaki on that day.

1.I re-applied
2.I had about 600k in my account. N. B it was a visit visa and that was last year
3. I waited for 2 months and some weeks
4. I ticked yes,and I stated that I was denied a visit visa. I remember I had issues then whether to tick yes or no,but I remember asking the question here but I already submitted before I got the answer.
cucumbar:
I have a case similar to yours....I think I lodged that funds from my mutual funds investment one week before I applied for the visa.

the second reason was insufficient funds, but I had about 1.4m in the account which would have been more than enough for the trip . It was for a 10 days visit.
Please, I want to find out the following?

1. Did you appeal the decision? Or you just re-applied ?
2. How much balance were you having in the account?
3. How long did you wait before you re-applied?
4. On the form, where they asked if I have been refused entry into South Africa before, would my answer be Yes or No?( does denial of visa=refusal of entry?)

I wanted to appeal but seeing your write up is making me have a re-think(to wait a while and re-apply).

Please, what do you suggest?
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hayohorje: 11:07pm On May 24, 2019
Did you lodge a huge sum of money into your account prior to submission of your application. If so then that suggest the reason why they ticked account not credible. It once happened to me and I had to leave the money in the account for like 2 months before reapplying and I was granted the 2nd time.
lordwilliem:

My brother, this thing looks like scan to me. I was denied based on these two reasons two and I am going for a tuition free program which is stated on my admission letter, I have accommodation already for my first one year with proof submitted, I have paid for health insurance already of which all these were the requirements I submitted with an account balance of 1.5M.

Yet I was denied after almost four months of waiting. I was supposed to resume semester 1 but because of the delay, my supervisor said semester 2 which will begin july. If I reapply as they said within the 10days, how sure it won't spend another 3-4months?

The reference letter from the bank is only applicable and mandatory if you are using a company corporate account. The bank must confirm the signatory to the account. For more info you can check the checklist on Vfs website because this particular information is contained therein.
sirgigs:
Those Guys are just using all forms of baseless excuses to deny Nigerians abeg.
Now take a look at the reasons they gave me. This is the second refusal yet its a official business engagement.

First time they said Unverifiable Invite Letter - We approached our Partners in SA who confirmed nobody called or mail them

So we had to get a revised invited letter and boom another story of no flight detail of arrival and departure ports when every was boldly printed out on the flight booking paper Ooooo.

Also. what is the meaning of No reference letter from the bank confirming signatory - After attaching same bank statement as we did 1st time but with a more recent date duly stamped at the bank with balance of over 700Million naira. I thought they always called the banks or where they just lazy?

Why didn't they tick this as basis of refusal the first time?

Anyway, i am not even interested in their business going forward.

Good evening, please can someone on a study permit travel on a one way ticket... Tho I know travelling on a return ticket is way cheaper than one way. Cuz the cheapest I can get so far is just 2 weeks trip... I just need to utilize the out bound trip. I hope it will not raise any question at the POE.

book the hotel for a period of 1 or 2 weeks and you will state it in your letter of introduction the reason why you have chosen to stay in the hotel... As per you intend to stay in the hotel till you find a suitable accommodation off campus that will suite your academic purpose N.B any other reason that you can think of will be sufficient too

Iqas takes months because as at yesterday when a friend of mine put a call through to them to know if their is any update on his application, he was told that he should exercise more patience because they are still processing mails received last year October
milkytins:
Pls, how long does it take IQAS to complete evaluation?
Or is it still better to do WES with additional money and time to get WAEC result?

Stating that you will be staying in a hotel pending the time you will get an accommodation is acceptable... At least I have read about people who submitted their study visa with hotel booking and they explained in their letter of Introduction that they will only be staying in the hotel just for the period booked till they get a suitable accommodation. I stand to be corrected
Drey143:

Didn't you apply for on campus accommodation? If not,
The Department of student housing in your school is meant to send you an official letter stating that they'll be of assistance to finding you a suitable accommodation prior to your arrival.. That is what my school sent before I was given an on Campus Accommodation..So in short, either the letter or your on campus accommodation is what I think you'd use cos it doesn't sound right to state that you'll be staying in a hotel during your study expect if it's lesser than 3 months
