Most time it's usually pap and bean cake as breakfast and dinner, I have come to love pap a lot, especially with liquid milk but due to the scarcity in my area (sometimes I rarely see it to buy) today after I walked for a long time looking for pap though I later bought two for this night and tomorrow morning, I saw custard on my way back and I bought it.

I prepared the custard this night and it tastes better than the pap but I feel pap could be more nutritious, any ideas of which is better because I feel like throwing away the two pap I bought this night.

Custard is made from cornstarch with the addition of flavour and colour.
Ogi is made from fermented maize.
Custard is basically 100% carb while ogi still has other little nutrients asides carbohydrate although most of the fibre is lost during sieving.
Some people don't sieve after grinding though.
Ogi is healthier.

Really? That's different from what I know. 'Gbodo' is the major variety for making yam flour. The yams are small sized. Don't know if you know that.

I doubt that.... Plantain flour amala is darker than yam flour amala.
I think the the colour occurs due to enzymatic browning that occurs during drying.

Tell her to always use the the timer on the tv anytime she is cooking and simultaneously watching tv.
May be your approach to the issue is what is making her adamant. Call her and speak gently with her, make her see the dangers involved. If you really want to help her, you can get involved with cooking with her anytime you are around.
Lastly tell her to always inform you anytime she wants to start her cooking. With time she will change.
