They will have the right to take part in democratic elections,.. as well as the present generation, so I'll suggest you try and grasp the idea that sometimes democracy doesn't return the result you'd hoped for.... then teach that simple fact to them.
If anybody really believes that that racist, corrupt, senile agbaya received over 80 million popular votes in a "fair" election, then there's nothing left to say.

The corruption in this election will be revealed in the end, but it's way too little too late, the damage has been done.

Americans have gasoline shortages and the price of gas has gone up dramatically since the election. The first thing this mumu did was cancel construction on the Keystone pipeline, putting 700,000 people out of work.

The southern border has turned into a free-for-all, the cost of building materials has gone up over 400%, and the middle east is on fire again. Luckily they have uncle joe on top of things.

As long as the Democrats are in power the US is screwed. Future generations of Americans will still be stuck trying to pay off their national dept. What would you rather have, christians running the country, or the the party that founded the KKK?

If you paid attention, you'd notice references to events in the MCU. A newspaper article on the events at Sokovia, allusions to activities in Manhattan where the Avengers Tower is located, etc

You beat me to it. @ webhead, the Netflix marvel shows are said to take place in the same universe as the main MCU continuity.

I hope he plays the Netflix version.

If anyone from TV deserves to enter the films its Cox. He acted his ass off and made the Defenders possible.

Let's hope he will be in Phase 4's Avengers team-up then.
He doesn't need a solo film to do so.

Yeah I don't know about this. At this point I've developed a certain level of apathy for this game. I don't like how the levels are basically just these big arenas with enemies that you select. I would've preferred an open world, something like Spider-Man PS4 or the Arkham games.

I also thought the gameplay looked a bit boring. It just didn't seem fun to play to me. You could see Thor doing that same combo over and over.

And I don't know why you would take out Captain America in your first Avengers game undecided. Save something like that for the sequel. People want to play as Cap. I'm sure he'll be back, but the character will probably be missing most of the game.
I will wait to play the game to formulate a opnion, but from what i see its look like a fun game

Easy. Marvel's S-Tier list.

Uncountable reality-warping, Galaxy busting, solar system eviscerating characters in Marvel's universe.

If it were strictly Marvel's street levellers or metahumans, or barely planetary threats, obviously Goku and Vegeta won't have a problem

Unfortunately, Marvel has more than that. Goku and Vegeta will face bastards like Thor (depending on the version), Silver Surfer, Adult Franklin Richards, The Marquise of Death, Immortal Hulk, Cosmic Ghost Riders, The Annihilators, The Squadron Sinister, The Squadron Supreme

Even if somehow they survive, they have Eternity & Death waiting for them.

Don't lowball Marvel bro, especially if you're talking of the entire f****** universe.

Aptly put

To be honest with you Cavill is a decent actor but Cox is clearly the stronger actor of the two.

I would like to see what a stronger actor could do with Superman. I'd like to see Supes find his "Robert Pattinson" smiley

Cavill is sort of in the realm of Affleck. He's a "good enough" type deal
cool
Robert Pattinson turning out to be a great actor is one of the all-time stunners for me, because I didn't think much of him at all in his younger days.
I would have had him pegged as being Hayden Christensen 2.0.

He sure proved me wrong.

I think I prefer Superman actors to look a little more buff. Charlie Cox is a bit on the lean side for what I expect from seeing someone wearing the shield of Superman.

Here's a funny thing to note; Henry Cavill's character bullied him in Stardust. Wouldn't it be funny to see one Superman bullied by another if that casting choice ever happened?
If I remember correctly, Cavill and Cox were both up for the role of Tristan in Stardust and Cox beat him out which is how Cavill ended up with the bully role in the first place.

That's the First Class route. I say one could pick either that or the original trilogy. That one ended in 2006.
Hulk took place in 2003.
Tobey Maguire Spiderman ended in 2007.
It's possible to continue from where we left off.

It's even possible to have Garfield instead of Maguire. It ended in 2014.

Hire better writers to explore these storylines further. Replace the directors and cast.
Explain how Spidey, Hulk and X-Men exist in the same world with some solo films. Then have them team up.
It's also possible to have Daredevil, Blade, Punisher and Ghost Rider appear. But as new characters who have nothing to do with their own films, no storylines to continue from those.
Guy it's never happening undecided

I didn't mean that the rebooted MCU should only continue from A, or from B, or from C.

But all of them = A+B+C
I know, but i would never consider them all part of a single universe.
Three different universes within the same multiverse is the best i would credit those franchises with, and even then, i consider the x-men franchise irreparably tainted by poor character continuity and a timeline in which characters barely age for 30 years from the early 60s to the early 90s then age 30 years in a decade between then and the early 2000s.
Even with the odd continuity error here and there, the MCU is too tight to entertain association with that mess.
TV/Movies / Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by HbJ2(m): 8:23pm On May 11, 2020
Cottonmouth:

Not a total reboot with another actors playing the same Captain america, Iron man and Thor playing out the same storylines again.

But I could imagine a different MCU happening. Something that could continue the storylines from:
A) Ang Lee's hulk
and
B) non-MCU Spiderman, either Maguire or Garfield (pick only one).
and
C) Fox Xmen universe, original trilogy or First Class films (pick only one)

Build a new shared MCU out of those.
Not saying the same actors, directors or writing teams should return. Just that the story continues where the films ended, and that all those events actually happened in the same world.

Exactly were we left off, meaning no time has passed.

First "solo films" that explain this being the same world. Then we would get a superhero team-up adventure, before going into Phase 2.
A) I wouldn't be interested in that, Making his dad the absorbing man was dumb.

B) In the world of the three Raimi films i would include Ghost Rider because it was originally intended to be, Ghost Rider 2 because though it WASN'T intended to be it's still a sequel to the first one, and Punisher: War Zone because, like GR2, it was released under the "Marvel Knights" Banner, i see all those 6 films as one world.

c) Likewise with the X-men films and fox's other properties ...... Daredevil, Elektra and the first two FF films are in the world of the original trilogy, and Trank's FF reboot is some bizarre alternate timeline created by Deadpool hopping around wink

Coolgasman:
Marvel Announces Release Dates for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four in Phase 5.

Release Dates for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four Release Dates for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four
Release Dates for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four:

Amidst all these delays in the upcoming MCU & other superhero movies, Marvel has finally delivered some good news. The Phase 4 slate may be pushed around, but Marvel has now confirmed that 2023 will be the year when we will see both the X-Men and Fantastic Four in action. It’s highly likely that movies & shows before them would lead us right into those films. For instance, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier WandaVision, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2 & Deadpool will all have mutants. Just like that, Spider-Man 3 & Ant-Man and the Wasp 3 will be the ones leading us to Fantastic Four.

Release Dates for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four

As far as the release dates of these films are concerned, here are the 2023 release dates that Marvel had allotted to their unspecified films – February 17, May 5, July 28 and November 3. Now guess what, we won’t be seeing an Avengers 5 until 2024. That’s because 3 of the 2023 dates have been allotted to new projects. Fantastic Four will be Marvel’s July release. It arrives on July 28, 2023, a whole year after Ant-Man and the Wasp 3. Deadpool 3 will arrive on February 17, 2023 and it will lead us right into Marvel’s X-Men movie. The year will end with X-Men coming out on November 3.

Disney Marvel Cinematic Universe

Question for the big May release? Well, there was no doubt about that. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will release on May 5. We had already anticipated that but no one really knew of the release of Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four. This is surely some good news since we get to know of the direction that Marvel wants to take these characters in. They will Assemble the X-Men & the Fantastic Four so all of them could team up with the other heroes in Avengers 5.

When Will Fantastic Four Movie Release

Talking about the casting choice, only 2 of the Fantastic Four members have been announced. As the fans have wanted, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are playing Mr. Fantastic & the Invisible Woman in Marvel’s Fantastic Four reboot. In fact we could expect them to make their appearance in either Spider-Man 3 of Ant-Man and the Wasp 3.

Moving on to the mutants, we could imagine that Cyclops will finally get to lead the team of X-Men as he always should’ve. This movie is also where Wolverine would get his first appearance in the MCU. The previous rumor of Henry Cavill playing Wolverine in Captain Marvel 2 has been denied. No he isn’t playing Logan, and Logan won’t appear in the Captain Marvel sequel. The other anticipated members of X-Men are Iceman, Angel, Jubilee (finally), Jean Grey and Nightcrawler. Obviously, the X-Men won’t happen without Professor X, so he’d be there as well. But don’t wish for Magneto because Marvel won’t use him until Phase 6.

Release Dates for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four

Umm, okay. I can’t go on any longer with this lie. Me TIRED!! Happy April 1st. Enjoy your self-quarantine. Do try to pull pranks on your family members. And if you’re bored, do a rerun of the MCU. What’s even better is DCAMU. Watch all films of the DC Animated Universe until we get any new MCU & DCEU movies. The next Superhero movie of this year will come out in August. It is a long wait. Even though this was all an April Fools prank, these release dates mentioned above could actually happen for Deadpool, X-Men & Fantastic Four.
Very cute prank, you deserve an award

If Apple is truly interested in making their streaming aspirations a success, it's something that would make sense to me, same for Amazon.

Neither really view streaming as their core business though, in Amazon's case it's another service among many, with it being a givaway for some customers.

My guess is if Sony Pictures were purchased, It would be by one of the tech giants in media (FAANG minus Netflix).

I've seen some speculate about a Sony-Lionsgate meger, but I still don't think it would have the scale to compete in the new media landscape of walled gardens. When I say 'compete', I don't mean running the business successfully, I mean being a buyer vs. being a seller in the industry.

Streaming isn't Disney's core business either at the moment, but it will increasingly become a fundamental part of their overall success moving forward.

Yeah. When I poked around on the internet, that seemed to be the general conclusion.

Disney is more than fine,

the company has never been worth more and it's in store for major growth ahead.

They just purchased Fox for 73 billion and are investing billions in a platform that won't be profitable (so they say) until 2024.

Obsessing on misses for a quarterly earnings report is completely missing the big picture.

One being the stock price is at an all time high despite the fact there will obviously be some growth pains through such investment.

Investments intended to grow the business long term, thus the valuation. Wall St. believes in the story.

You obviously know more about this kind of thing than most people here do. Who would you say might be interested in purchasing Sony? I can't imagine that Disney would be after just completing such an expensive deal for Fox. Comcast was in the hunt for Fox as I recall.
