Your transit there is rarely up to 4hours you don't leave the airport.. You don't need transit.

No you don't need transit visa
If you use KLM and Airfrance and your ONLY transit is in Amsterdam (Netherlands) which is KLMs base then no transit visa. If your ONLY transit is Paris (France) which is AirFrance base then you don't need transit visa.

Same should go with Lufthansa which is Germany if it's ONLY 1 transit.

Note ALWAYS contact airline to confirm. If you can get their official number in Nigeria then at least I know KLM has an official Facebook account for questions

This is not true, if you are going to UK and you transiting in Europe, you need a transit visa. Avoid KLM, Lufthansa, Air France.

Only Turkish air does not require transit visa, if your stop over is only one stop in turkey.

Hello. I booked a flight with Turkish Airlines that goes from Ghana (Kotoka international airport) to Antalya Airport there will be a stopover at Istanbul Airport. After reaching Antalya Airport I will be catching another flight from there to Bristol UK with easyJet Airline.

My question is will I need transit visa going from Istanbul to Antalya and will this also apply when I’m taking my flight from Antalya to Bristol UK. (Regardless if I'm arriving or departing from International or Domestic Terminals)

If I understand you, you are having stop over at instanbul and Antalya. Which means you are transiting to another airport within turkey. You will need transit visa.

If you are only stopping ar instabul … no need for transit visa

Guys: So I booked a flight from a third party from cotonou to UK to have stop over at Turkey. We were denied boarding saying we need transit visa. Anyway, please how can I go about getting refund? Turkish airline said there is refund but later said no refund because we booked from mytrip.com . The flight is non refundable, but does that really mean all that money has gone? Turkish airline does not require transit visa if you are stopping at instabul. Which airport is your stop over?

And are you changing airport?

How many hours?

Do you have another stop over in Europe?

To get refund, you need follow up with trip.com

Having shown POF for the student, do I need to show the student portion again for SOWP?

If the fund available will not cover your expenses and your family expenses. Please don’t bother explaining your expenses. Just a write simple letter of sponsorship for your family and attach your bank statements. I have seen student that are actively studying providing their bank statements for SOWP.

Don’t bother explaining your own funds, just a letter stating you will sponsoring your family and proof of the funds in your account. All the best

it was part of the POF like a supporting acct before , but it was having 7k when we submitted.
the total amount was removed to support my brother travelling to the UK and he just landed last week, asking him for a refund is way too early

I will advice you get the amount that was removed back to your account and explain it. Wither you explain it was sent to another account for some purpose or which ever explanation that will make it fly.

Please had she paid up her fee before supporting your application with her statement? Did you demonstrate a positive net balance in her account? i.e netting off her expense from her balance and then showing that positive balance as a further boost for you. Or can you just help with the documents you provided?

Reason I ask is we were told that it is not right for the student to show account if the whole tuition had not been paid. Meaning, it can be counter-productive if the student shows account without also explaining the liabilities and proving that a net positive difference will be further available to support the spousal application.

The thing is that one of my kids didn’t get his own passport request and we’re still waiting. They said they’re still processing and will make a final decision. I take my time research on this refusal reason and it’s only applicable closed work permit, if you have an offer from canada employer where the offer does not meet up the compensation bracket. Some visa officer are mistaking Closed work permit for open work permit. You can try reconsideration or re apply. Order your notes too to see more details of the refusal
