If you move form your business account to her account, it already a lumpsum. Just explain the money came from the business account

1. I went to DHL office today and they are still claiming that they are doing two-ways courier service to VFS. Hope is good to still use them?

I heard too, you can do 2 way with DHL

You pay 9410 for transmission fee and 990 each for sms for your kids that don’t do biometrics.

It’s for imm1294. The kid is 6. For details of intended study in Canada I filled not yet applied for name of school
And for Education I clicked no for do you have any post secondary education. But it keeps bringing me to employment

Put the baby date of birth as employment till todays date and write baby as occupation

Your PPR will surely drop, you can send and raise webform, send mail to Abuja office too.

While waiting for your PPR, I will advise you send your children passport by next week before their 30 days ultimatum elapse.

Locate any UPS office closer to you and request for 2 way courier to VFS office.

To send through UPS.

You will pay for processing fees for those of your kids that don’t do biometrics about 9930 or so.

Attach the receipts to the envelope you are sending, including their passport, consent form, you can search for other required documents on VFS website

It means your application was approved, they probably forget to upload your visa approval letter or some technical glitch.

Send mail to Abuja and all the offices. Raise webform too, I experience same thing but mine was uploaded within 24 hours

What’s the details of the of correspondence letter? If it’s biometrics validity letter, it means they have made decision on your application. You raise a webform or send a mail to them

After starting classes, I had an emergency in naija. So I deffered for a year and left to naija. I submitted my admission letter and attached my student profile page that shows Fall 23. My previous enrolment letter too. Tuition receipt for 1yr. And I explained the situation extensively on the SOP.


The school does not issue new admission letter.

If I should do reconsideration, I think I would have to add a new document. Maybe a letter from school confirming the deferral . What do you think.

Please I have a really important question, my husband just got student visa to NBCC Canada, now in the letter of Intent, he listed me as home ties and that I Have agreed to stay back and take care of our 4 year old boy. With this in mind, can I apply for SOWP before he leaves Nigeria (He'll be leaving in July), or do I wait till he gets there and settle down before I apply? I hope it won't look deceptive that I plan to join him even though I agreed to stay behind in our letter of intent...?

Nothing to worry about. People change their mind and you apply now for your SOWP or when he left.

Get your documents and write SOP why you want to follow him or why he wants you guy to be with him. You are good to go.

Application numbers usually have 1 letter and 9 numbers. For example:

Good day everybody, I applied for sowp and study visa for my children, 3 of them. We did upfront medical last week tuesday, no message from IOM so far. However, I got a message from ircc requesting medical for my daughter today, no message for the rest of us. I checked the portal and noticed that they are reviewing my medical result, but no update for my other children.
I'm a bit confused as we all applied together, can anyone explain to me if this is normal. Thanks so much.

I want you to know it’s a good sign. Send the medical results for all member of the family through webform.

Use UPS for 2 way courier, they are the only one allowed by VFS.


But if you want to use DHL, it’s only one way but you can pay for VFS delivery which 18710 per passport.

I will advice you look for UPS and pay for 2 way courier, it’s cheaper that way

I was told by an agent that Canada doesn't accept ordinary bank statements again and that it has to be a statement with a generated token/passcode that can be used to verify the Funds immediately instead of contacting the Bank through CBN. is this true?

On the bank statements, MBS is better than printed bank statements especially when the pages is more.

It’s definitely an approval from experience and others that I have seen.

Send them webform tomorrow and also send mail to them. Maybe they sometimes forget to drop PPR or system glitch.

With this refusal reason, you don’t show enough proof of how your mum got the 32m in her account. Maybe na business or employment.

It’s not about having huge money in your account, you must explain the source. 32m is a lot of money and you need proof for it

Omo! I didn't include my LOA or Enrolment letter to my wife SOWP. I only submits my Summer & Fall semester Official transcript academic of record, and also my winter tuition payment receipts.

Those are the 2 important documents to attach to your application and you left them out.

You should reapply or apply for reconsideration by sending the documents with a letter

Am going alone, though I have wife and two kids. And currently working but not with much in my account, my sister is establishing a branch of her firm in the state where am living which am going to be managing when am thru with my studies was what was written in my SOP.

This was why I asked earlier, you are married and you are applying without showing any funds from your own end. How will you cater for the family you are living behind, how is the visa officer going to be sure the funds will be available to you when you get to Canada, those are some of the concerns the visa officer will have?
