Feex: Yes you can. It depends. One of my former lecturers had his BSc industrial chemistry. Today, he is a PhD holder in chemical engineering. If you decide to study in a foreign institution which I advise, you will not need to do a PGD. You will only take some make-up courses. thanks |

dustydee: For Engineering courses, a masters degree is a plus. In the UK for example, most Oil and Gas Engineering companies prefer to employ masters' degree holders because they are likely to get their professional registration faster than BSc holders. Also most Engineering students here do their MEng direct before leaving school. Also, masters' level think is different from BSc. I didn't realise this until I went for my masters'. I have also seen job adverts in Nigeria for 2.1 BSc holders or 2.2+ a masters' degree.
My company values an MSc much more than any other professional qualification for Engineers (apart from C.Eng). c.eng as in? |

Feex: With a BSc in industrial chemistry, you can definitely go for a postgraduate degree in chemical engineering. Many chemists follow that route. Just make sure you graduate with good grades. so after pgd?i can go for masters in chem eng or industrial eng as u said? |

Car Talk › Re: Why I'll Never Buy A Tokunbo Car Again by heatmeup(f): 2:15pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
mjbaba: See, everyone knows that buying a brand new car is always better but if you consider the price difference, buying a tokunbo car may be very well worth it. I know people who also bought brand new cars and had issues in less than 2 years just as I know people who bought tokunbo and used it for 4 years without issues. When you're buying a tokunbo car, buy one in very good condition and with low mileage and have it at the back of your Mind that you may have to replace one or two things usually battery, tyres, and a few other things. low mileage like? |

A chemical engineer may not be able to do what an Industrial chemist can do . you should check on a particular line industrial chemistry and chemical engineer are related ,you can have your masters in that line. my challenge is that i really love engineering things |

majekdom2: like I said different profession with different preferences. An M.BA is very much ok for the business and management degres . The Entry level engineering positions are usually graduate programs that sees you to a level of a manager ... during this period you will have to undergo some management courses . As an engineer a masters in your field is of utmost importance as you will gain indepth knowledge on the product line you will be managing. An Mba may not give you the management skills required for your line of expertise in Engineering , tho you may gain general knowledge. what if industrial chemistry and is interested in chemical engineer |

edwonderz: Hi guys,
I get asked all the time what is the best way is to develop a well-sculpted six pack and easy step to burn belly fat. Firstly, I am going the talk about DIET in this page, maybe talk about the kind of workout you will need in the next page like I promised. I have picked the 4 most important basic tips to get ripped Abs:
1. NUTRITION - It doesn't matter how hard you work in the gym if you don't control what goes into your mouth you will be like a religious man who is fasting without prayer. Before anything goes into your mouth develop a habit of asking yourself what nutritional value that pizza, sharwama, ice cream, burger, biscuit etc will add to your body? You will realise that they are nothing but empty calories that increases your cholesterol level. I will advice you replace all those junk snacks/food with fresh fruits and vegetables.
2. STOP DRINKING CARBONATED DRINKS - Carbonated soft drinks or the so called minerals cause the stomach to bulge, which is a serious precondition for its distending. They also slow down the digestion, which is a second precondition for developing distended stomach, since the food stays in the stomach for a long period of time.
3. DECREASE CARBS IN THE EVENING - Carbohydrates are the main energy source for human body; we need them to have strength and to be active during the day, but their increased intake, especially late at night leads to deposition of fat mainly in the waist and hip area. When we take carbohydrates during the day, when we are awake and performing different physical activities, we have the chance to burn them, but when taking them in the evening before going to bed there is no way to burn them, since the metabolism is much slower while sleeping and extra carbohydrates turn into fat.
4. DO NOT EAT BIG MEALS - Big meals lead to distended stomach. In order to have good physique and silhouette you need not only defined Abs, but also flat stomach.
In order to avoid distended stomach the food intake must be in smaller meals, but in shorter periods of time. The small intake is digested fast and when you eat more often that leads to metabolism acceleration.
Trust these basic tips will go a long way for you as we journey together to live a healthy life.
Workout, Eat right, Stay fit and Live strong. - Edwonder. pls ed am following you bumper to bumper pls specify the kind of food to eat and work out to do especially when the gym is far from one's house |
