Just like that? I bet you wouldn't do the same if your land measuring hundreds of acres was seized in similar fashion. The governor should be responsible and pay them compensation if the land is for an Over riding public interest if not he should simply return their lands to them

Not that I'm quoting you for any long drama, but i want you to understand one thing. If someone who calls himself a Muslim, goes on a rampage killing people, that's him, that's not islam. He is not following the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). There is no place in the Holy Qur'an or hadith(saying, action or silent approval of the Holy Prophet Muhammad) that says killing innocent people in the name of jihad is allowed. That's just ridiculous. What I see is just some people with something seriously wrong with their brain killing innocent people. Just because they're Muslims (which I probably think they're not) doesn't mean what they did was according to the teachings of Islam.

But killing infidels as well as disbelievers/ unbelievers is allowed? The truth is 99% of all trouble in the world has an attachment to Islam and you guys are happy about it... yes many muslims are happy with this!

The senate really goofed on this big time! what of the monies generated from drivers licence renewal, Vehicle insurance and road worthiness papers? Don't we know that the funds realized from those sections are meant to go into roads maintenance and construction? What about the current tax every one pays on data bundles and phone calls? If this sails through it will amount to multiple taxation on an already over stretched population. I think its high time we young people call these people's bluffs and disband them. They are self serving and without a clue.

It's not your fault maybe she expected you to pray with her and assure her that God heals you can only care and your best was all you could do at that moment. You might be right there! Heard of a case in VGC where a rich man tried to push a Liberian girl he offered a hike into his swimming pool. Unknowing to the man, his security who perceived he intonation of her greeting to be Liberian used subtly warned her not to take off her clothes for a bath... The lady got the message when they got into the living room where the swimming pool was.... Long story short as the man tried to force the lady into the pool by trying to push her, the lady evaded his push and instead he dived into the pool... Sister, a PYTHON came out of nowhere in the pool and swallowed the man... The lady ran out almost naked and insane!! Police came and found the man vomiting money in his living room.

In this age and time? People still keep functioning generators indoors? Ignorance is truly a bliss sadly no one is alive to tell tales. CARBONMONOXIDE (CO) IS A KILLER that kills within minutes. Even the Oyinbo man warns that the gas can kill you if you put it in half ventilated garage. Its that powerful and its about time people are sensitized on the dangers of keeping such death close. But trust Nigerians and "my property-i do it -anyhow " mentality.

Very correct sir. Farming is the way to go. It is the only way out of economic depression, recession and joblessness. We are getting there gradually. Now that attention is focused on agriculture, there is a big hope in sight.

This will boost the morale of other officers on the line of duty knowing fully well that their families will be compensated if they are KIA. His own opinion.. I wonder how many people this guy would have influenced by this post. The Bible says that you should honour your father and mother.. so that it may be well with thee and thy days may be long.. Honor goes beyond showing respect.. it also means giving to them. Nigeria has wiped away the retirement benefits of most parents. Remember Rasheed maina? well he is still a free man with many dead pensioners money... Excellent interpersonal interaction and a poise in personal effectiveness is null and void without a good use of Vocabulary.
Here are ten tips to improve your vocabulary to achieve that self esteem and improve your already rich reservoir of words.

1 Decide why you need new words: Decide your area of interest-medical terms, automobiles, agriculture, oil and gas, speech writing, leadership, public speaking, GRE, IELTS,etc This will enable you tailor your search on the subject area and just get ready explore all the way!
2. Read! Read !! Read!! : There is no other sure way of learning new words than reading.You will find words right there in a "natural habitat" than in a boring list. Once you find an unfamiliar word, try and guess its meaning from the context, or look up in a dictionary if you are not satisfied.
3 Use New Words Right Away : I remember watching an interview granted by a former chief of staff to the Former Edo state Governor, Hon Patrick O. : in his words: 'I am a man of many compendium(books) and I make use of the new words that I learn from my study".Either in writing or in speech, If you don't use it, you'll lose it
4 Subscribe to a word-a-day- List : Sites like wordsmith.org, www.oed.com and so many innumerable sites offer excellent services in that regard at absolutely no cost. Sign up and print the words out and use them.
5 The need for a good Dictionary: Oxford and Longman's Dictionaries are still very relevant in this guise. You can never go wrong with a good dictionary
6 Ask for help: Requesting the cooperation of friends and family in the use of new words is a lot of fun and very interesting. The use of games like scrabble is very helpful here. Actually, someone from Nigeria recently won a world scrabble championship. It creates a form of "buzz words" atmosphere and a cool feeling- trust me.
7 Set little word-hunt goals: The best way to master words is by you checking them out and finding them with regards to a particular relationship or application.
8 Buy and Use Good Thesaurus: Thesaurus helps to expand a word in every direction. Tips like synonyms, antonyms use can change the way you use a word for the best.
9 Listen to and Watch good radio and TV programs: TV ads, captions and and pronunciation of words seen in spelling can remove uncertainty.
10 Don't forget to check the pronunciation of the new and difficult words in your dictionary: Checking out the etymology which will give a succinct information on the right use of the word.
