I won't bore you with too much write up. I've been married for 6years now and I can't count the number of phones i bought for my wife in the last 2years due to her carelessness. Just yesterday she took the infinx phone i bought for her sometimes back and sold it. I swear with my father and mother's grave. I take very very good care of her and my 3children. It's over 24hours now, she is yet to even inform me that she has sold the phone and i also didn't ask her about her phone, i've just been watching her phoneless since yesterday. As a result of this, I will never use my money to buy anything for her, not even a bra. This is a woman who doesn't lack anything. I buy things for her almost every week, is it shoes, clothes etc... Her and my children are very comfortable, they eat anything they want. I also try to buy things for her mum especially food stuffs and send to them. Honestly guys, I'm in so much pains and anger that I feel like ending the marriage because of this.

We need answers to all sorts of questions. In religion we need an explanation for our religious experiences.
Ok what is education. For example why study engineering without inventing anything.
Why are we so superstitious.
We are in trouble without philosophy.
What is happiness. Why do people commit suicide.

Diseases are caused by abundance either. Smoking, drinking, drugs, obesity, fast food, etc.

I can give you an unlimited list of things that only wealthy people suffer and die from, plane crash is an example.

My point is not that you should NOT aspire to be wealthy, but the understanding that life is lived immaterially. Money and material stuff only make life interesting, and you can have a fabulous life without being wealthy,

or to put it in the best way, without being materially wealthy.

Peace of mind, body shape and building, meditation, quality relationships.

But for the basic need of life, you need money or leverage or influence.

With the power of leverage and influence, you can survive. I have survived 6months without spending cash or touching the money in my account so it's possible.

Life is actually lived immaterially, and the materials (eg money) are the toppings.

So a good life from an immaterial perspective is good health, love from family and friends, love someone intimately, being physically free (not in jail), capable of mobility (not in a wheelchair), being able to see, not being in debt, not an illiterate, have hope, etc.

Chances are, you already have almost all of the aforementioned, so count your blessings. You have more blessings, and you will find it if you look for it. And if you are content and modest, you should be happy.

So to answer your question, can you achieve anything without money? My answer would be that you already have the most important thing. When you have a hundred problems and are sick for example, then you have just one problem.

You have to be healthy first, to tackle the other problems that you have. Ever experienced toothache? ulcer nko? you don catch Gonorrea before? Syphillis kwanu?

I don't wish any of those sicknesses on my enemies. Because if just one catch you, then all of your other problems will take the backseat, until you clear the health problem first.

Then, maybe just then, you realised that you are actually blessed, and try not to bother yourself too much.
