Romance / Re: My Fiancee Can't Read, Write But She's a Gem by Helly(f): 1:48pm On Apr 19, 2006
KingHenry, for you to have made all these efforts to see that your girl improve's and even planning to send her abroad really shows that you love her so much and you want the best for her. Not all guys are willing to go half the way you've gone therefore I commend you and equally advice you not to give up on her, just keep on trying and she'll pick up before you know it. You guys have come a long way and this is not the time to call it off after much devotion to each other, I strongly believe she'll improve just don't rush her, learning is a gradual process. God will help you and all's gonna be fine ok? just dont let anything put you apart not even her inability to read and write for gems like her are rare to find!
Good luck in all your endeavours and hope you'll invite me too on that D-Day? grin

Health / Re: Do You Support Euthanasia? by Helly(f): 11:36am On Jan 25, 2006
A patient may require "mercy killing" from a doctor when he/she is in a very critical or pitiable condition, in my own opinion, the doctor should not just go ahead and consent to the plea...i think it will be wise for him to let family member's of that patient know about what he/she is asking for..if the family member's agree, then he can go ahead..if possible the doctor and the family member's should sign an agreement to show that they actually gave their consent, but if on the other hand they refused to allow the mercy killing, then the doctor should forget it no matter the plea from the patient..he should just go on administering treatment in the best way he can. The doctor should not just carry out the mercy killing without any agreement whatsoever.
Family / Re: Another Baby Girl (After Two Daughters!) by Helly(f): 9:57am On Jan 23, 2006
A child is a child, be it a boy or a girl. There are some people out there who can't even have any, and are praying to God to have one even it is a boy/girl, and there u have some men complaining about the sex of their baby...they ought to be happy for having a child at all. How ungreatful such men are!

Religion / Re: Christians: Does God's Word Allow Divorce or Not? by Helly(f): 6:31pm On Jan 22, 2006
Yes, God actually hate's divorce. The only scriptural ground for divorce is adultery, but if the spouse choses to forgive the other spouse in question, then they can still live together it's a matter of personal choice, but if not, he/she can seek for a divorce...after that, he/she is then free to re-marry. NOTE: they are only free to re-marry when they have divorced not when they are seperated..there's difference.

Religion / Re: Is Bible The Word of God? by Helly(f): 5:53pm On Jan 22, 2006
The bible is certainly the word of God. the fact that men wrote the bible does not mean that it isn't the word of God, for those who wrote the bible wrote under God's inspiration...they wrote God's thought not their's. Take for instance an old man who cannot write, then he get's someone who is more eligible to help him write a letter to his son..as he is talking the young man is penning his word's down, at the end of the day who would we say wrote the letter? the old man of course because all the word's written down by the young man were his thoughts.  In this case i'm not trying to say that God cannot write, but we cannot expect him to come down to earth to write the bible for us or to write it in heaven and then throw it down for us, that was why he used men to write the bible under his inspiration.
Religion / Re: Is it wrong for a couple to live together before marriage? by Helly(f): 5:18pm On Jan 22, 2006
It is absolutely wrong for a couple to live together before marriage...why the rush since they're going to get married? beside's that, there's tendency that they'll commit fornication if they live together. It's not even advisable for them to be alone all the time let alone living together. Though it is very common in today's world, but the fact that people are doing it does not make it right...it is wrong biblically and morally.
Family / Re: Just Before Your Wedding, Your Husband Tells You He's Impotent by Helly(f): 11:59am On Jan 18, 2006
I believe that every secret/problem should be let out before marriage that is when u're very sure that the marriage will hold, and if ur partner really love's u both of u can work something out..but if u conceal any secret and later ur spouse find's out by him/herself, definitely there's bound to be problem. In this particular case, for the man to have hidden such a big problem mean's he could really do more worse things..i don't think he really love's the girl rather he wanted to ruin her if not he would have told her long before the marriage and if the girl really love's him, she'll stick with him. If God forbid i happen to be the one in that situation, without thinking twice i'll call off the wedding immediately.
Family / Re: Housewife or Working Woman? by Helly(f): 12:37pm On Jan 16, 2006
Being a working class woman or having a career is not all that bad, but i think the larger part of a woman's time should be devoted to her family(husband & children) if a married woman is to work, she should be self employed at least this would afford her enough time to take proper care of her family..her children in particular cos' they're most vulnerable so they need attention, but a situation whereby the woman's goes to work from morn' till eve' leaving the kid's for the house help or whoever u find out that these children turn to something else...it's not as if she can't attend to her business when she's self employed...but at least she's a boss of her own therefore she can close and go home anytime she pleases or she might even decide to employ someone who can take charge when she's not there. Some women due to their tight schedule do not even have time to prepare meal's for their hushand or even to wash his cloth's, they live everything for the househelp to do..now this is what i call absolute RUBBISH! how can a househelp prepare ur husband's meal for christ's sake? what did he marry u for then? a woman is suppose to have time for her home...she ought to know what's happening in the home and all that...i don't even fansy the idea of getting a househelp cos' they're not to be trusted...(if u get the one that'll snatch ur husby or even spoil ur children whose fault will it be?) and it happen's cos' if ur husby don't get enough attention from u but get's it from the househelp, what do u expect? Well, as for me...i'm gonna be self employed when i get married so my husband & children can enjoy enough of my attention and i ain't gonna get any househelp i'll do all the chore's myself.
Romance / Re: Would You Sincerely Love and Date a Girl who Won't Make Love to You? by Helly(f): 9:30am On Jan 12, 2006
Sex is not all there is in a relationship, there's more to a relationship than just sex...does it mean that one cannot have a clean relationship without sex? this is what u'll do and even get tired of after marriage so why the rush?.....ok for the ladies, what if after messing urself up with a guy thinking that he's going to marry u then he dumps u later? and for the guys, how would u like to marry someone that has been seen in and out by another man? it's more like a 'second hand' like people would say, wont u appreciate a girl who has kept herself morally chaste inspite of all pressure's just 4 u? a girl that it's only u that have access to her body?...c'mon guy's it's just wonderful considering the fact that we live in an immoral world where sex is the order of the day, if i'm gonna have sex with a man, it MUST be after marriage...i mean i can't give my pride to another man who would'nt cherish it 4ever...i believe that a girl's pure moral stand is what make's her beautiful and unique. so 4 the girl's who are on the right track as regards morality i'll advise u to hold on to it strongly.. never allow anyone take it away 4rom u no matter the gift's and all that...i'm sure the owner will greatly appreciate and cherish ur effort when u find him...and so will the Almighty God. PEACE!!!
Romance / Re: Would You Sincerely Love and Date a Girl who Won't Make Love to You? by Helly(f): 11:06am On Jan 11, 2006
This topic is a very nice one. One thing about me is that i like setting things straight at the initial stage so that there'll be no problem or arguement whatsoever later on. If i want to date a guy, the first thing i'll let him know is that i'm not into sex then if he can cope fine cos' most guys are like that...the moment u agree to go out with them then the next thing is sex...they'll want to have sex with u and when u refuse they'll assume u're doing with someone else. so i wouldn't like a situation like that and that's why i'm gonna let him know that i can't have sex with him so that if that's the reason he came to me in the first place he'll go try his luck somewhere else. PEACE!!
Family / Re: mother or wife both have a bad kidney and need one of yours, who would you give by Helly(f): 8:52am On Jan 11, 2006
That's gonna be a very difficult decision to make for one who find's him or herself in that situation. Well if God forbid i happen to be in that situation, all i'll have to do is to buy a kidney for them both, but if it's not possible to do that , then i'll donate for my dad and look any of my husby's relation to donate for him afterall mine may not even match his since we're not of the same blood, but i must look for an alternative to see that he survive's it.
