Immanuelar: I tried searching for the former thread but could not find it so I tried to create a new one, as we all know the post utme registration is closing tomorrow 28-6-14 and the exam hold from 30th june through 3rd of july.

If you have any question you can post it here for fellow aspirants to solve it.
I am also an aspirant of Biochemistry and my exam is scheduled to hold on 1st of July by 12pm noon.

University of Nigeria Micro-Finance Banks at Enugu and Nsukka.

b) Online Pre-registration commences on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 and ends on Friday, August 1, 2014. Those who fail to register within this period will not be screened.

With the scratch card, candidates should access and complete the University of Nigeria 2014/2015 Post-UTME screening form online at http://portal.unn.edu.ng.
Note: Candidates must not scan any passport photograph on their forms.
c) All candidates are required to bring the following for the screening exercise:
i. A copy of ONLINE form duly completed;
ii. 2013/2014 JAMB slip;
iii. HB Pencil and Eraser.
No GSM handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls.

Information on the Venues for the screening will be made available at the Campuses and on the University of Nigeria website, a day to the screening dates.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED CANDIDATES
Blind candidates should register online, but they are not invited to the screening exercise
Candidates may also visit the University of Nigeria website, www.unn.edu.ng, for this information.
The details of the Screening Exercise for Direct Entry candidates would be announced later.

Afolabi6046: Admission into d skul is based on aggregate i.e. UTME + PUTME score/2, meaning dat u must strike balances bwn ur scores. For example, if u ar going for a 260 course, u shud knw dat ur UTME score shudn't b less dan 250 so as to EASILY strike a balance wit a PUTME score of 270.

Federal Polytechnic Ede postutme and admission
There are indications that the Federal Polytechnic Ede Post Utme will be out before the end of this month.
The school is planning to merge the last year admission with this year as a result of 11months old strike embarked upon by asup last year.
This is a good news for every candidate who chose Federal Polytechnic Ede in the just concluded Utme as there are possibilities that the newly admitted student will begin academic activities with student that were admitted last years.
Details of the post utme will posted here once the form is on sale.

UNIABUJA SUSPENDS STRIKE
The Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities, University of Abuja branch, Mr Ben Ugheoke, on Tuesday in Abuja said the body has suspended the strike by its members.

Ugheoke told the News Agency of Nigeria in a telephone interview that the decision was taken on Monday during a congress held at the institution’s mini-campus.

He said, “We resolved at the congress to suspend the strike after signing an agreement with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Micheal Adikwu.

“The announcement on this will be done Tuesday morning.”

The ASUU branch embarked on the strike on June 2, following what it called “Federal Government’s refusal to release the White Paper containing issues affecting the institution”.

The Federal Government had on July 16, 2012 constituted a Visitation Panel to resolve issues affecting the institution but the White Paper of the report was yet to be released.

Ugheoke said the signed agreement involved the release of the White Paper, and that the Vice-Chancellor has assured the union that he would work towards ensuring its release.

He, however, said the recall of students to the campus was a decision to be made by the University Senate.

UNIABUJA SET TO RESUME
The leadership of ASUU University of Abuja has called of the strike after the union decided to accept Professor Michael Umale Adikwu as the institution's vice -chancellor.
The institution's ASUU chairman called off the nearly two-months old strike following a decision of the three university lecturers who took the new v.c to court due to his un-merited appointment as the v.c of the institution to accept him as the vice-chancellor of the school. The management of the school will throw open the school gates for students as from Tuesday, 15th July, 2014.
