Hey 🤠

*** Your narration denotes that you did not apply for the IW yourselves because the 221g slip must contain some information for you .

1. The 221(g) is not a true refusal. It is called a “conditional refusal which typically means that more information is requested by the issuing officer.

2. Your daughter need to provide whatever information has been requested or she need to strengthen the information she has already provided to the consular.

3. The 221g may turn to permanent refusal if the visa officer assess both parents as would-be over stayers . Another point is that if your daughter is in her adolescent years (14-18) or even older , then she is a very good candidate to stay and work in the USA illegally too.

4. Also have it at the back of your minds (both parents) that you are renewing her visa when she is supposed to be attending classes in school .

5. If her 221g finally turned to permanent refusal then you and your spouse (parents) are the reasons because a nonimmigrant is a person who has a residence and (especially nuclear) and family abroad they do not intend to abandon and this girl on 221g might be YOUR ONLY CHILD ?

6. The Consular had the whiff of immigrant intent. If you all have the visas, then all of you together looks like you are ready, willing, and able to stay in America.

Best Wishes 🙏
You really have a big problem responding to people. You don’t have to respond if you don’t understand what she is asking.

Obviously, she already booked the interview. However, if you are familiar with it, the appointment confirmation letter is very similar to IW and you would be wondering whether it is still IW or physical appointment .
That is simply the question she is asking. She only needs reassurance it is the right appointment she booked but for a physical interview.

Good morning everyone. Please I need your help. We applied for visa renewal under interview waiver as a family. We all qualified for interview waiver. My husband and I were granted visa but my daughter was refused under 221g. She was asked to schedule another interview. Which we have done. Question is, we don't know if it's a regular or physical interview or drop off. The confirmation appointment letter is similar to the interview waiver.
Experienced people in the house, can you please throw more light on this. Thank you.

.
Hello, I understand what you are saying . The appointment letter still looks exactly like the IW appointment letter . Infact, the priority will still say WITHOUT INTERVIEW.
Don’t worry. It is the physical appointment.

Didn't bother to finish reading your trash as soon as you talked about your parents.
It's obvious your parents died long ago leaving you in misery hence your raving madness and disregard for people's parents.
Silly Bigot hiding as usual, everyone knows the tribe you referred to.

Another long response to you woud be a waste of breath.

Ode!!!
Next time, if you know your parent raised you well, never respond back to people that didn’t insult you with insult. I never insulted anyone because I was properly trained .
You could pass your message without calling someone Oponu. If you called someone Oponu, it is a reflection of your poor upbringing and you would be dragging your parent in the mud since it is their responsibility to train you.

U are very dumb tk think we are as foolish as u... everyone who read ur pistol knows that u are a tribal bigot ... and yes hushpuppy was the final nail that hit the coffin ... an international fraudster hiding in dubai to commit ferocious crime and destroying their reputation and u say he dint steal from the Arabs ... to make I seem like the Arabs were protecting him from his crimes were enough for him to be arrested and kicked out of dubai ... the Aye vs Eye cult war that spilled blood on their streets and apartments were also the igbos shey??

Thank God you read the pistol and you immediately knew that the people with tendency to commit crime in Nigeria are whoever you mentioned. That’s enough evidence to show there is a lot of truth in whatever was alleged. Enough evidence to show that even if your parent’s failure to teach you morals and decorum on a public forum were not obvious, your empty brain would have exposed your foolishness anyway.

Finally, if you are able to afford 500 naira MTN data, you can just google the cult clash in Dubai and tell me the language the cultist were speaking.

Hushpuppy was an isolated case and that is the reason why you kept mentioning him. I guess Hushpuppy is responsible for our ban from
Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand , Turkey etc too. While other Africans can easily go to Bali, I had to pay 1200 dollars just for a single entry visa for a one week holiday in Bali. They call it calling visa because Nigerians can’t just apply for visa to Indonesia. Our drug brothers have finished our reputation there. A committee consisting of police, drug police, intelligence unit etc has to seat on every application for visa from Nigeria regardless of who you are. Even if you have a green card from USA, it is the same process. I am presently in New Zealand and I am shocked at the reputation that certain tribe in Nigeria has outside the shore of the country. I had to start telling foreigners that yes , I am a Nigerian but I didn’t come from that tribe.

If the people from that tribe can reduce crime by just 50 percent, Nigerians will gain reputation as the most honest black Africans worldwide.

You have changed your I.d again and come to start fooling yourself here.

It's Atiku and "people from a certain region"(Nigerians) that are your problems now.

Your god and his entourage that went to fool themselves there, even touring museums without any tangible outcome doesn't bother you imps.

Here in the u.s and other developed nations, Mexican cartels, Italian mafia/ mobs, Japanese yakuza, chinese mafia and other nationals constitute nuisance all over and they're treated just like Nigerians so it's not about "people from a certain region"....as long as you're not Caucasian or a true native of their country, you're tagged one name or the other.

People from all regions in nigeria commit crimes in the uae like our brother hush pup and his crew....so shut it pls.

There was a video yesterday of one hausa guy who forged papers to go to the US for a non-existent conference and was caught by immigration.

Educate yourself before you constitute nuisance.

Just kwantinu.

Awon asinwin oponu ayeraye.

I would have loved to excuse your ineptitude but you called your father Oponu down there and I think you need to be taught some decorum. It is not your fault that your parent failed in their responsibility to train a responsible fellow.

Anyway, the Mexicans are known all over the world for drug cartels. That is because we have a large percentage of them involved in organized drug cartels.

That doesn’t mean people from other countries were not involved but if you mention drug cartel, Mexico comes to mind because they have large populations of such.
Has it occurred to you that the person you are responding to did not mention any tribe but you kept talking about Hushpuppy. It means deep down, you know the tribe WITH THE LARGEST POPULATION OF CRIMINALS IN NIGERIA giving us the bad name that Nigerians are known for.

Therefore, cover the shame of your parent by displaying some level of decorum and stop parading your lack of home training as an evidence of their failure in raising a responsible fellow

Hushpuppy or mompha na from East shey??

I can’t remember mentioning East anywhere in my write up.
Nevertheless, Nigerians were not banned because of Huspuppy. He did not steal from the Arabs. He stole from Americans and he is rightfully enjoying his stay in American prison. We were banned because some unruly Nigerians from a certain tribe were busy robbing shops, engaging in cult clashes and constituting nuisance as usual. They did the same in Malaysia, Indonesia . South Africa, Kenya and anywhere Nigerians are known for crime. I never mentioned the East. Na you did.

Before I forget, that Twitter Erat will come and list 100 countries excluded in such type of Visa. embarassed
Specifically, a region of the country with tendency for crime put us in this mess. I was talking with a group of South Africans at work yesterday. They said a group of Nigerians from a particular tribe have spoilt their country. They said these particular people sell drugs all over Joburg while claiming that South Africans are lazy.
We should allow them to get their country and stay in their landlocked region . Just make sure they get visa before visiting other region. They kept making the lives of Nigerians difficult abroad.

Let’s see how it goes.

One may ask what the interest of the father of the deceased is? What does he want? Does he want to take over his son’s entire property? What’s his grievance against his late son’s wife? Is the old man desperate? Is he greedy? Why is he refusing to accept his grandson after the demise of his son?

Too many questions to ask.

Let’s just answer yes to all these questions.
The only question that matters is this…. If Mhobad is your son, will you allow a bastard to inherit his legacies just because you don’t want Nairaland in laws to think that you are greedy? The only way to prevent that from happening is to do a DNA. Once that is done, everyone will be happy . The father deserves a closure. He shouldn’t live with doubt all his life after losing a son

When can the Court Order a DNA Test?
Where a person is a minor (not an adult) and his paternity is in issue, the court can order the conduct of DNA test in the overall interest of the child, to ascertain where he belongs. See TONY ANOZIA V. MRS. PATRICIA OKWUNWA NNANI & IGNATIUS "NNANI" (2015) 8 NWLR (PT. 1461) 241

Who Can Apply for a Paternity Test in Nigeria?
Notwithstanding that the right to ascertain paternity exists in Nigeria, it is important to understand that the process and conditions surrounding the application for a paternity test must adhere to established legal principles.

In Nigeria, the following individuals can apply for a paternity test:

1. A Father: A man who doubts his biological relationship with a child can apply for a paternity test.

2. A Mother: A mother may also apply for a paternity test to establish the biological father of her child.

3. A Guardian or Custodian: In the paramount interest of a child, the child's guardian may apply to the Court to ascertain the paternity of the child.

Mohbad's father is neither of the above.
You are regurgitating thrash. The case here is beyond establishing paternity. The father lost his child in a controversial circumstances . For him to get a closure, he needs to ascertain the paternity of the child left behind by Mohbad. All the rubbish you are saying above is only applicable if Mhobad is alive. As the head of the family, our customary law entrust the father with the family tradition. He reserves the right to do the DNA. Mhobad could have confided in him before he died and he can as well claim that was the last wish of his son when they last spoke. The law is not rigid.

Like the government, you're also shying away from the ROOT CAUSE that make majority of these workers even apply for the leave of absence in the first place. You & I know that in over 80% of cases, the reason is to seek for greener pasture elsewhere. In essence, if the system is well funded & conducive enough for these workers to stay back in, there wouldn't be any need for majority of the people leaving under this guise to do so.
Cause & effect are actually inseparable if we're genuinely seeking a LASTING solution to this protracted menace.

I hope you get my point of view now...
The funniest part is that you started your foolish post with Lol.
If we want a permanent solution , we should allow those that leave to keep milking the system because it is not the root cause according to professor alwayzonlyn. If this makes sense to you, you need that Lol for yourself .

This woman will never have another opportunity to celebrate 60 again. Never!!! She may even die before 70. The same way the person that died will never die a second time.

If the family want to do Burial ceremony, they won’t go there with ashes on their head. They will invite all the important people all over the world to come and feast during the funeral.

WHY CANT YOU ASK THEM WHY THEY ARE HAPPY CELEBRATING A FUNERAL WITH A FANFARE?

I bet if the pastor was doing an elaborate funeral, you would not be angry because you are miserable. You are only happy when people celebrate misfortunes. This one is a birthday so it makes you unhappy.

Finally, even Jesus told us in the book of Luke 9:60-

LET THE DEAD BURY THEIR DEAD.

In other words, life and celebrations of life should never stop because of the dead.

The Bank that made him did not stop to make money. They continued to work everyday. He practically owned the bank. They could not sacrifice some days to honor him but to you, it is nothing.
You want another family to completely stop what they were planning for years just to make you happy because he is an important member of the church.

If the bank could not stop making money to honor the person that made them who they are, why should the woman stop her celebration? It was not a church celebration, it was a personal birthday.

Hey 🤠

You have contradicted yourself above "may be one in a million " What if he is going to be that one in a million on the day of his interview ?

The way you emphasized on "US embassy doesn't check bank statement for F1 visa makes it look as if you presently works at the embassy , and that the US embassy have stated it on their website that ' bank statement checking has been canceled for F1 visa process .

I use Indian and Chinese visa process for my case studies because they have the largest visa applications being put forward to the US embassies in all categories , while the US embassy visa procedure is mathematical worldwide.

Therefore , how did i make him to prepare in a wrong way for his interview ? The highest preparation you can make for all category of US visas as a 1st timer is communication preparation . Let any student visa applicant go to the embassy with proof of fund (bank statement ) either they check it or not . That is what i wrote .

Best Wishes 🙏
You are just all over the thread spreading contradictory informations. I am not here to argue with you. This thread has nothing to do with F1 . F1 is a student visa and there is a separate thread for that. This thread is specifically for a visit visa mainly B1/B2.

THEY DONT CHECK STATEMENT OF ACOUNT.

They only check for F1 because they want to know wether you can pay school fees and also medical to know wether you can pay for the treatment. They rarely ever check statement of account for visit visa. Once again, it is probably one person in a million and even if you don’t have , THEY DONT DENY VISIT VISA based on the availability of your account. It doesn’t affect the decision making.

Once again, show me the transcript of a single person on this thread that they asked for his statement account for B1/B2.

If you keep shoving your documents in the face of the VO, they will deny you!!!! Don’t go and be putting forward your statement of account when the VO is not interested in it. They will deny you .

Hey 🤠

I got you . Bank statement is what constitute the larger part of most visa supporting documents and you are allowed to submit or bring it in even if the bank statement contain one wheel barrow 😊

For US embassy , the consular officer most time quickly glance through the 1st , 2nd to the last and last pages , and follows the inflow , outflow and deposit balances . He or she won't check the whole pages because there is no time .

Best Wishes 🙏
US embassy checking statements for visiting visa? They don’t check statements of account for a visit visa ( maybe one in a million) . You are making him to prepare in a wrong way for his interview. He will concentrate on things that don’t matter.

Nobody will look through his statement of account.
If you can quote just one transcript for a visiting visa on this page in the last one year ( not medical, not student) that the VO checked his or her statement of account, I will apologize and delete my comment.

Hello. My interview is in 10 days time. Because I run a turn over kind of business. Sometimes by bank account balance can be high, sometimes it can be low depending on when I place order for goods or when I sell. I currently have about 9 million in my account. Can I print by statement like today that there is money there cos I don't know if by the time it's a day to interview, my balance can be 2 million or 3 million and they will think that's all I have. Will they want to see statement that was printed like a day before? Or statement that was printed 10 days before is still fine?
Unless you are a student or going for medical treatment, no one will check your statement of account. Don’t even bother printing it.

Politics / Nigeria Has The Second Lowest Cost Of Living In The World!!! by helpee(m): 5:52am On Jan 31
According to Numbeo’s updated cost of living index for 2024, Nigeria has Africa’s lowest cost of living and the world’s second lowest cost of living, second only to Pakistan, despite the country’s startling rate of inflation and weakening currency.

Nigeria's inflation which is currently at an alarming 28.92%, an 18-year high, and a 13-month consistent surge, has seemingly done little to raise its cost of living index to a global high.

Inflation is typically associated with a greater cost of living. However, Nigeria's reality calls into question this logic. The cost of living index, which takes into account factors such as housing, transportation, food, and healthcare, still places Nigeria as one of the countries with the lowest cost of living, presenting an interesting case study.

I don't know where you live..but try and visit Teslim Balogun, Surulere, Agege or National Stadium on a Saturday, if you're a professional coach you'd select 2 National teams among them who can represent us well in any tournament. Those were the places where some of our retired stars of the 90s were selected from and they did us proud

My cousin was the best female.player in the whole of Ibadan early 2000s. She was always going to liberty Stadium to train. She was supposed to be enlisted into the National team. Each time she'd be coming to our house soliciting for help. She always mentioned 100k, which the football body was asking her to pay before they could accept her, despite her great talent and skills.

She looks so masculine in appearance. If not her breast, you'd think Taiwo was male. In the end, she was able to raise 50k with the help of her coach. She was dropped. Who knows,. Maybe she'd have been the best among them in her time. She's in her 40s now. When I said corruption, I knew what I was saying . It didn't even start today but it's worse now.
For your mind, you don make sense?
Make we go select players that will represent us from Agege national stadium? You think this is 1940 or what?
Football has gone beyond raw talent. They must be groomed and trained.
Those raw talents are only good for selection into training academies not for national team.

How can you even say this?

Your cousin raised 50k and she was not selected. Was that not enough to tell you that she was not good enough for the coach? They chop her money and still refused to select her. She was not good enough. Period!!!

By the way, what were the parameters that made her the best player in Ibadan? …. Because she was your cousin or because she looked like a man?

If those players at Agege and national stadium are not good enough to make it to local league, you want the National coach to waste his time and be looking for players to represent us nationally without any professional experience. Very funny.

In our local league, can you make your first eleven that could do better than this team assuming the almighty CORRUPTION is not involved? If the players are good enough, we will hear their names from local league first.
STOP ASCRIBING EVERYTHING TO CORRUPTION. These players failed in their basic responsibilities so far.
NOTE
Cape Verde is the most professional team of this tournament. Despite being a small island, the team comprises of players FROM 25 CLUBS IN EUROPE!!!!!

You want us to select our own from Agege stadium. Nigerians 😝😝😝😝

Why can't it be the Lord's when Hausa-Fulanis takes over the whole of Nigeria?

Una go explain tire because of hypocrisy.
I dont have time to educate anyone in this age and time when you can use the same cheap data you used to talk about nonsense date to google it yourself.
All you need to do is type 636 siege.
Just for your education though, 636 is year 636 just like year 2023. You may use your cheap data to learn how to understand calendar dating.
The ISREALIs did not meet the present Palestinians on the land in the Bible so if they lay claim to the land, so be it.

You are not sincere in your argument so it is totally flawed and biased. Yes, that was how they were claiming lands in those days.

The Muslims first came to Jerusalem in 636. Guess what they did? They laid a siege to the land till the inhabitants surrendered. Same way ISREAL is laying siege now. Even the Ottoman Empire that eventually ruled before the British took over used war conquest to claim all the lands they were ruling. The British took over from Ottoman after world war by defeating them.
Therefore, you are correct, war was the language in those era and you can’t use that to judge now

It doesn’t matter. You made it look like the Israelis took the land originally from the Palestinians. No. The Palestinians themselves came to the land long after the fall Jerusalem by ALEXANDER THE GREAT and the first introduction of Islam was during the siege of 636.
You can claim anyone owns the land depending on where you start your history from.
