Politics / Re: The Increase In VAT Is Set To Become The Blazing Inferno- Atiku by helpee(m): 4:51pm On Sep 08
MadPolitician:
Maybe the attitude of these people in power reflects some sort of throwbacks to the indigenous cultures from where they come from. It is becoming obvious that those who have been ruled for ages by autocratic and brutal emirs and obas, seem to see governance as a place where an emperor dictates and the people follows, without necessarily worrying about the different layers of pangs of poverty tinibulating the masses. They can't do without being brutal too, since thats all they know about.

That is the only conceivable reason left to explain what is going on. Most prehistoric Obas and Emirs in some areas that formed present day Nigeria, were brutal despots who were projected as not just rulers, but as diviners too. Semi gods. They were the executive, the judiciary and the legislature in one body. The made laws and their brood of serfs bowed to say yes. Some even rolled in the mud to greet them. They had little regards for the poor tucked away in forgotte remote villages.

That is where this problem started. Because it is now obvious that the products of these societies lack empathy when they eventually find themselves government. They see themselves as some sort of "national Obas and Sultans", and because they are used to people from their ethnic groups finding it it hard to criticise them as was the case during the precolonial era, these leaders also expect the rest of us, including those that never had "almighty" obas and emirs, to also swallow their bullshit, line, hook and sinker.

Believe me, it's cultural..
This would have made sense assuming the other culture without obas and Emirs were not staying at home based on the order of one small boy from Finland.
The bullshit you swallow from that fool is more smelly than dung belive me.

Moreover, with the level of development in the region without Obas where they are trooping to the streets to celebrate street light in 2024, I think they need to learn a lot about governance from the people who traditionally had obas.

The emperor in your land is one small boy from Finland. Let your father say no to him and go to market on Monday first before you claim some other region have autocratic tendencies. Mumu

You guys never got to the point where u were a significant challenger in an election where there is no significant interest on the part of yoruba people and we overlooked you to go northwards but surprisingly u guys have always gone northwards and even in 1999 when there was no northerner u still decided to pick the candidate that the North loved among the 2 yoruba contenders.

In 1979/83 you even overlooked your own Azikiwe to vote for Shagari. Same as when Ojukwu contested. I am 100 percent sure that if the Igbos present a sellable, formidable candidate in anelectiom year where yorubas have no serious dog in the fight. Yorubas will lovingly vote such a candidate especially if the Northern candidate is not deemed to be as competent as the igbo candidate but u guys, even in the face of competence, you will still vote a northern candidate.

You did it against Awolowo to vote Shagari...you did it against Abiola to vote for Tofa (3 out of the 4 eastern states in 1993 voted for Tofa).

The first and only time yorubas aligned with the North and left the opposition shadow to come mainstream was in 2015. But u guys have bn doing it since 1959 when Zik aligned with Balewa to form the central govt even when Awolowo was willing to work with Zik for both of them to get majority and form the central govt.

The Igbo-yoruba political alliance to identify and present a formidable and great candidate is crucial to Nigeria's growth, but it will likely never happen and the North knows how to play with that divide to perpetuate power. And if their candidate messes things up, by the time power comes back to the south they will scream about the problems on ground without talking about the root cause while the other half of the south aligns with them to get them back in power. That is the game for 2027 and u are about to be used again
Come o. You are quoting the wrong person.

If you see GEJ as one of yours then yorubas voted for him...just a reminder
We don't consider south south as Igbos. You have your five states. We will vote a reasonable Igbo too at the right time ( definitely not the next election) if they seek alliance with us and if there is no better candidate.

We have voted everyone in Nigeria that we believe is good for the country at any point in time. ONLY IGBOS HAVE CONSIDERED THEMSELVES TO BE ENEMIES when we have nothing personal against them but that is their business.

Once again, you were the one that started by saying you wanted to pay back . I only reminded you that you have no such leverage. You never voted us anyway and we don't expect you to vote for us next election. INFACT, YOU HAVE REALLY OPENED THE EYES of Yorubas to tribalism over the attack on the tribe post 2023. You won't understand until 2027.

Nevertheless, this is politics. At the right time with the right candidate and with a mutual alliance, we will vote Igbo if needed.

the SW started it after they sold good luck Jonathan their southern brother.,is time for SS and SE to pay them back.,
How? South east has never supported SW. There is nothing to pay back. Before you say thrash let me tell you history

1) SE voted against Awolowo (let us agree ekwueme your son was the VP of shagari so you tribalisticaly voted your son).

2) They voted against Abiola despite his worldwide appeal. Abiola won only Anambra and Tofa won three states in the east.

2) SE voted against Olu falae, the Yoruba candidate ( The lies your people used to tell themselves is that they voted A yoruba man,Obasanjo. The truth is that they had no choice. only two yoruba candidates on the ballot.

3) They Voted against TINUBU.

Finally, South east has always VOTED PDP because the party was founded by EKWUEME before the alliance of 1999. They assumed that EKWUEME had the best chance of becoming president eventually through that party.

South west is not expecting any pay back from south east. We have never been In political alliance. It is not going to change anytime soon

Direct your message to your fathers and brothers that are shouting Biafra all over. They are the ones living in the past. If you want to forget the past, stop disturbing our space with your irritating Biafra. If you want to go ahead with your Biafra, you have to acknowledge your errors of the past and use that leverage for the future.

To undo the harm your forefather AZIKWE did to to your agitation for Biafra, you need to go cap in hand to beg lawmakers all over the country so that you can win majority votes in both national legislature and then 2/3 majority in more than 24 states which will obviously include the Emilokans. This will upturn the CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISION INSERTED BY YOUR FOREFATHER, AZIKWE.

You can now contribute the IGR in your five states to INEC to conduct referendum if unknown gunmen will allow you.

After that, you can FACE THE FUTURE in your miserable five states Biafra, Nna.

I doubt if you are educated? A lot of landlocked countries are doing better than Nigeria that has a large access to sea.
Emotions and sentiment can't change reality. Just get use to it that Igbos are the powerhouse of the country.
No Igbo speaking communities will be left behind.
Maybe, you are looking for somebody to oppress and troll when Igbos leave.
Any Igbo speaking community that will be left behind is own it's own.
See what is happening to middle belt region being attacked by barbarians and yet those northern majority tribe can't save them.
Same will happen to any Igbo speaking communities that will be left behind. They are better off with their brothers in the south east.
We live in a very mischievous and wicked world.
Leave the Igbos and stick to your region. I don't really understand why poke nosing into other people's matter?
Focus on developing your region. Asaba people were killed during the civil war and you tell them that they are not Igbos?
You guys need to stop these childish trolling, its just meaningless trying to act as an agent of division.
The first thing they will say is that you are not educated or that you are yet to eat. Very irritating set of people that brags like empty drums.

Why are you fighting for SS? Can't they agitate for Biafra themselves f they want it?
Igbo speaking?

You guys are so delusional. So the yoruba speaking Brazilians... we should go and force them to join Nigeria because they speak Yoruba? The yoruba speaking part of Benin republic ? Maybe Nigeria should demand referendum in cotonue so they can become Nigerians. What about yoruba speaking part of delta? Very irrational people

I won't delve into the history of the civil war when you used a yoruba man , Banjo to capture Benin and he wanted a bini man to become the military administrator but Ojukwu installed a core Igbo to dominate over the people. The allegiance of the people quickly changed and ojukwu lost Benin. You guys are so greedy and selfish.

Middle belts are being attacked by barbarians? Who is attacking you in SE? Unknown gunmen. So they should run away from fulani herdsmen and ends up with UGM?

When you are truly ready for your Biafra, your landlocked five states will negotiate with lawmakers from all over the country include 2/3 majority in 2/3 house of assemblies all over the country including the Emilokans...Your five states will use your monthly allocation for referendum and leave with your cursed potopoto land. Nothing more than your five states

You guys are only smart by half..I thought you said only Lagos has streetlights. I've challenged you to post any of my comments that has to do your 2023 Presidential election and Peter Obi's victory or whatever. You've been unable to do so. Like I said earlier, if truly the result of the election tribunal reflected the true choice of the people, there would b have been jubilation at least in majority of the contraption. The absence of this jubilation and some obvious irregularities of the electioneering process showed that the result of the tribunal wasn't the true will of the people. I care less about Nigeria though which means the result didn't surprise me one bit.
Like I'll always say; enjoy your Nigeria while crying "ebi npawa".
When we say you guys are stupid, it is usually an understatement..Jubilation over the result of tribunal? Who did not know that the petition was useless and irresponsible? A petition that says Abuja votes were more important than the whole of Nigeria. Only delusional Ipob members like you believed anything could come of out of such a shameful petition. We don't need to jubilate. Obi never claimed he won. What would be jubilation about?

Moreover, show me a video of south west people jubilating over street lights like your people were doing in Aba in 2024. We don't jubilate over nonsense. The election was over. We don't live in the past like you guys.

That Tunubu is better than obi does not mean he is an angel that will perform miracle. Why should I jubilate? Only Ipob that belived a failed governor whose only achievement was hero beer is their saviour can jubilate. We don't jubilate over nonsense

You can say it a again and again. You're indeed very stupid. Does the inability of your court to indict Mazi Nnamdi Kanu automatically grant them goodwill and credits their result a fair judgement? As you know, all cases aren't exactly alike with some being more technical with lesser rooms for manipulation. The same Nigerian courts have been pushing and tossing his case from pillar to post while holding an innocent man in detention for over 3years. Is that the idea of justice in your head?
In case you don't know, the Nigerian court currently has a very poor rating internationally which was further compounded by that same result of the election tribunal. A result from them that didn't see the masses jubilating in the streets tells the world the truth and truncation of justice they need to know.
A goat thinks better than you. If not, you won't write the trash you wrote here.
I just want you to display your full madness here. You claimed you didn't say anything about the election tribunal. You are here saying the election tribunal truncated justice. you think igbos are Yoruba that can be bought during elections with a cup of rice.,you can see from past elections that we cannot be bought, whatever we want we stick to it.,we wanted Jonathan and despite everything Bihari did to win us we don’t vote him, same with tinubu with all his money he still lost in the east.,igbos no be Yoruba bro
Foolish statement. Yoruba were bought by their own son? You guys are so delusional. You voted for your son, it is because you were not bought. Yoruba did the same, it is because they were bought. This is the beginning of madness
