Even if we use the homicide rate which is different from actual reported homicide, total for Nigeria is still around 35 thousand for our population. Deep down? Ive been to SA multiple times. I have girlfriends all over SA. No, they are not living better than Nigerians.. Many times, ive had to support my girlfriend with electricity money even though she lives with mum and siblings aged between 50 and 34, many of them with their kids, no husbands etc right there in Langa. This is a scheme riddled with fraud. It is not new. Dont waste your time. The primary mortgage institutions will collect the loan, they wont give you..rather they will use it to lend you a loan at their own rate. Years ago, Federal mortgage bank used to publish the names of the beneficiaries each month in newapapers. They stopped it because it was exposing the fraud of the primary mortgage institutions.

Let me tell you my experience 14years ago. I applied through RESORT SAVINGS AND LOANS for 15 million. Resort said it would take up to a year to come out. Meanwhile, they would give me a bridge loan at 25% per annum for a bridge loan 10 million naira while waitimg for the NHF to approve my original loan. Once NHF approves, they would use the money to pay up their own and i would revert to 6% interest per annum Guess what happened?

Resort gave me the bridge loan of 10million and i used the C of O of the property bought as collateral. l finished paying the loan in one year, the NHF did not come out till today . But to tell you it was a lie...THEY SAID THE C OF O was missing. We eventually settled out of court, they gave me money to do a new C of O but till today, Resort savings and loans did not disburse the NHF loan till today. They are still waiting for approval.

Just last week, they shot the baby daddy of her sister openly in his shop. They buried him last week. I.was on video call with her when it happened. You dont know how the law works. The employer is not the prosecutor. It is the state. It is a criminal case. The employer only reported to the police. It is the duty of the police to charge or not charge to court based on available evidence.

You were not there. You dont know what evidence police were presenting in court. You dont know the investigation they carried out. Sometimes, cases get stuck because witnesses fail to show up. They keep adjourning the case.

If your lawyer can convince the court prosecutor is not diligent, they throw the case away, not because he is not guilty but for lack of diligence. There is nothing like power play with the employer here. Thats not the business of the judge. Court dont work like that

The way I understand this works is that the Police will investigate and charge this to a competent Court and evidences will be presented. Based on this, judgement is passed.

And I think he can sue them if after three years they did not follow up with the case nor notify the authority of discontinuing with the case.

And you think the story is true? Of course that is the story of the accused. The story of the employer will be different.

And you seem not to understand something. It is not the job of the employer to prosecute or follow up a case . It is a criminal case. It is the state versus the accused. You cant blame the employer if police didnt follow up .

And it is also not thr fault of the police. Let us assume the police abadons the case, you only need to approach the court through your lawyer and get the case dismissed. All these are no grounds for suing anyone.

Only a primary school lawyer will accept the case. The employer is also a victim here .
Property was stolen, they reported to police and police charged the culprit to court based on their investigation. Did the employer take the laws into their own hands? That there was no sufficient evidence to convict does not mean he didnt steal it.

Who will buy back the inverter now? Maybe the business even folded up because of the theft. So on what basis will you sue the employer? For reporting their stolen item to the police? So they should have kept quiet and congratulated the staff for stealing the property?


That police lost a case is not a sufficient ground to sue them. They are doing their jobs.

Justice has been done. He is freed because there was no evidence. Justice does not equate to innocence.

You are only partially correct. That they could not prove it beyond reasonable doubt that he stole doesnt mean he didnt steal it. You cant prosecute the police because they lost. They presented what they assumed was a sufficient evidence but the Judge didnt agree. No crime was commited by the police or the employer. They cant judge their own case and they didnt take laws into thier own hands. They approached the court .

Are you people saying everytime the police lose a case in court, it means they are criminals and should be sued?
