TheOldGods:you are definitely reading a different act from this one. Where did it state that you must upload. Yes… collation means you gather all the votes together. So whatever the presiding officer collated , recorded and transmitted ( which can be on paper or electronically while transmission can be done electronically or through INEC agents) must tally with the one to be announced. What is so difficult in that? We know Inec promised to upload electronically… mark the word promise… now they have technical glitch and they resorted to manual collation, recording and transmission…. It is not strictly illegal. It may not be transparent enough for you but a technical glitch does not discriminate between Election Day and Xmas day. It can happen anytime |
TheOldGods:you need to read the act well. Recorded and transmitted. It doesn’t have to be electronically recorded neither must it be transmitted electronically. Just read the act you sent again. |
TheOldGods:The election was actually rigged. Very unfair. Imagine this kind of result This was how the election was rigged in favor of Tinubu EKITI STATE ---- RIGGED APC - 201,494 PDP - 89,554 LP - 11,397 NNPP - 264 ENUGU STATE -- FREE AND FAIR APC: 4,772 PDP: 15,749 NNPP: 1,808 LP: 428,640 |
Mitsurugi:What duty of care? The school had a nurse on duty who stated the girl was dead on the spot but she couldn’t certify her dead because she is a nurse. Do we have paramedics in Nigeria? Where are they trained? All the people acting as paramedics in Nigeria are nurses. What do you mean by duty if care? You just heard the term and you are running agog with it. In standard setting, the people around would only initiate BLS protocol and call for help with ambulance. The ambulance would be there within five minutes. For your information, it is govt that ensures such ambulances are readily available. What the school owe them they did… they had a nurse who tried to resuscitate. They took her to the closest medical center. So tell me, what do you mean by duty of care for someone that suddenly arrested? They can’t do beyond what the system allows… even if they got her to hospital alive and she needed an immediate catheterization, it won’t be available anyway . Yes, we all need a scape goat in things like this… until you see the result of the autopsy, you are just spewing childish trash about duty of care. |
Mitsurugi:So if a student dies in Canada, they will close the school ? you guys just sit down at home and type rubbish. This is not like a kind of gun shooting . She actually slumped during activities...most likely she had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The first thing that needs to be done is autopsy. You are all saying the school should have medical equipment on site. Yes, that is the ideal situation. The school is in Nigeria. We all saw senators slumped at the national assembly and no single defibrillator was in sight. No one skilled in ACLS was on the scene. It is an unfortunate incident that should be investigated by autopsy and probably inquest but not by shutting down the school. No such thing will happen in Canada or America. They don't close down schools when someone slumps and die |
siofra:who is stopping you from withdrawing your own at night? How much is ATM dispensing? Assuming it is even true, someone will risk his life to get money at night, not minding kidnappers and other risks, sacrificing his sleep while you are getting serviced by your own hubby and you expect him or her to give you for free? Who do you think is the thief here? |
jeromestarks:You are one of the last remaining problem of Nigeria. You have the effrontery to say Buhari is trying his best and then blame the innocent pos agent that gave you money for a paltry 800 naira. How much should she collect? My sister had to wrap money in towel and put it in DHL to send to her children in school when they couldn’t get money to spend. What is wrong with you? Transfer is not working. Queue on ATM yet it is the POs guy that collected 800 naira that is your problem. What is wrong with our youth? Defending an old man that is visibly ruining OUR economy while abusing a fellow youth that is on the road for 800 naira to meet his daily needs. |
We4all:Nobody was responsible for the death of your sister. You will be blaming your failures on people. Must someone be responsible for your sisters death? Since you know so much about Medicine that you already know who killed your sister, why didnt you take care of your sister yourself and leave the innocent people alone ? |
Shokoloko:https://contelawyers.ca/pool-know-rules-swimming-pool-safety-liability/ Simple Google search will tell you that in canada...the home owner will be held liable. Check the link above. Shokoloko:Like leaving open pools without child guard at home while raising a toddler? Which part of canada are you? Both the nanny and Davido will be charged by now |
Moymoy:which Ukraine invasion? With the whole of Europe and USA providing artillery and intelligence, they still harnessed four regions. World War 2 tanks that the whole of Europe and America could not defeat since February. America spent more on Ukraine in five months than all the money they spent on Afghanistan in five years according to official data. |
MALIGNANTGuest:You sat down in your house and you are passing professional judgement on a case you know absolutely nothing about. You are just speaking gibberish like someone that was recently introduced to medical terminologies in pre clinical school . 1) How did you know he was in collapse? Do you know wether there was raised intracranial pressure as a result of head injury? Of course one of the ways to lower Raised IOC without lowering systemic pressure is a reversed trendelenburg position. 2) Did you bother checking the temperature? Do you even know wether he was actually feverish ? All these online warriors self. Nevertheless, I just answered you because you are moving purulent stuffs online. I don't think those are the reasons the guy was in that awkward position. I think stretcher was not available at that moment to move him. Paucity of equipment. So many things were wrong but not all these your ignorant display of medical knowledge. |
JuanDeDios:Very possible scenarios. However , they were wrong if they didn't inform the family about injuries sustained at birth and that is a plausible ground for serious litigation. |
JuanDeDios:Yes terrible things can be done by anyone including doctors or even pope. You see, the death of a day old baby can't be displayed for family members to be visiting.. They don't need knife for a day old baby. The baby quickly becomes macerated. They are soft. Infact, the baby you were talking about probably became macerated and you assumed the hospital disfigured it. The body starts peeling. Family members can easily pull the nose and it becomes torn. Finally, in the case you were talking about, if the baby died inside and was already macerated, if the nurses delivered it per vagina, the process of pulling can deform the baby ( more common than you think in IUFD) Usually, the family members are always called to see the baby and everything before they pack the baby. In Nigeria, we have so many late presentations with babies dying inside the womb and seriously macerated with the bodies peeled. IF IT WAS DISCOVERED IMMEDIATELY AND THE HOSPITAL HAS NO EXPLANATION, I WILL AGREE WITH YOU. COMING BACK AFTER 24HRS, Without asking the hospital to explain what happened first with police is enough for me to make my conclusion. Like you said, I can't take away your own cultural experience so I agree with you. Cheers |
JuanDeDios:There is no culture that dresses a dead fetus . None in Nigeria. They can do burial ceremony for a 6 months old in some cultures but never a dead fetus. You are telling me I am wrong in a profession I spent fifteen years practicing in nigeria. I can tell you what a patient will do ahead. Without any iota of exaggeration, I've attended to the deliveries of more than 20,000 babies in Nigeria . I have seen any culture you can imagine. I worked in the rural North, worked in lagos, worked for government, worked in the military hospital, worked in private hospitals, owned a clinic and you still think I wouldn't know cultures about dead fetus. The parents were lying. This is an old trick I've seen more than once. Ask the hospital....they refused to release the dead fetus till they paid. Nigerians assume once the relative is dead, the hospital shouldn't collect money .You become their enemy when you ask them to clear their bills. |
JuanDeDios:Sit where? You are telling lies. We are talking of a one day old baby that never lived here. This is not a child. This is a baby that died at the point of birth. I practiced for fifteen years as a doctor before leaving Nigeria, I have never seen anyone that ever ever dressed a day old baby ( dead fetus) They commonly put then inside polythene bag and bury them. Some people even throw them away. Hospitals don't even need to hide to steal eyes if it is for one day old baby. Many parents beg you that they don't know what to do with it that you should help them to dispose it, we always refused. Stop all these bandwagon crucifixion of professionals working hard to save. I CAN TELL YOU FOR FREE....THE HOSPITAL INSISTED ON BALANCE PAYMENT BEFORE DISCHARGE. They came back to punish them. This is an old trick to punish hospital. The police know but they will extort them before releasing them. |
oz4real83:Rather, I am the one that will dispense the drug for you. We have so many online ignoramus in that yeye country. Fools like you that never bothered to listen to the other side of the story. You have never seen a dead fetus in your life not to talk of a probably macerated baby for over 24hrs and they now brought it claiming the eyes and the noses were gorged out and you ran with it without reasonable line of questioning. The money you were supposed to use to go to school you used it to buy android and started typing rubbish early in the morning. |
kumbhuru:They are not quacks. They are now regularly employed in UK as healthcare assistants. I mean the so called auxiliary nurses from Nigeria. I know at least three that has migrated to UK as hospital support worker with NHS. They are part of the team. When you get out of the country, you will be humbled. Everyone is important. You don't need to call anyone quack. We call them auxiliary nurses in Nigeria, they call them support worker abroad. The govt is the one that has failed to regulate the sector so that no one go above his or her limit. Many of the so-called registered nurses do what is beyond them in Nigeria making them quacks too...in your language. |
oz4real83:Stop saying thrash. After 24hrs, did they want to dress the fetus that now made them to examine the fetus? Have you seen a dead fetus before to know how it looks? The hospital most likely insisted on balance payment before releasing them. They came back devilishly to punish them. These are the reasons hospitals insist on deposits and you people will be making mouth like fools that Nigerian doctors like money in Emergencies. |
Lies. The hospital probably insisted on their balance payment before releasing the dead baby. As a punishment, they probably went to remove those organs themselves. Why didn't they bury the fetus for close to 24hrs? Were they going to do burial ceremony or what? They know Nigerians will quickly rush to blame the hospital. No wonder UK registered 200 Nigerian doctors in just one month. Very soon, everyone will run away. Make una dey frustrate all your professionals out. |

Very easy scenario. The way you know wether your question is inappropriate is if there is only one expected answer. Let me ask you this question. If the MD answered and say, NO, WE DONT WORK AS TEAM, what would you say? At that moment, you would probably know you failed the interview because that would be a sarcastic answer. Why ask a question you know the answer can't possibly be No? |
Witnesstony28:Run HIV, treponema test for syphilis, First pass urine for Chlamydia and gonorhea NAAT and Hepatitis B |
olajide21:Says a Jidahist whose 40percent of posts on nairaland is against Christianity. Hypocrite. My joy is that the bullet of Boko Haram can't always differentiate between Muslims and christians so whatever evil you wish christians will still come visiting on you |
aariwa:in as much as I would prefer Obi to win, you are obviously a joker, more like a comedian.. However, if you are serious and what you wrote here is not comedy.. then you better apply to Disneyland. You will be a good director in their fantasyland. This is hilarious |
arantess:I know.... that was what we were calling him |
My best world Cup. I remember their match against turkey with that one eyed goal keeper. It was one hell of a tournament. Can I forget Ronaldinho goal against england with that free kick? Or the injury of beckam prior to the world cup? Or the goal of Larson against Nigeria or the Bleep up of Argentina team with their star studded team or the surprise of the tournament.....SENEGAL !!!! Whaoh....I need that tournament back. The beginning of fans area for watching football outside of stadium. |
Yeyeoldman:You are the one that is likely daft here. Inferiority complex has killed your generation. The first sentence you concluded your country men are daft. The next sentence you concluded the British can't be stupid. What is wrong with you? You are a human being like them. Stop this worship of anything in white colour. You are also made in the beautiful image of God. Even the brother of the boy said he is 25yrs. His BVN done since 2019 showed he is 22yrs but the British can't be stupid while Nigerians are daft. Grow up |
Thieves that go at night to withdraw money when people are few then come and charge ridiculous fees. Nonsense!
