Many Nigerians were happy when we learned of Gov Ambode's world press conference slated for 2pm today. Although it started an hour late, We waited Patiently.
Lagos is what it is today because the governor of Lagos is not known for politicking. While Asiwaju does the politicking, the governor of Lagos concentrates on discharging his duties.
My take
We expected Ambode to remind the world of his achievements in the past four years and present his blueprint for the next four years.

The press conference was nothing but a charade, The calm and collected governor of Lagos State resorted to attack.

Ambode threw caution to the wind when he accused his opponent of camping thugs to disrupt the electoral process, having mental issues and a former detainee in the United States for using fake dollar.
He knew all these, yet he appointed him to one of the most sensitive agencies in Lagos State.

Ambode's outburst will surely affect Lagos goodwill as intending investors will rather wait to see to the end of this "war"as Ambode tagged it. Existing investors are already withdrawing from PPP agreement with Lagos.

Ambode should mind his utterances and actions at this stage, the last time I checked, there's no comprehensive definition of gross misconduct in our extant laws. The Lagos House of Assembly is by the side watching like "Fayose the bat".

Finally, from the recent forecast of the CBN, Nigeria's economy may like enter into reccesion soon. Should the economy of Lagos bleed, we will officially dive into reccesion courtesy of the battle for Lagos.
