Here are some pictures i got of the new remodeled Enugu international airport commissioned by Mr president on 18 may 2013. It is not all the best but at least we have something now and we can fly to Enugu direct instead of Lagos and making Lagos less busy. Enjoy

The Enugu airport was commissioned by Mr President, yet not even a single picture did i see on the net after i have searched and searched and searched. What is really happening in this country? Where re the press? my ppl in NL, if anyone has gotten pix of the new terminal building in which they said that international flight will start flying to from next month, plz do well to post it here.

chiboyz: @spyder880 for the properties at the zoo estate, is it possible to make payment for up to half the value of the property and pay the rest over 3yrs? The lands you mentioned at old independence layout, are they in built up areas? Can u at least show some pictures of the zoo estate ad I am not furtunate to be able to visit the place myself even though I have an idea where it is. Pllease your quick resppnse will be appreciated as the mrs is also very intrested and it is mostly with her help that I can make it happen. Chiboys, Here is not where you 2 should discuss business. if you want to talk business with spyder, ask him for his phone no or email. if everyone keep making biz arrangements here, you can't imagine what these place will look like. Am not against you biz with him but find alternative. these place is all about development for the south east state of enugu expecially for ppl who re not in the city or country.

Geminilove: Henrychubayo, My brotha, what i got was a police report it was a swore testimony that i am of good character and that my passport hard been stolen/lost etc.

What iNVICTUSobi needed is not police report, In UK we call it a CRB(Criminal Record Check)so he needed a police clearance check report

Well the only thing i know is that Police report can only be obtained in Police station in Alagbon or there headoffices in other states and with only your passport photograph, the bio-page of your current international passport, finger prints. i have done that more than 3 times.

the fine is too poor. it can never stop the guy from driving it again. in such cases, the fine should have been 50,000 or that one month imprisonment. Anybody can pay 1000. instead of giving him a fine of 1000, i suggest he should have been giving a warning and asked that if he does that again, he will be imprisoned with no option of fine.

Geminilove: It cost me me 2k from Ikeja high court lots of guys outside doing it there. I had lost my e-passport and needed asap that was end of last year. it was done within a hour. All I needed was two photos and what i needed fo the report to say.

my sister, that is not police report. i think what you did is called police extract required to testify that u lost something. Police report or character report is a document showing you are not convicted or convected of any offense in Nigeria. In other words, you can call it criminal or offense report if you had done any.

Spyder my brother, how is the airport bypass road now? Also they said the actual airport will be ready by April, what is the stage now? Anyone with latest pix, plz post immediately. We are eagerly waiting because MMA lagos is very tiresome for many.

kma: Good morning house.How is everyone.pls I need u all to inform me and advise me.I need to know what is happening.I am a medical doctor and I just finished my internship in Luth on the 31st of jan.I submitted a south african visiting visa application since the 20th of feb but still no response.the following were the documents I submitted.
1.My passport.got a new one to expiere in 2017.d last one was to expire in april 2014 but had to renew it as it has rusts from staplers on it and I need the new one to apply for a permit.the 2 old passports I attached both had a uk visa on each as I've been to the uk twice.
2.Hotel reservation from 15th to 27th april.I attached the paid reservation I did.
3.Flight reservation with south african airways.
4.Yellow card for port health authority ikeja
5.My letter of introduction I was given from the hospital when I was an intern.
6.A letter of refernce from my doctor's association in the hospital.
7.My 6 month gtb bank statement.
8.My payslips wen I was in luth.
Also my uncle who has been taking care of me for 20 years attached the following.
1.Letter of sponsorship on my behalf.
2.His company's bank statement with skye and uba and letters from each bank backing them up.
3.His personal account statement with skye.
4.his personal count statement with barclay bank in uk.
5.His Cirt of incorporation of his company.
6.His daughter(my cousin's) cirtificate as an extra evidence as she schooled in nelson mandela metropolitan uni,south africa from 2005 to 2012.this was to show that he and his daughter have been to south african on a number of occasions and have returned.

With all these,I didn't expect the visa will take long.I ve just 2 weeks before the departure date.pls I need u all to scrutinize the attached documents.I'm a bit worried I may be denied.they are all very genuine documents.

Next time, don't make ur application a complex one. Those documents for you that u submitted should be enough to grant you a visiting visa. You are qualified for it. Submitting your uncle documentations makes the application a complex one. Even though you will get the visa, but submitting those document will make your case go thru additional scrutiny because it may seem you are incapable of taking care of your self and one going for a visit is ought to be ok to take care of himself. Just my advise

THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT NIGERIA HAS BECOME A COUNTRY FOR FRUADSTERS AND THEY ARE TAKING THE ADVANTAGE OF THOSE WHO DESPERATELY WANT TO LEAVE NIJA. HERE IN SOUTH AFRICA, I BROWSE ONLINE OF A SMALL GROUP OF WHITE GUYS THAT OPEN A COMPANY AND GETTING VISAS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE CHANCE TO APPLY THEMSELVES. I WENT THERE WITH MY BROTHER AND THEY TOOK HIS PASSPORT AND OTHER DOCUMENT AND APPLIED FOR HIM AND HE GOT SPANISH SCHENGEN VISA. THE EVEN TOOK NOT MORE THAN 30,000 IF CONVERTED IN NIARA.IF WE HAVE SUCH TRUSTED ORG IN NIGERIA, FRAUD AND CHETTING WILL REDUCE A BIT

I FORGOT TO SAY THAT I WENT THERE ALONE ONE DAY AND SAW A NIGERIA WHO COLLECT PASSPORT OF PEOPLE AND DROP IT FOR THIS PEOPLE TO GET VISA FOR THEM. AFTER THAT, HE CHARGE THEM A BIG AMOUNT.

Waleabimbola: It was handled by an immigration lawyer here, all he collected from me is my passport data page, wedding certificate, my valid work permit....and sum of 6000rand
My wife and daughter were given 5 years accompany spouse and accompany parent permit respectively.

Waleabimbola: It's much easier if she comes into south Africa as a visitor and then she applied for accompany spouse...within 2 weeks it will be approved.

Good day friends. I just want to know where my wife can apply for Accompany Spouse Permit to join me here in SA. Is there anyone here who have recently applied for the permit and got it approved? What documents did you submit? How long did it take? I need urgent response. My resident status is on WORK PERMIT 5 YEARS.

I fear south African police a lot. This guys are under paid and can do anything to get their desires. As a Nigerian, i always try to be polite to them nor matter what. Just this night, 10 police officers are in the house of a fellow Nigerian. Am hoping to get the full gist tomorrow. But i just marvel at the rte of honor and respect they give the whites here but if u are black, forget it cause ur case is a done deal. A country where the police openly shot and killed more than 50 of the people openly and go free, people who are protesting for increment in their salary, people who had no weapons like the police do. There is nothing that can not happen here. Foreigners should just take note
