Our common sense senator that lacks common sense.
Who can point out one this guy has done for the people he represents.
we are talking about fashion and u are talking about politics. Are u his constituent? No! We the people of Bayelsa east love him and that's what matters. If u can bring forth ur senator for comparison, I will send u 1gb to start the process here with u.

You did not add my senator. Senator Foster Ogola who is representing Bayelsa west is no longer in the good books of Gov Dickson for reasons best known to the governor (political though). And he(Dickson) has already anointed his commissioner for works in the state for his replacement come 2019

An African proverb states that, "one shouldn't swallow poison because he doesn't want to spit and offend people".
If what u read above makes me a fool, then I would wish u become one for ur own good. Ur reply is induced by ethnic inclination while mine was induced by rationality. U are an advocate of violence, while I'm an advocate of morality. You came to insult n I came to inform and enlighten..... I simply like this kind of foolishness

This is where the international community does not agree with Nigeria, threat of violence is not violence its self. You cannot be violent with just your mouth alone. Making threats is saying something you have not yet done. So how can you be accused of something you have not yet done?

If making threats is terrorism then we are all terrorists because there isn't anyone out there who hasn't made threats before
So disrupting commercial activities, forcefully stopping people moving around and destroying properties that belongs to corporate bodies and individuals to achieve a political gain is really fair and okay by u to be practiced in any sane society.

Then it means you don't know what a terrorist group is. Ask your self a question, why do you think that a country like America that has fought high level terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeeda would come out to say IPOB is not a terrorist organisation? Or you think America doesn't know what they are doing any more?

The reason why America does not consider IPOB to be a terrorist organisation is because IPOB is not using violence to achieve Biafra. IPOB may have had one or two clashes with Police or Army that turned violent but thats a different thing that hapoens all over the world. Violence and the threat to use violence are not the same thing. Violence must be an action, it cannot be mere words alone. If I say I will Rob a bank but I never carried it out, am I a Bank Robber? Of course not. So if a person, or group, threatens to be violent, but they never carried it out, they cannot be called terrorists.

The Bus you said was damaged by IPOB, if true, is no more than a case of vandalisation
I knew questions like this would come, that was the reason I defined terrorism in clear terms. Unless you can explain it better, terrorism also involves not just the acts of violence but also includes threats to do so. From what happened today, it's clear that they did not just give threats but but actually got violent and destroyed properties that belongs to a corporate body. The levels of operation may not be as high as book haram or any high rated terrorist group before they will be described so.

Op, u can lie ehh, I'm. Based in Port Harcourt, there is no report of violence in any part of the city. The sit at home order was not even as successful as it used to be, except at ikokwu motor parts market that is dominated by igbos. Every part of the city is peaceful.
The bus which supposed to convey staffs from Oyigbo axis is what u are seeing up there. You can call anybody you know to confirm. Why should I lie?

Yorobar moozlem, we know IPOB is a "terrorist" group but Fulani herdsmen and Baddo skull miners in your village are church societies wink cheesy
This is not about Yoruba or Ibo but about infringement of fundamental human right and blatant acts of violence.
I'm not against IBO's having an independent nation but not in support of the violence approach. Like I said earlier, I'm a Niger Deltan n not a Yoruba or IBO son

Politics / IPOB Is A Terrorist Group, This Is My Reason. by Henryjr(m): 8:56am On Sep 14, 2018
What is terrorism?
Terrorism is the calculated use of violence or threats of violence against civilians in order to attain goals that are political, religious or ideological in nature.

Today, being the 14th of September has been declared " a sit at home day", by Ipob group who has been agitating for the sovereign state of Biafra. The sit at home order given by the group was not just a threat to commercial activities but was actually a promise to use violence against other citizens of the nation. The rights due to the people of Nigeria has literally been taken away by the despicable activities of Biafra in most parts of SE and SS zones of the country.

In particular, my drive to term them a terrorist group is as a result of what happened in Port Harcourt where our staff bus was attacked and damaged by the IPOB group . If they wants to take such an action, I see no reason why the security agencies will not resist them in whatever way possible in defending the rights of Nigerians.

What's your take?

Because of people like u, Southern Ijaw election couldn't hold as scheduled. U maimed n killed each other for Sylva(APC) and Dickson(PDP) who only cared about leveraging on the illiteracy n joblessness of the youths to achieve their insatiable selfish interests.

OKOWA COMMENDS DICKSON FOR LEADING CAMPAIGN FOR TRUE FEDERALISM, RESTRUCTURING

The Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, described his Bayelsa counterpart, His Excellency, the Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, a great leader providing the requisite leadership in the campaign for equitable, free and just Nigerian Federation.

Okowa commended Governor Dickson for providing leadership in the ongoing campaign for true federalism, devolution of powers and a restructured Nigerian federalism.

Okowa said that the decision of Gov Dickson to mobilize the governors of the South South geopolitical zone to demand the restructuring of the country was worthy of commendation by all.

The Delta State Governor made the comment while speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the Sapele Ultra Mordern Market, Sapele on Tuesday.

The 1500 shop ultra modern market project and the dualised access road to Jesse, in Ethiope West Local Government Area were commissioned by Governor Dickson who is chairman of the South South Governors’ Forum.

Governor Dickson said that the road project and the 1500-shop ultra mordern market which were started by former Governor James Ibori and completed by Governor Okowa clearly showed the commitment and Okowa to service delivery.

The Governor Who commended Ibori for the initiative also commended Okowa for his dedication and prudence management of resources to actualize completion of road projects as a first term governor in a period of economic recession.

He said, “I have heard about the performance of the governor in Delta, I have also read about the Great works of Okowa. Today is a testimony of that fact. You have a performing governor in Okowa, a shinning star. The projects are testimonies to his commitment to service delivery and his prudence.

“For the past four years Okowa has been performing in spite of the recession in his first term. This means that the second tenure is beckoning.

The Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, his Deputy Governor oBarr. Kingsley Otuaro, former Governor, Chief James Ibori, traditional rulers and top government officials and elders from both states attended the ceremonies.
