@ Yeepa It appears to me as if you don't really know what you are talking about as the Governor's wife, two ministers , some commisioners and several other people are christians so who are the leaders you were referring to. If you haven't got anything to say/type, it's better you just read on. It beats me that you seem to pick on the islamised issue without addressing the issue of the state being the most underdeveloped in her ranks. Yeepa i am from that state and it pains me that we are being robbed of our heritage because of certain individuals. We are the largest ethnic group in the state Igbominas yet we are discrimanted against, Saraki's son is the governor and the daughter is in the NA So the state is a family affair abi Well like i said earlier the generation that will restore Kwara as one of the yoruba states and to her proper position has been born, Watch out, |
1. You remove wrapper from your gifts carefully, so that you can reuse the wrapper. 2. You call a person you've never met before uncle or aunt. 3. More than 90% of the music CD's and cassettes in your home are illegal copies 4. Your garage is always full of stuff because you never throw anything away, just in case you need it someday.(a gum boot without a partner and the baby walker - aby's now 12 and you are 48) 5. You have a collection of miniature shampoo bottle from your stays at hotels. (Go cool, Sweet heart, African pride, ) 6. You have almost always carried overweight baggage when traveling by plane. 7. If a store has a limit on the quantity of a product, then each member of the family will join separate queues to purchase the maximum quantity possible. (sugar, soap, rice, cooking fat etc during old good days) 8. All children have annoying nicknames. 9. Nobody in your family informs you that they are coming over for a visit. (Uncle, wife, sis-in-law, two nephews and a neighbour) have camped at home. 10. You stuff your pockets with, mints and toothpicks at restaurants. ( Murray mints, wrappers, and salt shakers!) 11. Your mother has a minor disagreement with her sister and does not talk to her for 10 years. 12. You only make telephone calls at a cheaper rate at night (especially beepers). If possible you will finish calling at Office. 13. You never have less than 20 people to meet you at the airport or see you off even if it is a local flight. 14. You keep changing your Internet Service Provide because the first month is free. (I know some people O!, ) 15. Office supplies mysteriously find their way to your home. (Yes, staple machine, office pins, punch machine, cello tapes, post-its, A-4 papers, etc.) 16. When you are young, your parents buy you clothes and shoes at least two sizes too big so that they would last longer. 17. A bunch of Rolled Soft papers found at your home, seems gathered from Office and Restaurants. Note: Pass it on to other Africans, so they can know what truly makes them African. |

MY PEOPLE THE WORST GOVERNOR IS SARAKI OF KWARA MY REASONS: MAKE SURE THE STATE IS ISLAMISED AND THE POEPLE THINKING THEY ARE FROM THE NORTH THEREBY GIVING STIPENDS TO THEM EVERY FRIDAY AND AS IN ISLAM OPPOSSING THE LEADERS IS PROHIBITED SO NOBODY CAN QUESTION HIM AS HE AND HIS FATHER LOOTS THE TREASURY ANYONE THAT COMPLAINS DIES MYSTERIOUSLY ALSO DO SOME ABRACADABRA WITH THE WHITE FARMERS AND LIE TO EVERYONE THAT WE ARE NOW AN AGRICULTURAL GIANT CRAZY FATHER AND SON AM SURE THEY ARE GROOMING THE GRANDSON TO TAKE OVER IN 2007 BUT WE HAVE A SUPRISE FOR THEM THE FUTURE OF KWARA HAS BEEN SETTLED, |
I graduated from Daystar Leadership Academy last Saturday. Please let's keep in touch through this forum. I am Henry Ajayi. |
So they still discriminate on HND and State University when the boss in the bank attended Ekpoma!!! They should hold their bank i sent my CV and it came back as failure delivery abeg there are other banks jare, |
Thanks man i really appreciate your response i will do as you asked me to, so you stay in shogunle i stay around there too, |
I am from Ifelodun in Kwara state the government is just blowing itś trumphet there is wide spread poverty in the state the people are not empowered because they see empowerment as a threat to them they classified Kwara as a northern state the muslims can complain because there have islamised the state and any talk against the leaders means a talk against their religion well the generation that will retore kwara to itś proper place has been born my parent may have been quite but i would not!!! Out of the 12 states created the same time Kwara is the least developed!!! |
Could you throw more light on this? Zahymaka What am trying to say is that there is no fresh ideas here in Nigeria, Since the day i have been born itś the same process beans is been cooked, the same process that corn and plantain is been roasted at the side of the road nothing new no one can experiment!!! |
Ishmael yes you can disagree with me no problem but the truth must be said the crisis like you said in Lagos do not escalate in to what it might have been if it were in the North. If there is any problem just 2hrs it would become a religious crisis even those from other parts of the country that share the same faith with the so called fanatics are killed. There are crisis in lagos how many people died and we didnt even know who was fighting against who, but a cartoon in Denmark people killed in the Northern parts of Nigeria! please Ishmeal lets call a spade a spade ,Northern parts of Nigeria is a very volatile area that is unpredictable, My dad currently is in Kano, i had my formative years in the North so i know what am saying, |

AIRFORCE PRIMARY SCHOOL IKEJA MAFOLUKU GRAMMAR SCHOOL OSHODI ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY AKUNGBA ONDO STATE NYSC ABIA AUGUST |
My peps i would be concluding my NYSC in August this year i will tell you the truth after the 3weeks and first week in November 2005 i have stabbed my place of pry assignment in Abia and have been in lag since then but i enjoyed the 3weeks it was something out of this world but people were doing all sorts of attrocity with girls( 99% of them were married!) on the field, in the pit latrine and so on i just enjoyed it because i came across old friends people i never imagine i could see again and i made new friends. My verdict is that after the 3weeks people should be asked to do something else not punish them by posting them to volatile areas and places where there aint water or electricity. If by virture of we serving in those remote places infrastructures will be improved then no probs but twenty years from now situation remains the same!!! |
Thanks flaky and all ya all i must tell you the truth i am passionate about Nigeria my dream is to make it in this country. Let me tell you the truth despite the fact that am serving am still working earning 25k plus my allawee but for how long interviews are conducted these days will i be patient enough? Am tired of struggling who knows my breaktheough might be in another man's country. I market international calling cards and i work as hard as those in the bank but am paid a misery 25k plus trekking and slapping long distances while my MD and ED jet round the world having nice time, well i am ready to take my chances but am still applying for jobs if any job worth my while shows up i will suspend my trip if not am checking out! |
Thx eddygirl another issue is that where will i get 7,000 pounds to go to school itś impossible to get that kind of money. A friend of mine was in 9ja two years after graduation no jab he travelled to the UK suddenly Oceanic called him for interview! imagine!!! |
Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba as at last year NUCś accreditation was number 8 in Nigeria and the best state university just 6years old infact Akungba is too much, |
My fellow people i would be concluding my NYSC in August what next? Is there hope for us despite the fact that a lot of people are still without jobs. Tell me if you have the opportunity to travel abroad and do your masters(well the money is not available) and staying back in Nigeria looking for a job. Which will you choose please help a brother, |
Mine is Bsc Psychology from Adekunle Ajasin University honestly i don mind Banks or Telecoms |
I believe it not a big deal for him not to know how to drive a car. You must understand how things work in this part of the world. Do you know that some families don have cars at all am talking of extended families some people are at that cross of the society. Now how do you expecting someone that his relatives and his father those not have a car or his friends. If you don have a car in Nigeia you are looked down upon for me i started learning how to drive about 2months ago because i will By Gods Grace buy mine buy the end of the year and itś because a close friend of mine takes time to teach me. So don blame the guy itś the situation here in nigeria. But itś not too late to learn |
My peps i must confess that the decay of the Nigerian structure has had its effect on our education system. The truth is that most of our so called professors are hungry and will be willing to give you any mark for a pot of pottage, For example my school i came out with a 2.96 in psychology which is preposterous and utterly riddiculus because am not carrying their bags and postrating for them, bribing them. Think of it all the theories we were taught in school are foreign and way back in the 30s, 50s, 60s with no fresh insight itś the same notes that they taught does in the 80s that they used for us in the new millenium. Think of this since the day i was born its the same way beans has been cooked, corn and plantain are roasted the same way and we have so called professors in nutrition well i love Nigeria but our leader are screwing us up, |
My people, i am at present serving in Abia but i got a job here in Lagos and i stayed back because itś a field job(marketer) and now i am fed up with the job itś good for someone like me with no major responsibilities but my peps i need a career my employers are terrible people, salaries are late in coming and i will have to trek long distances, you are not appreciated, you are like a threat to them infact they don trust you. I make about 250k for them and yet the company has never made profit since the day i joined them, feb. last year, infact this country is not protecting us and am fed up, |
I did the interview by one Elahor and she said i did well but two days after she called again conducting the interview all over when i told her i have been interviewed she apologized and said i will here from them if am successful well i guess am not. good luck to yah all |
