APC came and countered the position of Buhari to publicly bar AIT from covering his activities......but i trust that Tinubu,he go don tell Buhari say there are 1,000 and 1 ways to deal with them....AIT & Dokpesi just wait for May 29th,una secret punishment dey wait for una ![]() |
barcanista:This Barcanista....i always read your comments, and i am terribly disappointed in you.The kind of comments and posts yoi make speaks volumes about the level of your ignorance. NBC sanctioned and sent AIT a query for airing that malicious documentary, and he is yet to reply because his pay master is still in power, and he has the guts to release this stupid press release.....make all of una no worry,May 29th is not far again,he will definitely reap the reward.....and incase you and dokpesi dont know the meaning of a world class, unbiased and fair national tv station...i refer you to CHANNELS TV....because your stupid Dokpesi carefully omitted it |
Kx:It is the powers that be that appointed PWC to carry out the audit exercise,so they must be very diplomatic in their report...as a chartered accountant i can categorically tell you that it will be very extrremely difficult for any audit company to qualify a report of an organisation that employed them to carry out an audit on their books, but they will always find a way to tactically put out all the information in the report without necessarily qualifying it.....if you read inbetween the lines in this report, you will see that PWC have tactically issued a qualified report, without actually qualifying the report.....Now you may ask me why doing it this way?...mind you it is NNPC that we are talking about oooooo,i can imagine the amount of pressure that they would have given PWC to give them a favourable report,i can imagine how much they must have tried to use to bribe them,i can also imagine the threats they must have received....so by and large you will agree with me that they have done a good job and collected their well deserved audit fees....if to say them outrightly qualify the report,u tink say Jona for pay them their balance ![]() |
President-elect General Muhammadu Buhari, has barred the African Independent Television (AIT), from covering his activities until they sort out their ethics and standards. Buhari reportedly gave the order through his security team, who ordered AIT’s crew out of the Defence House during the Cuban Ambassador’s visit. APC’s Presidential Campaign Organisation spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, explained in details the reason for the ban. “AIT has been asked to stay aside based on security and family concerns. In addition, Gen Buhari has decided that they will have to resolve some issues relating to standard and ethics,” he said. “We will be talking with them to try and resolve the matter but for now the station has been asked to stay aside because like I said there are some family and security concerns. They have been asked to step down their coverage until we resolve the matter with them on ethics and standards.” Shehu however denied that the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has been barred along with AIT. He added: “Yes you can quote me that I said that we have asked them to step aside and that we are resolving the the issues of ethics and standards with them.” APC and Buhari constantly spoke about AIT's hate campaign against them during the elections |
