Na wah oo. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. D free brt stuff is just one of d benefits and nt a transport allowance.
Let's not derail d thread sha cuz I see ur minds have been biased when it comes to insurance.
As for now. Let's await dangote's call.

Guy I was invited for their interview and the Lady said I wasn't going to be paid salary but only commission. and the one of the benefits of working there would be free bus rides. i told her I would report back. I knew at the back of my mind i wasn't going back. so henrywest I know what I am talking about

Mr Rude.. U honestly don't knw what u talkin abt. Entry level in mutual benfits is d position of a "risk advisor" cuz we don't call 'em marketers.
In muutual,d commisiion I hightly attractive if u got what it takes. Ofcourse u don't get paid a dime as salary but u have transport allowance amounting To 40K monthly but u have to qualify for it after 3 months probabtion.
We get ur type a lot in our office who run away after an interview cuz of laziness.
I knw what I am saying bro. U start earning salary when u get to d posotion of an alliance manager. I am in mutual and I knw what I am talking about too. #winks

That's a bleeping lie! as a marketer for mutual benefits you don't earn s.hit. you're paid only on commission. and there's no transport allowie, just free BRT ride. Insurance marketers earn as low as 15/20k. God! henrywest where do you get your info from?

Hahahhaha. The amazing thing about your post is the 100% confidence u used to tag what I said as a lie. My friend, after validation with mutual benefits after 3 months and meeting d 1st target, u are qualified for a monthly TISA which is what u call transport allowance and its 40K. I didn't get d info from anywhere, rather, I work with them. Na wah oooo. See attack sha lol.

olumaxi: but a Bsc holder can aford to earn 15k as a marketer 4 an insurance company or bank

Na wah oo. U called it "marketer for an insurance coy". This one is trailer driving. Highway issues.
Moreover, never heard of 15K as pay for insurance marketers cuz I knw marketers who work with mutual benefits and earn up to 150K monthly on commission basis. Basic salary (transport allowance) is 40K.

Well bros. Comments like this really make me feel uneasy. Are u coming to beg dangote for money? U are coming to risk ur life on d highways working for him. Yes 2000 applicants but did he say all d 2000 wiLl stay in their homes and he pays them huge sums? Nopes, we are gonna work. If their intentions was to give all d 2000 peeps 2000 trucks, then that makes dangote richer. Why can't he afford to pay good money?
And like I said, I wasn't exaggerating abt their payscake. U can go to any of the oil and gas depots and ask those truckers what they earn. U could be amazed. I don't mean container drivers from apapa quays to lagos environs. I mean, inter state drivers. Those guys are on liquid pepper.
@ jonny, u are too much.

Na wah ooo. Who classified dangote graduate truckers for his new "super fleet" as subsidiary who wouldn't earn up to 150K. Do u really knw what truck driving is? This is hyper risk bro. I once said here that a knw a yoruba man who drives for capital oil and gas with SSCE lagos to abjua. This dude earns 250K monthly and I am nt exaggerating. See, trucking isn't an office job. From dangote's advertisement, he called this "a rewarding career". Getting ur career into top gear (not motor gear". Well, in less than 4 weeks, we would knw d final truth but pls, this is nt office job. It requires stamina + your degree. So expect more cash with faith. Cheers.

Somex10202: .everybody with his or her own fact, how true is dis?

He's is right. The interview is to baSically check if you are physically fit. I am tall and a giant. When I got into d interview room, I was asked to stand up, flex my muscles, how many strokes can I make during swimming? (Stamina test) cuz I told him I participated in d gulder ultimate search.
I mean, does interview waRrant u flexing muscles and all. At a point I thought, once d interviewr sees an interviewee, he would conclude within his heart if he is qualified or not. I guess that's one most of them get in their and are asked abtract questions like "what is ur parents occupation"? Just to fulfill all righteousness that he/she has been interviewed. My thoughts though.

I have been following this thread right from d 1st part before it got diverted to this one. U guys are trying sha although d general weather here sees this opportunity as demeaning which is quite laughable.
Truthfully, depends on what u feel abt it cuz total oil and gas pays its drivers that ply lagos to abj between 250 to 300K monthly.
From someone I met today, he has a feeling that d graduate drivers were strictly for international roads ( neigbouring african countries) and that d pay rate from what he knows ranges from 500 to 700K monthly.
So pls friends, I suGgest u start praying to get this job rather than look down on it with our innate over bloated ego. ChEers.

amby147: Nairalanders pls help me out oh!!

I wanna apply 4 canadian study permit, I got every other docs available 2 me.
My sponsor is my cousin, I hv drawn a family tree and added birth certs
To prove my relationship 2 him. He has a company, and I included in his
Sponsorship letter dat his purpose of sponsorhip is based on commitment
And dat he wants me 2 work 4 him after my studies. I also added an employement
4rm him 2 back it up,and to also prove dat I'll leave canada @ d end of my study.

Pls nairalander access it, and lemme no if its credible. Thanks oh!!!
.

Sincerely, ur cousin sponsoring u isn't cool. But if its a very genuine cousin ( u knw what I mean pal cuz most oluwole applicant go via cousin). Family tree and birth certs are not enough. Credible docs like national I'd card, drivers license, international passy, pictures and his marriage cert would go together to convince those guys.

If it was ur dad sending u abroad to go study and return to manage his coy, its understandable, I don't see why ur cousin wanna send u abroad to return to work for him. D canadian embassy are used to all these stories bruh. Try to re adjust. Cousin is too far to ensure funding. Trust me. They would say this except u produce his very important docs like d ones I listed. Originals ooooo

As for d other guy saying what if canadian VO's are on this forum, even if they were, do they knw who he is or his real names? Chill buddy and let's think straight. Cheers.

My tuition fee is about 15000cad a year and my dad statement has over times seven of d amount. All my academic doc was submiTted up until my degree cert and NYSC doc. From all they wrote the whole thing boils down to the "sponsorship credibility issue". Just thinking....is there anyway I can prove my relationship to my dad? Maybe that is d issue, though we bear the same surname but I don't think that is enough. @all what is your take on this?

Your cse is very simple. A letter headed papaer and letter of sponsor ship coupled with personal bank statements are enough reasons to doubt the credibility of your sponsor as ur dad babes.
You have to provide originals of his coy's CAC or any coy registration docs, tax clearance and hence u may re include his personal statement but his coy's statement would be preferable. If he has got no much cash in d coy statement, include it that way coupled with his personal.
You need to be as straight forwards as possible when it comes to sponsorship issues.

@ all, I came from the past (lemme put it that way). There was no VAC in our time. Since my institution doesn't issue transcripts in person, do I have to address it to VAC or still adress it to CDHC as I did d previous time while including the tracking number in my application? Cheers.

@Don cipher,
sorry about the refusal, but yet you need to take your time and work on why you were refused. After spotting the facts, you can then file ur application again.
Meanwhile, from my own perspective,I think I can spot some of d reasons u were refused.
You said you have been working for 3yrs+ and you did not include your own personal statement of acct. To the VO,it means over the year, you have not been able to save up any money. So you rely on ur "godfather" to finance ur studies abroad from his company account of 3.5m balance? When ur sponsor himself is married with children I assumed. If I were to be the VO,I will also say, what makes you think your brother-in law will be willing to part away with substantial amount from his 2.5m acct balance for an inlaw who has been working for 3yrs+,when he himself has his immediate family, especially in Nigeria's sitaution and scenario?
I think if you can "systematically" build your own acct as you have suggested, and you are able to prove the source of the fund within this time, you may have some points.
In my own opinion, getting another sponsor may raise suspicion. If you could plead with ur main sponsor, if he could pad up his acct or even if he has reasonable amount in his personal acct you could use provided it's a bit higher than the balance in d company's acct(I think VOs prefer personal accts to company acct.since withdrawals could be made easily without any delay or consultation),while you also include your acct and how you came about the fund in your acct, you may come back better. Trust me bro,it takes creativity, smartness and determination. Above all,Faith.
good luck.

@henrywest,

Its good to hear from you again. God bless.

Don Cipher: Hello house please i need ur candid advice here, i was refused on 30th July after 3mths processing with the following reasons:
1. You have not satisfied me that u have adequate funds available to u to pay for your tuition and living expenses while in Canada and return to your country of residence.

2. You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay.

Other reasons, handwritten, sponsors not credible.

My tuition for a year costs $8518.5 including admin fees for a year @ UNB. i used 2 different sponsors, one was a company acct (Godfather) with a turn over of about 39m within 8mths with closing balance 3.5m also cert of incorporation and tax clearance included(with a letter indicating funding of $12,000 annually equivalent of N1,920,000) the other was my brother in-law's savings acct with 2.5m closing balance (included marriage cert). Graduated 2008 B.Sc Comp Sci, NIIT 2008 Oracle OCA & OCP KarROX Ethical Hacker 2011, working for over 3yrs but didn't include my personal statement.

This is what i feel, i have requested for a new acceptance letter, @ the moment i have N1.2M in my savings account which has been there for the past 2mths and i want to try to build it up to about N3.4M within the next 5wks (which i intend leaving throughout the processing period) before i apply again for Jan 2013. Would the visa officer see that as cash lodgement.

I also intend getting another sponsor who owns a company but this time i wish to include his personal acct instead of only company account like i did previously, but how to prove my relationship to the sponsor is my headache right now.

I would have used my boss who happened to be my lecturer in school(We have known since March 2004), but his company has issues with tax clearance. Is it possible to use his personal account with him introducing himself as Managing Consultant of the company i work for without CDHC requesting for his tax certs because it is already in record that i work for his company.

Finally, what is the minimum account balance required by CDHC

. I wonder why you are in such a hurry to request for a new letter. You should have taken ur time to review and fortify sponsorship part of ur application since its d ultimate reason for ur denial.
From experience, looking for phantom reasons to show relationship to a stranger in d name of "sponsor" doesn't work with CDHC. Those guys are smart. Any realtion who is not ur parents, siblings, uncle or aunt(with appropriate documentations) and employer is usually a mission impossible.
Don't be in a hurry. Sit back and think. Just an advise

Have u been denied before or planning ahead? I asked cuz it was boldly written on my police clearance that its valid for just 3months and even, when someone is denied, the police clearance isn't returned to d applicant. The embassy holds unto that particular document. So from what I just said, u should be able to know if u would get a new police clearance or not.
Be good.

HELP !

do CDHC asks all applicants to proceed in paying tuition fees ? And if yes, does paying sch fees initiates the processing faster ?
CDHC only instructs some applicant to pay tuition fees prior to visa issuance. And before u are asked to pay your tuition, your application must have bin an impressive one and hence u should be a potential TRV holder if they ask u to go pay your tuition, It has absolutely nothing to do with "conditional" or "unconditional" admission.
And it doesn't make anything faster, instead, it could sometime give them an impression that u got money(which is good),

demmy79:
How Many months or years does student TR Visa valid for? I mean the duration

U must be a newbie buddy. Anyways, it depends strictly on d duration of ur program. Study permit duration is not uniform,
Cheers
