It could just be that his body will always be too big, looking at his father and sister, and there is only so much you can work against nature, meaning he may have to convert to CB at some point in his career. At that position, he will still be very adept.

Or probably turn into Kyle walker of man city. I think James has fat while walker muscle.

They are chasing CB all over the place, and we always had CBs in Rudiger, Tomori, Chris. The outstanding issue for not playing back 4 was always lack of robust DM, a very slow LB (Alonso) and at-times, James inability to make recovery runs due to his big size.

They should forget De jong in this window, sign Aubameyang and Fofana.

Jorhinho has his weaknesses, but he is definitely not the only problem in the that mid field.. and Chelsea donot have the worst mid field in the league. Infact we have one of the best mid field in the league. Our problem has always been the attack.

We dominated over 85% of the teams we played against last season.. only man city completely anihalated us. And it doesn't matter the formation we played, man city just had superior team.

Get good attackers who can actually take on players, not lose sitters or play like a worm and see difference.

You are right about the attack and also I know that our midfield are not the worse in the league, we have one of the best midfield in the league but I am just saying if we want more improvement we have to get quality players in those three position.

Psg is playing in a league they are dominating and also they signed Vintiha who is strong and technical this season to partner Verrati. This is the reason they able to play 3 atb this season.

I wanted to say this before seeing your post. They are making it look like 3 atb formation is the problem when it is the personnel. You want to play two midfielders but one look weak and thin, the other one will be over labored na.

Formation is not the problem but personnel which Tuchel is even trying by playing to their strength. Midfield is the heart of football so when it’s not working properly it affect the whole team playing structure which we are experiencing with Jorginho. Silver is covering a lot of things in the back that it take someone with eye test to appreciate him more, that guy reading of the game and ball playing ability is greatly helping our defense. We just need a solid DM, a replacement for Azpi and then a number 9 and the team will be ready to match man city and liverpool.

Let's be honest what do we demand from kante, he breaks up passing lanes.(check) , do we dominate the middle with him or do we see him drop thoes thru passes, abi all he does is make runs & cover more distances, abi we look like a counter attacking team.
If we have to slander jorginho, kante shouldn't be exempted after all he is a Cm , CMs brings stats in play .

With a solid DM Kante will be more fine to cause attacking threat. With Jorginho we have a liability when defending. Go watch Matic Kante pairing and see how well shaped the team was simply because we have a DM that did his job properly, I.e, to defend and protect the back three properly when been attacked and also to make quick forward passes when attacking. With Jorginho, we are easily closed down when with the ball because he can only give short side and back passes. During Conte season with us, when Matic win the ball you see him lunch the ball to Hazard or Pedro. Jorginho rarely win the ball, and when he do he goes to the ground for free kick so that he can rest, you rarely see him win the ball and make use of it like other strong and quality CDM. Kante is a box to box player.

I know you guys don’t see the disadvantage of playing cr7 due to how your club have fallen. You guys need level headed footballers like the way Arsenal and Arteta are building level headed players which brings synergy among the players.

You want to start play from back yet your goalkeeper has never play such football before. This is why pep changed goalkeeper twice n two seasons. De Gea is not a ball playing goalkeeper, he is the most overrated goalkeeper, he can only punch shot those year he was doing super man but lack in every other area of goalkeeping.

Mount can’t play wing in 433 formation, he is not great in midfield 3 either.

subs; Mount, Chilwell, Azpi, kepa, Loftus cheek, Gallagher, silver, Pulisic, Zyech, Jorginho, Chalobah.

We can play 343 formation when needed and then Mount starts.

We will need another CDM when Jorg move, neither Kante, Kovacic nor de jong is a CDM, they are roaming CM/ box to box.
