I took a pack of capri-sonne today out of the carton, the size looked a bit unusual. I chose not to give this one to my daughter coz of my suspicion. I refrigerated it for few minutes and decided to chill out with it. After a few sips(it tasted okay ) , the flow seemed to have been restricted. I took the straw my daughter used to drink hers to see if the straw was the issue, but the result was the same.
I double checked the expiry date to ensure it's intact.
At this point, I had no other option than to trim the edge of the pack and pour into a container (I used a container with white internal coating). After pouring the content into the container, lo and behold, the liquid contained an algae-like substance, just similar to the green stuff extracted from jerry-cans or kegs used for storing water over a long time.
I almost puked at the sight.

I didn't share this to hurt "Capri-Sonne", but to warn everyone. Try as much as possible to empty the content of drinks, juices or whatever liquid that isn't in a transparent bottle.
I had this encounter with Capri-Sonne, yours might be with Viju, Bobo, Lucozade boost, ribena, CWAY or even the regular Coca-Cola, Lacassera etc.
Especially for the sake of those little kids who take them along with their lunch kits every now and then.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed and prevention is better than cure.

Reza Parastesh and Messi
So many people came out to take selfies with Parastesh in the western city of Hamedan over the weekend that police rushed him into a station and impounded his car to stop the chaos and clear traffic.

The resemblance is so uncanny that Eurosport UK reportedly used his photo by accident on Twitter recently when talking about the real Messi.

The furore began a few months ago when Parastesh’s football-mad father pressured the 25-year-old into posing in a number 10 Barcelona jersey and sending the pictures to a sports website.

“I sent them one night and by the morning they had called me and said I should come in quickly for an interview,” he told AFP.

Despite his early reluctance, Parastesh soon grew into his new role, cutting his hair like Messi and often donning the Barca jersey when he goes out.

It has paid off — he is fully booked with media interviews and has even landed modelling contracts.

“Now people really see me as the Iranian Messi and want me to mimic everything he does. When I show up somewhere, people are really shocked,” he said.

Iranians are obsessed with football, and Parastesh finds himself constantly besieged by fans looking for a selfie.

“I’m really happy that seeing me makes them happy and this happiness gives me a lot of energy,” he added.

Parastesh loves football but has never played professionally, though he is working on some tricks so he can better play the role.

He remembers very well the last game between Iran and Argentina during World Cup 2014, when Messi’s 91st-minute goal robbed the Islamic republic of a place in the last 16.

Reza’s dad was furious.

“After the game, my dad called me and said don’t come back home tonight… why did you score a goal against Iran? I said: But that wasn’t me!” Parastesh said, laughing.

His goal now is to meet his hero in Barcelona, and maybe even land a job as his understudy.

“Being the best player in footballing history, he definitely has more work than he can handle. I could be his representative when he is too busy,” he said

Most people would have pondered why their post(s) don't make front page. It gets more frustrating when you feel your gist is very catchy. There are several reasons and they include but not limited to the following :

Have you opened a post and upon opening it, you get disappointed by its content? Need I remind you that your subject is the first moment of truth a visitor gets, the second moment of truth is what determines if they'll comment or just view. Try finding interesting topics that are irresistible.

* Your subject is irrelevant. There are certain things that are trending, you might want to find something related to'em. Imagine talking of Christmas in May

* In Nigeria, everything requires connection. Perhaps you are new at this. The moderators don't know you, and your post ain't spectacular. They'll just move on. You'd be surprised some dryer stuff make FP in ur stead. Sorry, welcome to 9ja.

* Most viewers prefer opening threads with attachments (videos and pictures). If you are being too academic, you might not get so many views, let alone make FP.

* How many followers do you have, how many people do you follow?
Your friends could help ma your post go viral, and eventually make front page. For instance, I have come across threads where someone views and his/her comment is as simple as " cc lalasticala"

If you adhere to these tips and dey don't work, don't feel depressed.

SAVE THE VAGINA NOW!!!
To maintain a healthy vagina you must know what to do to avoid infection and it is equally important to educate your sexual partner on some of them to also help you help the vagina.
Here are some few things you can do or avoid.

1. Fingering
During pre-intimacy or romance, as part of it some people insert their finger or fingers into the vagina. The question is, how many people wash their hands before sexual intercourse? Some people do not even keep their nails clean so it gathers a lot of germs and during the fingering, these germs are deposited in the vagina...leading to infection. Same thing apply to autopleasure acts or masturbation.

2. Anal sex
I am not here to tell anybody to have anal sex or not to but I simply want to draw the attention of those who engage in anal sex with the opposite sex that it is dangerous to have anal sex and continue having penovaginal sex. If this is done, the penis will pick bacteria from the anus and deliver them to the vagina even if you are using a condom....which will lead to infection.

3. Quest to make the vagina TIGHT
Some guys complain bitterly about the vagina of their sexual partners. They complain that it's too big and they no more feel any sensation during intercourse. Some ladies are therefore pushed to find a quick solution and in the process some use herbs or other substances in the vagina with the hope of making the vagina tight. Some of the substances cause infection or sepsis. Some of the herbs can cause the vagina to get tighter to the extent that penetration is no more possible. This will require treatment.

4. Douching
Some parents, when bathing for their baby girls put warm water in a milk tin or dip a towel in the warm water and pour the water through a hole made beneath the tin or squeeze the water out of the towel into the vagina of the baby. This is sooooo WRONG as it can damage the hymen.
Some parents also insert ginger or pepper or both into the vagina of adolescents as a form of punishment. This is sooooo WRONG as it can lead to infection.

Some people are use to bathing by adding dettol or other detergents to the water and they put this solution inside the vagina with the help of sponge or towel or just the hand with soap to clean the vagina. This is soooo WRONG as it will change the normal flora in the vagina, leading to infection.

5. Use of water closet
Some people have the habit of not sitting on the seat of the WC when using it so they end up urinating on the seat. The possibility of picking infection when using it in that condition is high. Don't let your pant be at the thigh level when using the WC especially the public ones as the inner of the pant may rub the surface of the WC. Where the water is not running and people have used but have not flushed and you don't have any choice but to also use it, use enough toilet roll to cover before using the WC to avoid any splashes on the vulva.

6. Washing and drying
Develop the habit of disinfecting your panties frequently...depending on the number of pants you have. Keep exclusive panties to wear whenever you are menstruating and don't mix those panties with your regular panties. Pay particular attention to those panties when washing. Ensure that the panties are made of cotton and are dried in the sun or well ironed to kill germs.

7. Change sanitary pads
Some people try to economize the use of their sanitary pads so during the period they tend to still wear the pad because there is little or no blood. This is soooo WRONG as it can lead to infection.
NB: If there is any bad scent from the vagina or there is a discharge coming from the vagina then it might be an infection which you have to have it treated.

I recently got a GTA IV Blu-Ray disc for PS3. I inserted it to the console, it showed a lady in red dress with a lollipop in her mouth. Upon pressing the start button, it beeps and displays an error message; " An error occurred during the start operation "
This happens only with the GTA Disc. Has anyone else experienced or possibly resolved this? Kindly share your experience.
