Need advice on the next move in my career, I am currently working in one of the big E- Commerce in Nigeria. I just got promoted to lead role with a salary of #160k with no time for myself again. Also I have uncle who has been helping to get a federal job since I left.

He met one of his old friends who is working at IBEDC and he promises to get me in. When I do my research about their entry level salary, I find out that their salary range is less than 100k. My parent has already been disturbing my uncle that he must get this for me and if it later clicks and I turned it down,I will look like ingrate to the family.

Please I need your advice on what to do, do I need to tell my parents that I have been promoted and my salary has been increased.

No reasonable answer yet just some insults that I doesn't need reply. I think we are getting there in this country. I think the vote should be between Peter and Tinubu.

I'm a Yoruba man and I'm voting for Peter Obi. If Peter Obi were not in the ballot, I'll vote for Atiku.

Reason is because, I don't vote for tribe but competent. Atiku is lesser criminal and healthy than Tinubu who recently said he's the landlord of Lagos. By virtue of Tinubu becoming Nigeria President, he will claim Nigeria and become landlord of Nigeria.

Since Peter Obi is in the ballot papers, that means you are voting for him then the question is not for you.

Please advice me on what to do. I am working as an inventory supervisor in retail supermarket earning 60k with free lunch,bonus quarterly and health insurance also my line manager is always on my neck everytime and I have 6days off in a month including Sundays.
I got an offer this week to start work next week Monday as warehouse manager with the salary package of 80k no other benefits i know of as at now, not really far to my house and only Sundays (4days) as my off. I don't really know what to do and I need advice from my family here. Please no abuse

It was very unreasonable of you to quit your job without having any available one to keep up with. Very wrong decision you made there.

Situation like this is the major reason why firms and companies hide their payroll and warn against discussing of earnings amongst workers. It has a way of discouraging workers.

Kindly go back to the job, keep managing it until you find a better place. You don't just leave in such manner just to be idle. Be reasonable, atleast for the betterment of your family.

I am still working there just that I am not happy since I saw this and don't feel like working there anymore

Why did you stop work before finding a solution? its mistake you did! You should have find a side hustle to assist your salary job.
I got a job in a company immediately I finished serving and guess how much I was paid monthly? #30,000 Funny right? Yeah a company in V.G.C, Lagos. It was poor but I invested on Jumia and Konga, I dropship on these two platforms as a side hustle while I work in the company, at start it was hard, but after 2-3months I picked up and started living good. After 7months of working in the company, I resigned and focused on my Jumia and Konga Dropshipping, I bought printers, Laptop and other things to enhance the business, and today I have multiple online business I do.

Please nairalanders, I want you to advice me on what to do urgently. I don't know the increment in electricity is so much that the the unit I use to buy at #5000 at the rate of 190 units now is just 79 units. After I bought the unit I felt like I should be crying that why did I vote for Buhari. if this hike in electricity stay I know many people will have to bypass their electricity because I don't think. many people will be able to sustain with this increase including me.
