The pix you posted shows layer battery cages and the birds drink water from the niipple. It automatically drips little amount of water whenever the birds peck it.
You build pens(long shed with low walls) to house the cages. Hope it was helpful.

You want to raise 600 layers. You have land but you have not talked the housing. Is it deep litter or battery cage? If you want battery cages you can get very good ones from Farmergiant Nig.
