Please, what can you say about this condition of my daughter. She has not been eating for 4days now. We force her to eating eat. She rejects her favourite food-bread(she can eat bread for Africa!); also rejects dodo, noodles, meat, cake, biscuits, golden morn. She has fever. But she is as playful and ever. Not one sign of sickness except loss of appetite and fever. What can you say is up with her? Thank you. |

It depends. What if you have more than 20 employees in your school. The survival fund restricts the number of staff that can be registered. So what if your account was not among those registered? Won't you want to get a share of the palliative? That's why I say it depends. If the school owner is transparent about the sharing among other staff, you don't have (good) reason not to cooperate. My 2 cents. |

Such news as this should not grace front page. Seun, don't promote insensitive posts on nairaland. |

Nigerian leaders and their penchant for inanities! Few governors showed some Leadership though, Oyo governor especially. My child's school in Ibadan is vacating today. The children play all they want. Physical distance? Yinmu. The school asked them to come with masks. But it is all for political correctness. Some government officials still go around, the school said. As you you guess the masks hang under the chin, Nigerian style. No child, nor staff, nor parent has died or hospitalized through Covid-19. Any government in Nigeria planning another shutdown is playing with fire. |

Government should be careful now. The citizens won't just lie down and trod up by unreasonable and thoughtless policies. |

In fact there is no NEED for him to present budget to NASS. Let him spend the money anyhow. According this reasoning of Malami. 5 Likes |

I just pity Niger Delta! I almost weep for them. The environment is messed up with oil spills and acid rain. There is little infrastructure. Education and Human development is way lower than it should be. And when oil becomes almost useless, they would be left stranded. I weep for Niger Delta. 3 Likes |

I am disappointed in Okowa! He is not being a leader. A leader is meant to be courageous. He should use this development as a reference point for the injustice and gross hypocrisy of the Nigeria system. How can a region be bossing everyone else around, and they are looking like mumu. They control all armed forced except Navy. They control NIMASA, NNPC, Emiefele is a figure head at CBN. MOST OF THESE SOUTHERN CLOWNS CALLED LEADERS ARE ONLY COMMITTED TO FIGHTING FOR THEIR POLITICAL FUTURE. 2 Likes |

Since the police has lost most of their moral authority due to greed, the citizens no longer respect them. Those they have robbed by extortion are taking it out on them. Do you guys know how many police stations have been burnt in the past week? The proper thing was for them to be taken to the police for investigation and prosecution BUT anarchy is looming. Some order need to be restored and hence the military action even if wrong. Guys, you don't want to imagine a society without any law and order! No police, no deterrent, no nothing! If this goes unchecked, people's businesses or your employers businesses will be looted en masse. Some of these guys borrowed money to start the business for goodness sake! Complete anarchy is a good citizen's nightmare, unless you are one of the looters. |

mainkendo: Let's even say Revolution has a 50/50 chance of positive outcome. What has been happening in Nigeria for several years now is not normal. So something has to give! #How can Nigeria of 200m have more extremely poor people than India with 1.2 billion population? #How can the police be publicly, openly, 'rightfully' be extorting people on the highway? #How can EFFC and other anti corruption agencies be the cesspool of corruption such that the corrupt policemen bribe to be seconded there? #How can money meant for police operations be annually embezzled by the high UPS in the police? #How can soldiers be sent to fight Boko Haram with insufficient arms and ammunition? #How can a country with the highest number of poorest people have a legislature that earns most in the world? Let me just pause for now. So you see, my friend, that revolution must come. It is just a matter of time. Maybe the time has come. 1 Like |

Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, leading all others as usual. He first opened terminal classes in July when all others were uncertain and looking at where the wind will blow. He had set the date for school resumption for Sept 21 over a month ago. God has blessed Oyo State with a visionary leader. Nobody should come mention party here o. 7 Likes |

Azmanaty: Don't pity anybody, pity yourself. Restructure this country, then who becomes president won't be very very important. And if things are not remedied very soon there won't be a country with both south and north anymore. |

festacman: My friend, you still don't get it. Please consider this: If you want power supply to improve, do you make the main importer of generator as chairman of the power reform? Of course NO!!!! Why? because good power supply is his business death knell. This is the same scenario with the NASS and progress of Nigeria. You can expect a progressive constitutional review from a NASS where most of the members are extremely corrupt and thieves. |

EricBraven: A country as divided as Nigeria needs no enemy. It is successfully fighting itself. The current Fulani hegemony makes other components of Nigeria wary of any progress by the military. Our military, presently constituted, is believed by many to be service a Fulano-Islamic agenda. A restructured country, with a truly federal constitution, is a way forward to heal the deep antinationalism. Independence Constitution on my mind. |

adewoyinrotimi: 3rd Force? No be only 3rd force, na 3rd Energy. You guys still don't understand that the current structure of Nigeria can't produce a better country. Let that sink in my brother. Force a restructuring of the country! That is the only forward way I see. 1 Like |

backbone503: You still don't get it. If you have watched Titanic film, does it matter where the new captain is from after the ship hit the iceberg? Of course it doesn't because the ship would sink anyway. The sensible thing to do is to find the small boats(Restructuring) and sail away to safety. |
