Racoon:
Simple reply. This is the foolishness APC simply played into.Election requires finances but a good financial warchest does not determined the success of an election whether on the winning or losing sides as incumbent have lost elections.

INEC spent staggering amount of money to organized elections in recent times including the controversial Osun Rerun but all were marked by violence, intimidation, vote-buying and annoying inconclusive outcome. Now it's to organise the most expensive general elections in 2019, but let's all wait for the outcome
My brother this is Nigeria o. money is has a big impact o. just sad that we are just exchanging good governance for token. Nigerian politics is a big time scam.

Some people have selective amnesia: when Atiku was in the APC this never showed up , but now he has defected to the PDP and is now gaining momentum , these stalwarts from the APC now start bringing to remembrance all his past deeds . Shame on APC and it's members with selective amnesia !
shame on you for not calling a spade a spade. I don't give a fvck about APC. All I know is I will never give the country's treasury to an atiku-led government. What prove do you want that you haven't seen? EducationRe: University Of Ibadan International School Shut Over Hijab As Parents Kick by highbeekeys(m): 8:34am On Nov 13, 2018
jojotemitopaz:
I have read lots of comments here and if we would be objective...the people pointing fingers at Muslims for being too religious are actually the ones being non tolerant...to start with, you want to force other individuals to see things your way based on in qoute 'law' when u are fully aware that it is purely against their values...no one is forcing everyother person to put one on but you are forcing the to put it off meaning forcing them to change their values...how would you feel if you are being mandated to stop going to church? Not like every one does but if you were forced to stop it wouldn't you feel oppressed?

They wear the hijab for their own values not yours...wearing it in reality don't affect you except that others are less tolerant and less judgemental ...in a sane environment people fight to defend the values of others. If I had a budidst friend and I am a chirstain if I know its against his values to eat cows as a friend its not for me to force him to eat cows but help him eat something else aside cows...this is how to build a respectable society....tolerance is what is missing here and clearly most of everyone here would rather force others to be who they dont want to be rather than tolerate who they truly are and let peace reign .... This is what happens in marriages too...everyone wants to prove their values are supreme and thus impose it on others . pls let's be more tolerant with ourselves. Thank you
This is being objective. you are the wisest person here. we keep saying religion and difference in ethnicity is our problem. it's just lack of tolerance.

Like you Christians limit your unwarranted, noisy sermons in public transport, classes and other places possible? Respect other people's way of life as it promotes tolerance which leads to peace. Not everyone would be a Christian. certainly. this shouldn't be issues in the first place.
EducationRe: University Of Ibadan International School Shut Over Hijab As Parents Kick by highbeekeys(m): 8:28am On Nov 13, 2018
computergeek:
I'm not trying to bring them down or denigrate them, but I just feel Muslims like to act as if they're being mistreated. I understand that they take their religion as a culture, but then again they should stop forcing their nuggets on other people, because some of us take our religions very seriously too but we know when to cut back.

A government school is not a religious school. It won't kill anyone if the girls drop their hijabs for a few hours of school. Schools don't allow Catholic kids to wear Chaplets and medals and finger Rosaries. Schools don't allow girls from other Christian denominations to cover their hair or wear Church vests to school, so why should Muslim girls be permitted to wear hijabs to government schools? Everyone should try to be more tolerant, more flexible and less over-zealous.
Did you just say you know when to cut back? with all of the unwarranted sermons in public transports, classes, streets? with a lot of noise and all that. The school are the ones causing the problems for making it an issue in the first place.

Brother it's simple, plain, transparent and obvious as you like to have it. Whateva is being done in that fela shrine promotes nothing but moral decadence. that, is what our youth claim is fela's legacy. My hold still, is that the world already knows this is a country soaked in corrupt practices especially on a monetary aspect.
remember the "fantastically corrupt " remark by the British? let's not deceive ourselves, better to proffer solutions Rather than misquote the president.

If buhari can lead this country properly and effectively out of its many issues(herdsmen, bad economy, corruption, rule of law) I don’t mind voting for him again like I did it 2015 based on principles bt he can’t and his govt or party can’t also. There are many internal conflicts and interests in Apc/buharis administration to have sensible policies or leadership. I hv studied the beyond the actions, hypocrisy and elections gimmicks. I’m reading the handwriting on the wall.
the truth is I'm tired of voting.. I don't think anything different can come from atiku, same old corruption stories is certain, who even knows what d next group of agitators or terrorists or insurgents would arise under him. either I stay with what I know or I vote ANN or SDP.

Donald Duke is someone I consider a friend.
He is an intelligent young man with a proven track of excellence in leadership.
His personal life is also a reflection of the great standards he sets for himself.
His proficiency in the Saxophone and his knowledge of Jazz paints him as a multi-tasker with a healthy work-life balance.

In as much as Nigeria will be best with a leader like him at it's helm of affairs. The time is not now.
This battle is for the swift,
This race is for the strong.
This is also a battle that must be won if the war will be won.

Donald Duke is not that man to win this battle considering his electoral strength in the core-North who are programmed by default to vote based on ethnic and religious sentiments.
Only Atiku has the speed, the strength and Northern political clout to win this fight.

So a vote for Donald Duke is a vote lost to Atiku and a vote for Buhari.
We must eliminate vote-splitting by not considering the featherweights if Buhari must be sent back to Daura.

Even Donald understands this.
You should too.
Please do not split your vote by voting SDP.
Let's unite and vote Atiku so that we can send the dullard back to Daura.
the only problem here is the fact that your aim is to send buhari back to daura and not what the future holds for you under any of these men. I'm scared for Nigeria's treasury under an atiku led government.
it's not vote splitting, it's being wise.

gentlegenius:
There are two things that gives our zombies hope of keeping their dullard in office beyond 2019:
1. Incumbency: The zombies are hoping and secretly praying that buhari will use his power of incumbency to woo INEC to rig the election for him.
But the fact is that rigging a national election is more difficult than our zombies may think because it will involve lots of people and processes. Most of the INEC officials and ad hoc staffs that will conduct the election are already tired of buhari's administration and will not want to reinforce failure even if they are paid to do so.
2. Another thing that gives our zombies hope is the believe that most of the voters in the north are illiterates and underaged, who don't even know whether buhari has failed in office or not. They believe that this set of people voted buhari blindly in 2015 and will repeat the same in 2019. But the truth is that this set of people didn't vote buhari blindly in 2015. They voted him due to tribal and religious sentiments. They just didn't have a choice then, but now they have Atiku - same tribe and same religion with Buhari. These set of people don't know or care if Atiku is corrupt or not. They are not on social media, so they don't hear all the noise the APC zombies are making about Atiku being a thief. Now, the hardship buhari has brought on Nigerians is affecting everybody both in the rural and urban areas, both the rich and the poor, both the illiterates and the educated. A poor old woman in the village doesn’t need to read the news to know that things are hard in this country. A commodity she used to buy 30 naira under GEJ is now 50 naira under buhari. Those we see as illiterates might know more than we think. During the few days of NLC warning strike, an old uneducated woman in her 80s asked me why her grandchild couldn't go to school. I explained to her that the strike is just a warning to make the government listen to them, but it might last a bit longer because the president was in America. She quickly asked me, has he gone again for medical check up? I was extremely shocked to see that even an old woman who doesn’t listen to news is already aware that our President is unhealthy and perhaps lifeless. grin
How on earth will this woman vote for buhari if she can manage to go to the polling unit on election day especially now that sharing money at the polling units has stopped?
Our dear zombies, stop giving yourselves false hope because the game is over for the dullard.
"Those who didn't vote for buhari in 2015 will still not vote for him. Some of those who voted for him will not vote him again in 2019" - Sen. Bukkar Abba Ibrahim.
Then you, a vibrant youth, at your age think a recycled atiku would save you? Senator bukkar abba Ibrahim, a politician as well. Please don't be gullible, they are the same. they'll leave you with no future.
