uzohrome:You mean most Nigerians are still gullible and won't welcome positive change of hands. "He can't win, it's either APC or PDP". |
Rextizzle:Hey, someone's trying to correct you and wasn't abusive to you then you turn on him? be the change you want to see in the world bro. |
FarahAideed:But now he's the president and you're what?? The most liked comment? |
PMB might not be who you want in Aso rock, and you could hate him all you want, but he's so right when he said Religious leaders shouldn't engage in politics. it's only going to strip them of their respect. This issue isn't so cool on Oyedepo's part of u ask me. But it's okay if he feels too big to admit it. it must have been a blow to him discovering what he read is a satire. |
kimbraa:Brother, you too carry church for head o. As a Christian, you shldnt insult people. didn't Jesus say u Shld turn the other cheek? |
GSA01:It's getting attention because of the level of literate illiterates in the country. they are many on nairaland.if I don't want buhari, it doesn't mean i Shld lose my brain too. |
ifex370:Imagine having all 250million people in this country thinking like you. We wouldn't even be a country in d first place. |
Jerryembassy91:Anyone fighting the PDP is fighting corruption. We all know this. But I'll never take sides Tho. No point in supporting men who have done things to harm the future of this supposedly best country in Africa. |
Jerryembassy91:Anyone fighting the PDP is fighting corruption. |
It's almost a sin to believe anyone from the APC or PDP can save us. It's gonna be the same old story when atiku comes. I'm fed up of this country. we should be recolonized. |
Definition of mumu: A person who voted Jonathan out, voted buhari in and is planning on atikulating, and is not still wise enough to know that non of them has interest in moving the country forward. APC this, PDP that. Oga wise up and either vote sowore, Fela, Ezekwesili or Duke. Or simply leave ur voters card under ur pillow. |
This shows whoever is taking sides with any politician is either on his payrol (at least it's understandable) or utterly insane or mentally deranged. |
NaijaRoyelty:Brother, those you see in APC today were once in PDP. The ones in PDP were once in APC. I stand to be corrected though. But there's no good or pleasure in singling out any of these bastards. Over 100 soldiers died Now, scores were killed by the same Boko Haram in the last administration. All these bastards could do is politicize it to gain office. We are in a situation we almost can't control, that's the worst one one can be in. Our mentality, our pride, our sanity is just so on the low and we are all bribe, ethnicity, religion motivated in everything we do. When you listen to radio analysis every morning, (101.5 eko FM) like 7:30-9:00am, you'll discover that casting votes for either of APC or PDP is a bid to sell our futures. |
Only a shallow minded individual would take sides and get worked up over any politician in this country. Insane. |
The reason why we should weep badly is because there's no solution in place. The rays of hope, the smaller parties won't win. Buhari, Atiku, OBJ, jagaban.. Ain't we dead? |
Things that might happen IF atiku becomes president : 1. Massive importation of virtually everything possible through our borders which will turn Nigeria into a dumping ground. 2. OBJ will continue to have or even increase the ghost workers receiving salaries from Nigeria's federation accounts. 3. GBENGA DANIEL, will definitely have a ministerial slot. GOD! GBENGA Daniel! 4. Electricity will never improve or would slow down so much as atiku owns a generator company. 5. Abandonment of the rail projects currently on going which will be a massive blow to our transportation system and infrastructural development. 6. Selling NNPC to himself and a group of people in his cabal, that way, we are done. 7. EFCC will be rendered powerless, impotent as you may have it because atiku never fights corruption, he's an advocate of it which even his supporters know. 8. He'll have to recover all his campaign funds as he has spent billions already on supporting buhari while in APC, bribing his way through PDP primaries to get the ticket, plus the billions he and PDP will spend during this campaign period. (he has shared 10k each this past week in Kogi State). 9. Little or no funds will be remitted into our federation accounts as he would scrap this single account we're currently using to reduce the level of corruption. 10. PDP cabal won't let him rest as all his appointments, contracts, plans would have to go their way. (This ultimately ruined Jonathan's government). Atiku would have promised heaven and earth in that party. 11. Restructuring would never take place because it can't work, atiku is a chronic liar and was just being political and wants the vote of my brothers in the Southeast. (the likes of wike know this, that's why they didn't vote for him in the primaries. Even OBJ confirmed his tendency to go back on his word in his book). 12. We might have abundance of turkey, Thai rice, spaghetti, tomato paste, milk, sardines, tea bags, toothpicks and all other stuffs, all imported, thereby gradually killing the economy, and killing locally made products, entrepreneurs will cry. 13. there's no assurance Boko Haram will be gone, no government in the world has successfully killed terrorism to its root, atiku has lesser knowledge on security issues. 14. Herdsmen are also from his region, he'll never take guns to his own land in a bid to stop them. they are also Hausa - Fulani's. (that's even if they are genuine HERDSMEN). 15. Creating 50million jobs as promised yearly is in reality impossible with the level of infrastructure available. it's just a political talk. he'll then ask for one more term. I can't risk all these my brothers. And the dumbest sentences I've heard that could make one cry is "I know atiku is going there to loot, but I'm voting him". We are finished. Honestly. Better to vote wisely brothers, don't say it's vote splitting, it's freedom. Let's achieve 12million votes to pass a strong message to these thieves. it has to start now. |

NwaAmaikpe:According to Christians, the Son of God was beaten, humiliated, and crucified. I'm I right? what makest thou of that? |
Why are we so blind to see that none of these politicians are doing things to help us without the intention of looting or staying in office? Yet we come here, argue, trade insults, waste mb in their defence. We say others can't win, so we won't vote them. Why not vote first, let ANN or HOPE have at least 8million votes this time to pass a strong message to these thieves and murderers. Please let's vote a sane, young, educated (genuinely educated youth) who can manage what we have left as a Nation. If we can survive all these looting for 20yrs, all the killings, bombings and hardship, we can thrive as a Nation. we have talented, intelligent youths, legendary farmers, business-driven people, IT experts, economists, scientists. we have the wealth. we have a fearsome Army, we have millions still dreaming of working in the military. Please open your eyes. "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds" - Bob Marley. |

ojun50:Better to stay off these bastards. APC, PDP or whatever ... which has served well and not subject innocent people to unwarranted killings? Can't the military take over again? |
engrsyer:Well, I won't trade insults with you and I don't blame you. I take it to be that the frustration got the better of you. I'm not here to prove anything to you anyways but you can let me know if you need a job or an advise on how to make money. It's not my fault that you live or were born in naija, it's not my fault also that you're frustrated, and it's not my fault that you're volatile, it's also not my fault that you are on nairaland forum. Just don't let the frustration make you beat your child to stupor for some little thing. Coz your comments reeks of your current situation. |
engrsyer:Who then is to blame? You all want Nigeria to be great in a second when the so called fathers have shared all the good things available and hide cash in septic tank. I want to ask you, can you list 3 things you think you'll do if elected president that'll; are this country great in 4yrs? |
With all the parts of this Jonathan's book. One wonders if there's actually anything to gain from it than all these political stories. Stupid Ex presidents. They did virtually nothing, they won't advise on the way forward, they'll castigate others. He said he had no shoes, ASUU strikes like thunder under him. Now some people would come and say he conceded victory is his achievement. Too sad we don't even know what good governance is anymore. I'll vote myself. |
jamace:Might be true. But he ran a ridiculously porous government in terms of corruption. See lamido sanusi lamido's comment about the federation accounts during Jonathan's administration. it ultimately put us in recession. |
OreMI22:The statistics show how much is being looted in previous administrations and it's adverse effects on the next one. |
No one should fail to commend Jonathan for showing us good democratic and patriotic behavior and example. But all you need so in Nigeria is get elected, steal and loot as much as you can, endure all the castigation after your tenure (but you make sure you've done like just one major project each in like 3 sectors), then come back 4yrs later and write a book. you'll be a hero. And even the common man on the street would say you can't be probed. This is Nigeria, So many gullible people claiming to be the electorate. |
thinkdip:CLEAR CONSCIENCE?? Only one example I go give you... Do you know alameseigha? Jonathan granted him pardon after stealing billions. |
I know lots of people are waiting to comment 'bleaching this bleaching that'.They are the same guys that admire these ladies when they see them and won't stand anything natural. they can't be innovative or intelligent enough to own a company in naija, let alone employ people. They just sit somewhere and enjoy unwarranted castigation. I've always said its stupid to be intolerant of the choices others make with their lifestyle especially ones that are liable to hurt no one but them. You think some white people don't hope to Av creams that can make their skin black? some even sun bath. And open your brain before you quote me that trying to look good is not a crime, nor a sin and everything has moderation. |
globemoney:Fashola will be president someday. watch out. And I believe in him. |
