Soyiga: popular Nigerian songwriter, Timi Dakolo, has surprised his fans and lovers with a beautiful tribute and a special song to celebrate his wife, Busola, on her 40th birthday.
In a post that he shared on his official Instagram page on October 3, 2024, the singer announced that he composed an emotional and beautiful song for his wife that contains their love history and the essence of their time together.
He wrote, “They said if you fall in love with a writer, you will never die because you would be found in pieces of their art. So, I wrote this song for you and because of you. To remind you that you are like the perfect.”
“See as you fine like 10 people. You are stubborn and like to win arguments but I like am like that. Make I no lie, sometimes I still look at you and still can’t believe you are mine. Every other thing I want to say dey inside the song,” he playfully noted.

Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan has criticized Reno Omokri following a recent post in which Omokri shared a photo of himself shaking hands with President Tinubu at the presidential villa, stating that he spent Independence Day with the president. In response, VeryDarkMan played a video of Omokri protesting against Tinubu during his visit to the UK (Chatham House) during the 2023 presidential campaign.
VeryDarkMan then read one of Omokri's past posts about Tinubu and asked, "Reno Omokri, what are you doing with someone you once called a drug lord? Do you want to learn how to sell drugs? I'm just curious, o; it's none of my business! You can clearly see that you lack integrity.
By the way, I won’t pretend I didn't know that you begged a lot of people to help you meet Tinubu. I saw many people you pleaded with to arrange a meeting. In 2023, you were campaigning for Atiku. I know politics is a dirty game, but at least have some integrity."

I invested heavily, I mean heavily on Solar power infrastructure in my house and I never regretted it since 2022. I can boast of 24hrs free power in my house without useless PHCN light. At night, we scale down energy consumption and ramp up again the following morning.
If you got the money, better stay off FG power supply.
GerogeI: If you are in band A, To reduce your bill, and turn the 24 hours into advantage, 1. Put your refrigerator on half duty cycle, it should be off at night. You either use a timer switch (cost about 10k on Jumia) or you switch it off and on manually - labour intensive. Any night you forget is about 2 kwh or credit units or about N500.
2. Invest in grid tied Solar system. This takes advantage of the 20 hours power availability. You do not need to buy batteries, but you need a good Hybrid solar inverter with grid connection. For every 4 used solar panels, you will produce 1kwh of electricity daily. The more you have the more you produce. As a rule of thumb, each 300w solar panel will give you an average of 50w for 5 hours or 250wh or 0.25kwh.
A normal house with lighting TV and refrigerator, without Air conditioner consumes about 6 kwh daily. Putting your refrigerator on day cycle will reduce 1.5 kwh or credit units leaving 4.5. Adding 5 solar panels, will reduce it to 3.5 kwh. Adding 10 Solar panels will reduce it to 2.5 kW hour. Because you must use lighting and fan at night, you cannot go lower than 2.5 kwh daily without investing in Storage batteries which are the costliest part of solar with 2 or 3 years short life span.
At 2.5 kwh per day your electricity bill for band A will be 2.5 x30 days x N230= N18000 approx. Not bad for 24 hours light.
Exactly I’m on band A.i use nepa for just 3hrs daily.7-10pm to power my batteries.all through the day I use my solar.So solar gives me 21hrs light then nepa gives me 3hrs.I am fine with not paying more than 30k bill monthly.If u don’t have solar on BandA u will die
