Engineering is beautiful...the other day i was viewing a documentry on how jets are manufacturered from start to finish it was really amazing...

Its quite unfortunate that this country nigeria does not encourage manufacturing and production.
Certain policies and right implementations would have encouraged our Engineers to do exploit cos if you check it you will find that our engineers abroad are doing exceedingly well compare to their fellows down here.

Nothing else made the difference but just good policy, conducive and encouraging system.

Mr man, thanks for your power consumption rate calculation. I also observed other peoples loads to power generation calculations. The only thing missing in this criticism of this project is that the core purpose of the project is not understood by the critics.

Firstly, the project is sited at a Village. Secondly,Solar Hybrid Mini Grid is always designed to have a maximum 100KW power generation capacity. Actual power generated will be lower. Solar Hybrid Mini Grid is a rural electrification grid design for few loads. In Kenya, the Germany International Development Agency GIZ was involved in this project few years ago.

This project in Ogun State might have been implemented & supported by the organization that white man represents. Hybrid Grd combines solar, wind and in some cases hydro with generator backup. The purpose is to give rural communities power. If the pilot project works, it will be replicated in other rural communities.

Having observed the behavioural attitude of the housemates in their daily activities in the big brother house, I have come to conclusion that this set has these bad reflects.

1. Nonchalant attitude
2. Irrelevant ego
3. Lazy
4.Uninspiring
5.Lack maturity
6. Many of them dant really know why they are there.
7. Not entertaining

If they keep fielding this kind of set on this program, am afraid the organisers may loose the people's interest soon hence loosing money. To worsen the situation these are happening at a time many potential viewers are still finding it difficult coming in terms with the program.

A good development but not worthy of the hype

We are talking about 85Kilowatts here..oo that is 85000 W now do the calculation and find the actual capacity of load this can carry and if this can serve the populace considering 10 lighting points of 50 watt each on every building in the state.

That is 500 watt per building so therefore 85000÷500= 170 that is to say that this can only light 170 buildings.

You can see that this can not even power the government house alone and few buildings.
