Salvation from GOD's wrath on mankind for sin through The Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of the Living GOD:
Free will v. Predestination?

I heard pastor E. A. Adeboye of RCCG, a.k.a "daddy" [see more below in reference to this his "title" under the subtitle "daddy"; a seemingly prolific man of God & the 49th richest man in the world], in an interview which aired on Monday, Jan 24th 2011 on the show "turning point", say, in response to a question posed, (and i accurately quote),…"when i gave my life to Christ" & if GOD saves us (from what, he did not say), we were "important enough" for HIM/GOD to have done so.

"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34).

There are two primary "doctrines" of salvation: Calvinism = predestination = dating to the New Testament Church era &
Arminianism = free will = fifth century, but grew exponentially in the late 16th century

This issue is so important to discuss, so that we, in examining ourselves are not unfortunately ever found to be trusting in our own righteousness, (which are as "filthy rags" in the presence of GOD ALMIGHTY!)
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities." Isaiah 64:6-7 . If we are truly saved/born again/born of The Spirit… Our righteousness is in The LORD GOD / our Lord Jesus Christ alone, with/in which/ in Whom we must be clothed, if we ever hope to see the Kingdom of Heaven. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit [born again], he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5. The "water" is NOT physical water/washing the body, which is a sign only & not substantive (1 Peter 3:21), but this water, "For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean" Ezekiel 26:34

It's certainly more than expedient to discuss & ponder these things while it is still "to day", (Psalm 95:7-8, Hebrews 3:7, Hebrews 3:13-15, Hebrews 4:7), because apparently, pursuant to the infallible Word of GOD/ Holy Bible, there are many who will say to the Lord Jesus Christ upon HIS return/2nd coming to judge the world…"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23, (Matthew 25:10-12, Luke 13:24-28). Iniquity is sin. Morality/conscience & good works (Romans 2:14-15, John 8:9), even at their best, which are not at all bad things, yea, they are good things (GOD is good - Matthew 19:17, Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19) & they are encouraged by The Word that we do them
(3 John 1:11)…

BUT they certainly are not good enough (of themselves) to be justified in the sight of The Holy LORD GOD for the purpose of being saved (saved from HIS wrath for sin!). Again, they/these things are not good enough of themselves to be justified in The LORD's sight in order to dwell with HIM in the "new heavens and the new earth"/"new Jerusalem" (Isaiah 65:17, Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13 - Revelation 3:12, Revelation 21:2) upon HIS return (or at the time of our sleep/1st death), as mankind cannot save himself/herself. Though, if we "sleep" in HIM, all is well -1 Thessalonians 4:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:10, Revelation 14:13),

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9. Remember, without question, that "all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" Isaiah 64:6-7, and we (of ourselves, but for HIS righteousness), "have all come short of the Glory of GOD" Romans 3:23. (& Romans 3:10-11). Thus, salvation is mercifully given by GOD, solely at good HIS good pleasure, totally independent of anything that we have done, "For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Romans 9:15-17

"No one can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw [helkuo] him: and I will raise him up at the last day."John 6:44, (Psalm 65:4)… The word "draw" or [helkuo] is an irresistible drawing, the same found in these parts of the Holy Scripture, (John 18:10… draw a sword), and (John 21:6-11… draw fish), (Acts 16:19… Paul and Silas drawn into the market place). After The Father has done this [that is, drawn us irresistibly, in HIS great love, magnanimity & mercy & power]… then we fully turn to Him in true repentance, even with weeping & mourning, and on-going obedience to HIM, for then we truly become born of HIM through our Lord Jesus Christ & are thus, from that instant, given eternal life within, and then we learn spiritually, without which we could not, because in Adam, all died… "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come" Romans 5:14, but by HIS/GOD's operation alone, "all"[many] who are called and chosen of GOD are made alive [given eternal life in spirit] in Christ Jesus, The Lord (1 Corinthians 15:22, 1 Corinthians 15:45), not by any mans operation or our own, not based on logic or feelings, - (Ezekiel 37: 1-14)
"But as many as received him[passively, not actively], to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." John 1:12,
"Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved" Ephesians 2:5,
"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses" Colossians 2:13

Therefore, friends, we must be careful never to say (or believe) things akin to "~~the day i gave my life to Christ~~" or "~~the day i accepted Jesus~~" and/or "~~the day i was baptized [in water]~~", etc… relying thereon unto salvation. we can never claim such things unto salvation, (so there is no boasting - Romans 3:26-28), that somehow we had a part in our salvation from the righteous wrath of GOD and the immediate merciful translation "into the Kingdom of HIS dear SON" of us - Colossians 1:13, no matter how small or "great" our actions in the "process" are/were.

If indeed we know The LORD GOD, and more important, are known of HIM (1 Corinthians 8:3), as opposed to (Matthew 7:23), and love HIM whole-heartedly (definition of love for HIM is obedience to HIM/ The Word/ The Holy Bible)…we are genuinely happier when we obey GOD's Word. "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments." Psalm 112:1
If we have a strong desire, love for, inclination to and are in fact doing/keeping/obeying the Word of The LORD GOD as contained in HIS Holy Word/Bible alone (which is the greatest commandment of GOD - Matthew 22:36-38, Mark 12:29-31, Luke 10:26-28), then we are likely a truly redeemed child of GOD/The Lord Jesus Christ, (although, "The Lord knoweth them that are His." 2 Timothy 2:19), and that is no other man's concern. We just do HIS will.

The Holy Spirit, even the Spirit of Christ Jesus our Lord, The Spirit of Truth, Who dwells in us who are truly saved, helps us overcome the lusts of the flesh & undoubtedly & continuously confirms within us that We are truly His (Romans 8:16; [Mark 14:36) - Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6, Galatians 2:20]), helping us walk to a very, very large extent in the ways/commandments of the Word/Bible in practice, despite trials, knowing that "the trial of your faith works patience…"(1 Peter 1:6- cool

, but, and remember… "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." 1 John 3:9, (1 John 5:18). If we try to continue in sin, HE chastens, that HE does, if we are truly HIS, HE chastens & corrects so that we become more and more obedient to HIM, (Job 5:17, Proverbs 3:11-12, Jeremiah 10:24, Jeremiah 30:11, Hebrews 12:6-9)… that we bring forth fruit, by HIM, to & for HIS glory alone, like our Lord Jesus Christ, as we learn The Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:43-45)! … yet/and, "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren." James 1:12-17

All this, not to actually gain/attain salvation, as that would be work…, but out of fear and genuine love of / for GOD (after we've entered into HIS rest/salvation). (Psalm 111:10). Love for HIM is defined in the Bible as obedience to HIM…

"If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15
" He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." John 14:21
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 15:10 
"Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD." Leviticus 22:31, (Psalm 103:17-19, Proverbs 3:1, Proverbs 4:4, Proverbs 7:1-2, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Daniel 9:4, Matthew 19:17, 1 Corinthians 7:19, 1 John 2:3-4, 1 John 3:22-24, 1 John 5:2-3, Revelation 14:12)
"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4

It is imperative that we understand salvation, as it is a very serious matter, particularly when we are hearing and being taught constantly things/doctrines concerning salvation, that are clearly unbiblical! We must, must, must… always go directly to the Word of God/ Holy Bible to see/watch/hear what It/HE says re: the matter, indeed all matters of life… "for man shall… live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of GOD" - Matthew 4, (all the while never ceasing to pray to HIM in humility, by HIS Holy Spirit), … compared to what any man (including i), and especially our teachers/pastors/"daddy's" say "…yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;…" Romans 3:4

"Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me." John 8:41-42.
"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9. Therefore, love the LORD thy GOD & call HIM Father only, if HE is in fact your Father, only because of, in & through The Lord Jesus Christ! Praise GOD!

… moving on….

The most common free will salvation theory?… “[s]say a certain prayer/ "sinners prayer[/s]" and "[s]be baptized in water & you will be saved[/s]", etc… That is a very wrong teaching… "woe is me if I do not preach the Gospel"! 1 Corinthians 9:16… the true Gospel that is! It is wrong because we have to see, by GOD's mercy, what the rest of the Holy Bible in its entirety teaches concerning this very thing, for It is harmonious & TRUE from start to finish. Let GOD be magnified!!!

[b]How then are we truly saved?
"He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Ephesians 1:4… not we choosing or "accepting" Him/Christ Jesus The Lord…
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you." John 15:16
"Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will." Ephesians 1:5
"And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed." Acts 13:48
"But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth." 2 Thessalonians 2:13
"In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will." Ephesians 1:11
"Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began." 2 Timothy 1:9 [/b]

So, if we have truly come to know, trust in, love and obey The LORD GOD of Hosts/our Lord Jesus Christ, it is definitely because of the unearned/unmerited mercy that He has had on us when we were still "dead in trespasses and sins"Ephesians 2:1, and were "captives"… "Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." Ephesians 4:8. Unfortunately captive [formerly, for them who are saved], to the temporary "ruler" of this world who shall soon be destroyed… (Isaiah 14:6[4-17], Matthew 4:8-11, Luke 4:5-8 Matthew 25:41 Ephesians 2:2 (Ephesians 6:12,1 John 3:8, Jude 1:6, Revelation 12:9, Revelation 12:12, Revelation 13: cool

He wrote the names of those He chose in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world:
"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." Romans 8:29
"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him [referring to satan], whose names are not written in the book of the life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Revelation 13:8, (Revelation 17: cool

"Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." Romans 11:5-6

The LORD did not choose His elect/saints in The Lord Jesus Christ based upon knowing in advance who would choose Him, for we have seen, that we do not choose HIM (John 15:16), it applied to his apostles, it applies to us (all mankind), who are all his creation/creatures! - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:1-3 (Genesis 1:1, 21, 27, Isaiah 42:5, Isaiah 45:12, Ephesians 3:9, Hebrews 1:2, Colossians 1:16, Revelation 10:6).
"Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin." (Romans 3:20).
God chose His elect/saints out of HIS grace & mercy, not based on our choice/decision/actions and/or works…yet know, that good works are the result of (the fruits of the mighty Spirit of Truth/Holy Spirit) in us (Galatians 5:21-23, Ephesians 5:9), not the cause, of salvation. "Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." James 2:18, (James 2:14, James 2:17)

Many could/do argue and protest (GOD forbid such), that it doesn't sound fair/right… yet remember, even according to HIS Word(s)…
"For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth" (Romans 9:11)
"As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who are thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why has thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?" (Romans 9:14-21)

Examples of at least two holy prophets/saints of GOD who very clearly DID NOT work for their salvation (by way of accepting The LORD/Christ Jesus, baptized in water, circumcised, or some other type of work)…, yet we know both of them were definitely saved and are of GOD/The Lord Jesus Christ; they are the prophets Jeremiah and John the baptist.
Jeremiah - "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."(Jeremiah 1:5)
John the baptist - "For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb." (Luke 1:15). we know for a fact that they both were saved (in Christ Jesus the LORD for HE is the King Eternal…"before abraham was, I AM" - John 8:58, because He is "the mighty GOD, everlasting Father"- Isaiah 9:6, John 10:30, Revelation 1:7-8, Revelation 21:5-7, Revelation 22:12-14), & there is no Savior besides HIM…. "I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Saviour." (Isaiah 43:11, Isaiah 45:15, Isaiah 45:21, Isaiah 49:26, Hosea 13:4, Luke 1:47, Luke 2:11, John 4:42, Acts 5:31, Philippians 3:20, 1 Timothy 4:10, 2 Timothy 1:10, Titus 1:3-4, Titus 3:6, 2 Peter 1:11, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 John 4:14, Jude 1:25).

Remember, there isn't/hasn't been a single human being on this planet (approx. 20-25 billion have existed up until this time), that deserved salvation from the wrath of GOD, for all have sinned (Romans 3:23) & we're all born in iniquity/sin (Psalm 51:5)… (except adam & eve, who sinned/disobeyed GOD after they were created, adam in whose loins all of mankind was) - (Genesis 3:17, Romans 5:14, 1 Corinthians 15:22).

The LORD GOD is so incomprehensibly Honorable, that in order to pardon/justify any whom HE had chosen to save from HIS wrath to come, HE willingly & voluntarily & very wondrously & incomprehensibly subjected HIMSELF (in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of the Living GOD), to the abasing, horrific punishment (Isaiah 53:4-6, Isaiah 53:9-11, Galatians 3:13) that all those whom HE shall save(d) deserved ("For the wages of sin is death [second death]; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23), that is, the death/destruction of the soul in Hell/wrath of GOD/the second death.

This, what the LORD GOD has done, is extraordinarily merciful… "HIS mercy endures forever", and thus, we enter into HIS rest/salvation without having done any work at all… LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED!!! "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world." Hebrews 4:1-3, (Psalm 95:11, Hebrews 3:10-12, Hebrews 3:17-19, Hebrews 4:9-11). This is the great mercy of the LORD GOD of Hosts. "Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things." Psalm 72:18, (Psalm 86:10). The LORD GOD, HIS infinite wisdom/understanding (Psalm 147:5), and mercy/compassion/righteousness/truth endure forever, Amen. (1 Chronicles 16:34, Psalm 86:10, Psalm 100:5, Psalm 145: cool

. "His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever." Psalm 111:3. "The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works." Psalm 145:17.

We are not to try to convince or save anyone, for we cannot, we are merely to preach the Word of GOD faithfully, in love & authority (by His Holy Spirit/strength/grace)… "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17, (1 Corinthians 1:21)

There are many mysteries of The MOST HIGH GOD that men do not know, nor fully understand because we are finite beings, dust and shadow, but HE is infinite!

The word “baptism” means “to be washed or cleansed.” This has nothing to do with physical baptism, i.e., being baptized with physical water. ("The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ" 1 Peter 3:21).

Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is a spiritual event that only The LORD GOD / The Lord Jesus Christ can do, and does when one truly becomes born again (i.e., eternal washing away of sins). (Not when we want, but when GOD decides in HIS mercy to cleanse us ("For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9).

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" Titus 3:5

When we become born of GOD/ truly born again, it is The LORD GOD Who does the operation of washing us clean from sin in HIS sight - LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED!

The LORD is referring to HIS eternal church which is built on the Lord Jesus Christ, mighty GOD Himself…

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." Ephesians 5:25-27

Of course, per the Word of GOD, we're not to forbid water (physical) baptism (after one has received The great Holy Spirit) - "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?" Acts 10:47, but it (physical water baptism), definitely does not save us from our sins/ wash us clean from sins.

John the baptist clarifies his purpose for baptism and emphasizes the real important baptism by The Lord Jesus Christ unto salvation: that is, baptism by fire/water & Holy Spirit
"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water." John 1:29-31

The apostle Paul's baptism - he de-emphasizes water baptism, & promotes, per The Lord Jesus Christ's command, preaching The true Word / Gospel of GOD:

Thus, the emphasis is on preaching the Word of GOD, not ceremonial signs such as baptism (and circumcision) and any and all other works, because we cannot be saved by any works that we do, it is only by the unmerited, unearned grace of GOD in/ through The Lord Jesus Christ. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17 - "Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved." Acts 11:14

It depends! There are those who The LORD GOD choses from all of sinful mankind, (For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23), to forgive & show unearned, unmerited mercy on, in HIS infinite wisdom & magnanimity, through The Lord Jesus Christ from the very beginning of this world until the end, because The Lord Jesus Christ is the great I AM, ("Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." John 8:58), The "mighty GOD" (Isaiah 9:6), "Alpha & Omega", Revelation 1:8, Rev 22:13.

Those in the Lord Jesus Christ who have obtained mercy & are covered by HIS blood in the sight of GOD/ The Father/ HIM are these - 'Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity[sin], and in whose spirit there is no guile." Psalm 32: 1-2. These are HIS saints/elect/sons in The Lord Jesus Christ. Every other human being who has not received mercy is still under GOD's righteous wrath for sin. "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:4

Simply stated, we know any pastor/preacher/messenger is "fake" or false when what he is saying or preaching, and especially if what he is doing and thus promoting among the congregation is not found in the word of God/ The Holy Bible. Thus, "The LORD has not said", nor has HE instructed, which means that it is apostasy / idolatry (which GOD hates). we must not continue in such things once we see they are wrong & we must warn others. (Read Revelations chapters 2 and 3 re: The Lord Jesus Christ's warning to the churches in Asia Minor that had already started going astray with wrong doctrines & "doctrines of devils" just only years after HIS departure back to Heaven), talk less or rather, much more of now when we're at the end.

We who truly follow/love/obey The Lord Jesus Christ in fact with our whole hearts, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." - John 14:15 (also Matthew 19:17, John 14:21, John 15:10, 1 John 2:3-4, 1 John 3:22-24, 1 John 5:2-3, Revelation 14:12), (not just with our lips - Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:8, Mark 7:6) , we must always search, by GOD's mercy, for truth in His Word & obey in love & fear of HIM/GOD & we must be careful of the very things HE warns about, which shall be a snare to many who are blind,

Example? ~~miracles, signs & lying wonders~~ will be rampant in the last day. The LORD GOD Almighty is a GOD of miracles and signs and wonders, but note, the devil (whom The LORD shall destroy - (Isaiah 27:1, 2 Tess 2:8, Jude 1:6) likes to try to copy/imitate GOD (Isaiah 14:10-17), and will deceive many in so doing. Remember the garden of eden and how he tricked Eve with cunning (see Genesis chapters 1, 2 & 3), he hasn't stopped. Remember when he/devil dared to approach The Lord Jesus Christ in wilderness with futile cunning and misquotes from The Word Himself to try to get obedience to him? (Matthew 4:1-11). Remember the garden of Gethsemane? When The Lord Jesus, in response to the soldiers / guards telling HIM that they seek "Jesus of Nazareth" and He says "I AM HE"(John 18:5-7), and they fell to the ground backwards (which shows The Lord's power over them/reigning fire from Heaven - because no man takes HIS life, He lays it down of HIS own & takes it up again at the commandment of The Father. John 10:18). Was the devil not there in judas? Do we not now see all this falling backward or attempting to call fire down from heaven (i.e., being "slain in the spirit", does it have anything to do with salvation of the soul & eternal life? No! or with being slain/killed/destroyed huh

?? Yes. Benny Hinn does this a lot (though he is among many, just look around, chris included), but truly, The LORD shall slay devil & all his ministers/followers when HE returns soon (May 21, 2011), even according to the Word of GOD. (Isaiah 27:1, 2 Tess 2:8, Jude 1:6), though, judgment has begun around the world and in the churches.
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" 1 Peter 4:17

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [sin] "Matthew 7:22-24). A majority of these people can only be from GOD's only, current day temple/churches/heritage where these "ministers of righteousness"(2 Corinthians 11:14-16), who look so clean & nice & misquote the Word of God along with signs & wonders are doing these prophesied things for power, money "filthy lucre" and wickedness.

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" Matthew 7:20 & 7:16, though it is hard to tell without GOD's mercy, they are cunning.

there is no other relevant "temple" in this day (for the past 2000 years) before judgment day other than the churches of GOD,, HIS Word says so, HIS Word is true, it is happening now until judgment day, has been happening for a while.

There is no doubt that our Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles actually cast out devils from people (even till this day, only when necessary), but those miracles documented in the Bible (confirmed The Lord's great power & authority). miracles just like - healing lepers, paralytics, opening the eyes of the blind, , even the signs of circumcision, baptism, etc were/are only signs of how GOD heals/saves the soul, giving eternal life within through the "hearing of the Word of GOD" (Rom 10:17).

Think about it, after a man is healed today from whatever ails him in his physical body, , what then, ? He's not going anywhere with that body (1 Corinthians 6:13, Romans 7:24), but we who are truly saved & truly born again await from GOD a glorious, eternal body:
"Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself" Philippians 3:21, (1 Corinthians 15:51-53, 1 John 3:2).

The true Gospel of GOD is not about tokens/signs meant to distract, extort & deceive, they are tokens/signs of something more miraculous/significant (eternal life in the soul, which only GOD does). But as many as received [passively] him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-14

It is about salvation, substantively, "saved" from what though? saved from the wrath of GOD for sin & the reconciliation of many men/women back to GOD through The Lord Jesus Christ (The only Holy One who could pay the huge penalty for the sins of those HE saves (Acts 4:12), after adam fell in the garden & died, both spiritually (Spirit of GOD no longer in Him (Gen 2:7 - every human after that is born spiritually dead), & physically (we're alive but we all die), ("But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."Genesis 2:17), thus ", as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

One cannot preach The Good News of The Lord Jesus Christ dying (and gloriously rising) in place of a sinner without saying what the penalty of the sin is. The true Gospel of the LORD GOD/ Jesus Christ is this:

There are certainly instructions/laws/commands of GOD contained in the Bible that we at first glance can generally and definitely discern/understand because human beings created in the Image of the Invisible, Immortal, Mighty GOD, (who has written HIS laws within us), know some right from wrong, though, before HE/GOD/The Holy Father / The Lord Jesus saves us, effectively translating us into The Kingdom of HIS SON, The Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:13) - (not we ourselves through works because that's impossible), before HE saves us, we are blind, "spiritually dead"(Ezekiel 37:3-5, Ephesians 2:1, Colossians 2:13) & cannot see - i.e. all human beings from Adam are in captivity to sin & the ruler of this world/devil (Luke 4:5-6, John 12:31, Ephesians 6:12) who has a very short time (Revelation 12:12) before The LORD destroys / consumes him (Isaiah 14:10-17, Isaiah 27:1, 2 Tess 2:8, Jude 1:6, etc) -

The things/laws we generally can know / understand? - ("you shall not take the name of The LORD your GOD in vain" and "you shall not steal" and "you shall not murder", "you shall not commit adultery" and "whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart", "cease from anger", "you shall not covet", the law goes on (not just the ten commandments, but all of the Bible).

However, virtually all of the Holy Bible is spiritually discerned (because it is all given by The LORD GOD, Who is Spirit (John 4:24) -
2 Peter 1:21: "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost [Spirit]" & 2 Tim 3:16 ), and we know from The Word that "t[b]he natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.[/b]" 1 Corinthians 2:14. Thus, we humbly (including, especially myself, read & read, i.e. "watch" & pray for GOD's mercy to see), as opposed to reading arrogantly as though we know, when we don't.

Spiritual discernment - understanding
"For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." Matthew 13:15 - the "eyes, ears & heart" are spiritual eyes, ears and hearts that only GOD can give, so we approach HIM and His Word(s) with humility, not arrogance. "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." James 4:6 (also, 1 Peter 5:5)

That DAY (21.5.2011) is certainly very important, as it is the beginning of real judgment (though judgment has begun), but we should be more concerned for every minute we have before then, for many shall die before that day, and for them (if they have not obtained The LORD's mercy through The Lord Jesus Christ, believe in Him!), they shall sleep/wait until that DAY ("And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Heb 9:27), "GOD is a just judge" (Psalm 7:11)!. Just pray for HIS mercy, read the Word & wait on HIM, because only HE can open "eyes", "ears" & "hearts", only HE can save.

Revelation & Daniel are inextricably linked (not an intellectual exercise!). The image/statue in Daniel 2 (head of gold, then silver, bronze, iron, then iron & clay are all the empires of the world from the babylonian empire's destruction of Jerusalem in 587 b.c., to the persian, then the greek under alexander, then the roman empire, then british/american,, rest of the nations), which are falling apart in one way or the other today before our very eyes (i.e., clay & iron), They all have served their purpose(s), (note that the greek & british/"empire on which the sun didn't set" have facilitated the unification of language (greek & then, english) to facilitate the spread of the Word to every creature, ", as have advances in technology, not my mans design or wisdom, But The LORD GOD - "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14

The stone that is cut out "without hands" is thrown at it (the statue), & it shall be no more, as will be all the kingdoms/nations of this world upon GOD's return to judge soon - judgment has begun. Revelation 11:17-18. By HIS mercy, the signs are clear (many real signs on this planet & many real, clear signs in the universe), but many will dismiss them, to them, and even to many in HIS heritage (the churches - for "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [sin] "Matthew 7:22-24), though HE truly saves many therein, but to many, unfortunately, HE shall come as a thief in the night. (1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Peter 3:10). We should take this seriously, search our hearts (because HE will), read the Word of God, & pray for mercy because there is no human being that deserves mercy, but The LORD GOD has been & is merciful through The Lord Jesus Christ, the only propitiation [atoning sacrifice] for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Without question, and pursuant to the Word of GOD found in 1 Kings chapter 3: 5-14, when directed of the LORD GOD to "Ask what I shall give thee", king Solomon responded, by the mercy of GOD, "Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad:…And the speech pleased the LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing." king Solomon neither for "long life", nor for "riches" for himself, nor for "the life" of his enemies, The LORD granted his request, that is, "a wise and an understanding heart", so that "there was none like" him before nor after him till this day. (2 Chronicles 9:22).

The LORD also graciously granted him that which he hadn't asked…"riches, and honor", "so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days."

king Solomon, "the Preacher", (undoubtedly while under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit), declares: "[b]I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards: I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits: I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees: I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me: I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts. Riches/ wealth are certainly not bad of themselves, but/and it is definitely a huge mistake/error to place emphasis on them (riches/wealth/and all that which perishes), and dwell on them, even and especially in practice and in prayer… "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but The LORD's words shall never pass"… Matt 24:35. Amen! Although, we are are commanded/instructed by The Word definitely not to sit back & wait to be fed or be lazy/"sluggards" (consider/"go to the ant"… Proverbs 6:6-11)

The Word of GOD commands, "Let your conversation [conduct] be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5; (Luke 3:14, Philippians 4:11)
The WORD / The Lord Jesus Christ Himself says:

Certainly, the issue of tongues is worth discussing because it is very, very prevalent in this day, increasingly so, and that without rule or restraint, contrary to the Word of GOD. So, lets briefly & humbly, yet firmly examine together.

Note: The only biblical reference to the heavenly language of tongues is found in 1st Corinthians, that is, (the spiritual language from GOD, not the "native or mother tongues" in which the apostles spoke (in Acts) to people from different countries/region who they publicly addressed… ("And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?" - Acts 2: cool

The GOD given rules/ principles re: tongues -
1. There must always be an interpreter when someone is speaking in tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:27;
2. No more than three people are to speak in tongues in an assembly/congregation. 1 Corinthians 14:2; (humbly, not judgmentally, …i've been among people/friends all yelling in "tongues" while in prayer… no one interpreted…"If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?" 1 Corinthians 14:23. This deserves caution! (one toward another, based on the Word of GOD)… Not our way, but the LORD's way, otherwise, we are in error & must correct;
3. The gift of tongues was established by GOD primarily to bring the message of the Gospel to unbelievers, not believers. 1 Corinthians 14:22
4. The purpose of tongues was also to edify the church -1 Corinthians 14:26;
5. God distributed spiritual gifts as He saw fit. 1 Corinthians 12:11;
6. It wasn't GOD's purpose that everyone have the same spiritual gifts. 1 Corinthians 12:30; and
7. The gift of tongues is the least important spiritual gift given by The LORD 1 Corinthians 12:28.

"I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied [declaring the Word of GOD, from the Bible only, in truth]: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying." (1 Corinthians 14:5).

The value of tongues was in the substantive content, not the actual or perceived/made up experience… & without interpretation tongues was considered useless (1 Corinthians 14:6-19).

From the above and below, using tongues as language for personal prayer contradicts the reason why GOD gave it. The church at Corinth (the only one in the Holy Bible in which the use of tongues was briefly documented by GOD) was already abusing it… we must be careful not to carry on in like manner re: such gifts/signs, such is apostasy.

A sign is a token of something much more phenomenal, that is, "something material or external that stands for or signifies something spiritual", "something indicating the presence or existence of something else <signs of success> <a sign of the times"… 1 Corinthians 14 shows that members of that church (not every single member apparently, but many, & thus generally), were undoubtedly more interested in the phenomenon of the sign/gift of tongues, rather than in its substance… that is the receipt of grace & mercy & eternal life in/through The Lord Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Gospel of GOD's salvation for mankind.

We all must be careful not to abuse spiritual gifts (tongues, miracles, signs) contrary to the Word, and to the extent that they become a real distraction away from the true message of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (Which is…
▪ "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23,
▪ "For the wages of sin is death [the second death,, of the soul]; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 ,… for

Another word of caution to us all (from the Word) re: messages outside of Holy Scripture that are reportedly from GOD in form of tongues & the like… The Word of God/The Holy Bible contains more than enough message(s)/revelation/Good News regarding salvation and more, from The LORD that we can ever dream or hope to receive & understand in our lifetime (accumulated over time, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" 2 Peter 1:21 & "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Timothy 3:16… all ending with GOD's/The Lord Jesus Christ's revelation to the apostle John in the aisle of Patmos, approx. 62 yrs. after The Lord's glorious resurrection, praise The LORD!

It is reasonably conceivable that no man, (or woman), especially in these days has fully understood the entire Bible/Word of GOD/Wisdom of GOD. Thus, we are cautioned to focus on the written Word of GOD only… the answers, all the answers to life are contained in the Word of GOD alone. Once we step out, there are no guarantees of truth, and thus no "safety" regarding messages/gospel(s) we receive outside the Bible.
"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." (Proverbs 30:5-6)
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book."(Revelation 22:18)

I greet you all, humbly, in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ/THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, (Deuteronomy 6:4)

The only authority on which we all should rely for everything is the infallible Word of GOD / The Holy Bible. Anything outside of it cannot be trusted, especially the words of men, (especially HIS "shepherds/preachers/messengers, including & especially myself), "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar"- Romans 3:4. Therefore, we read & check the Bible in humility, as little children ("And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3)

Not reading as though we know all based on pre-conceived notions falsely taught to us or on selfish desires, that is creating a "graven image" or a "likeness" in heart thereof of a god that we want (Deuteronomy 4:23), not GOD ALMIGHTY who is The great I AM & Who reigns forever! Riches/ wealth are certainly not bad of themselves, but/and it is definitely a huge mistake/error to place emphasis on them (riches/wealth/and all that which perishes), and dwell on them, even and especially in practice and in prayer… Heaven and earth shall pass away, but The LORD's words shall never pass… Matt 24:35. Amen! Although, we are are commanded/instructed by The Word definitely not to sit back & wait to be fed or be lazy/"sluggards" ("consider the ant"… Proverbs 6:6-11)

By the mercy of The LORD GOD in/through The Lord Jesus Christ, The SON of the Living GOD, i am indeed very humbly born again in the real sense of the word, born of water and of the Holy Spirit. Whether you believe or not (and I hope you all do to the extent that The LORD GOD saves in HIS mercy through The Lord Jesus Christ, The SON of the Living GOD), all our hearts should urgently enquire, for before that DAY,

"it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"(Heb 9:27), that is guaranteed! Do you know anyone older than 140 years?

So, do not simply dismiss this Biblically based warning for any reason. Read the Bible & pray for mercy because The Holy Bible is more than "a book.", It is the infallible Word of GOD. Observe real foretold signs seen all around the world & our universe. The LORD is merciful.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:1-3

"To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." Heb 3:15!

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)!!!

The true Gospel of GOD Most High is the above, and this - "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die"(Ezekiel 18:4). All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God(Rom 3:23). "As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live:"Ezek 33:11. There is none other for salvation from the "second death"/death of the soul for sin than The Lord Jesus Christ, The SON of The Living GOD (Acts 4:12), "So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of GOD" (Romans 10:17).

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and find pasture, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." John 10:9-11. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" Ephe 2:8.

"What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Romans 9:14-16

Re: any who say, (and there are so many who say), "no man knows the day and/or hour, not even the "Son"", yes, The Word/Bible says that, but find out what "Son" means in the original language & context. There is no way that The Lord Jesus Christ, The SON, "mighty GOD", "Everlasting Father" does not know & does not warn just before the time, like HE has always done through the prophets of old and today!!! Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matt 24:44 & 25:13), IT IS IMPOSSIBLE for the SON OF GOD, The Lord JESUS CHRIST Himself ("everlasting Father", "mighty GOD"-Isaiah 9:6) not to know when HE's coming to judge the world. Everything has come to pass and shall come to pass.

"For I am the LORD, I change not," Malachi 3:6,
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."Hebrews 13:8
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." John 8:58
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7-8

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?(John 14:9).
"I and my Father are one." (John 10:30.), (see also John 17:22). For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7). Many mysteries of The LORD GOD of Hosts remain mysteries with men!

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8

These are not "scare tactics", this is truth, whether we like it or not. The LORD reigns!!! May GOD bless you all.
