maekhel: Can you please enlighten us on how those CBT questions are? Well, they are questions u answer on PC connected to a NOUN server in your study center.Majorly, they may come as objective(meaning with options as answer) or as type-in-the-gap(fill in d gap). These MTH courses u are talking about will come as both with 35 questions for u to answer. Your tma might not be repeated,so u need to read wide. God bless you |

Secondly, my study centre is indicating ASABA in my portal instead of PSI Abuja, Should I be worried? i think you should be worried about the issue of your SC, b'cos that might affect where u are going to write your exam.Go to your SC to rectify this and u can also drop the said course there as well. |

maekhel: Hey guys, for the those of you that one way or the other took or is taking the Mathematical Methods 1(MTH 281) course, what material did you use or are you using to study, because the course material for the course on the courseware is so fully of typos and not easy to follow.
And again the TMA for the course consist of 10 questions each unlike the others that contained 20. Try and get Engineering Mathematics by K.A Stroud.......... Pls don't count on that material,u can only use it to guide u thru the study. Wish u well |

Well......people,this forum has been of a great help to most of us.It is a pity things has started turning this way.We actually don't need to encourage fellow students to buy TMA,in my opinion.By doing this we are encouraging laziness and if we noticed, several people are coming up with there own company(selling solved TMA). Guyz,i also do helped fellow student and friends to solve there TMA,but i make sure they understand what they are answering because that is the essence of academics sir.May God help us all, exam will tell if u actually do your TMA or someone solve it for you. |

SQLmastar: thankz. But Wat I mean : must One register both 1st & 2nd semester courses all at once ? Ie can one register courses during 2nd semester Sir,I will advice that u first focus on registering 1st semester C(compulsory) courses and if after that u haven't hit the 24unit max cap, then u can go for courses in 2nd semester. Pls note that some department like mine makes it mandatory for us to register at least one E(elective) course per semester. |

ebiye55: Bros MiniHANS, good morning. Pls can u explain how i can pick the courses i am supposed to register for this semester, electives vs. compulsory with no. of max units.
+ I am supposed to register any 100L course?
I am 200L Comms Tech, McCarthy SC.
Thank u Let me try and help, once u have paid your compulsory fee and u still have enough left in your wallet. Go to course registration in your portal and tick those courses that has C behind them for this semester. Have it at d back of your mind that the max u can register per semester is 24 unit,so u have to give preference to your C courses first b4 considering the E courses. To know which course is for which semester........ they normally write it there and if not look for d codes, the ones that ends with odd numbers are usually 1st semester and even for 2nd semester. Lastly,u will need to do some of the 100l Gst courses, very important and pls make enquiry the more at your SC. Best of luck |
