Dangote refinery is not comparable to this project because that refinery project was being driven by an individual businessman whose motive is to make profit. He can borrow money for the project and payback with revenue from the refinery. This road is being built for the benefit of the public using LIMITED public funds.

In addition to the Aviation College in Ebonyi, Ebonyi also needs an Airforce Base. Another runway should be added to the dormant Ebonyi airport for airforce military activities.

This is because South East has no airforce base. Ebonyi is ripe for it as its airspace are largely free whereas Enugu is too congested, likewise Owerri airport is congested, and Anambra airport as well.

In addition to the Aviation college, Ebonyi needs an Airforce Base and a runway for their activities next to the Ebonyi airport.

If the Ebonyi airport is dormant, then what is the need to build another runway? Won’t the logical thing be to use the already built runway?
