Bigmanpickin: I manage a computer school which I am the manager, instructor and secretary all rolled into one with a meagre pay which I am managing, because it's close to my place and I don't have much mouth to feed.
Of late my boss have been giving me trouble. In this pandemic times he expects me to show up at the computer school every day. I'd told my students to stay at home for the lockdown period which he is in support of. I don't understand my boss most times, it is not that I have problems showing up per say but he expects me to be showing up at the normal time and also leave same. I work from 9am till 9pm everyday except Saturdays and Sundays.
I just told him I can't be able to do that because he is yet to pay me salary for last month and I don't think he'll pay for the overtime.
He was just shouting for me this morning that a student came for enquiries at the early hours which I wasn't around to receive the person.
Do you think my boss is being unreasonable

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Sunday announced that his administration has set in motion the platform for the distribution of food palliatives to Rivers people following the sit-at-home directive to check the spread of coronavirus.
Addressing journalists in Port Harcourt on Sunday after inspecting the State Food Bank established for the distribution of the food palliatives, Governor Wike informed that a State Committee will be set up to implement the distribution of the foodstuffs.
Governor Wike was accompanied by Service Commanders who are members of the State Task Force on Enforcement of the Ban on Public and Religious Gatherings .
He said: "We inspected where we kept the relief materials for our palliative programme. Our intention is to ensure that we mitigate the impact of the sit-at-home directive.
"We are going to set up a committee for the distribution of the foodstuffs meant to serve as palliative for Rivers people. "
At the State Food Bank , the State Government has rice, garri, beans, noodles, yam, palm oil and salt to be distributed to the less privileged in all the 23 Local Government Areas.
Governor Wike warned against the politicisation of the fight against coronavirus, saying all stakeholders must make sacrifices.
"We say to our people, this is not a time to play politics. Nobody should play politics with the lives of people. Everybody has to make sacrifices to make sure everyone stays alive," he said.
The Rivers State Governor said that the State Government is prepared to tackle the deadly virus.
He said: "For now, we are not hundred percent ready, but we are about 90 percent ready. Luckily for us, we have no serious cases.
"The confirmed case is doing very well. They have sent her samples and it came out negative. The final sample has been sent and we are expecting the results.
"We are doing quite well. All members of the security council are working together to ensure that we prevent the spread of coronavirus."
On the monitoring of compliance by Churches, Governor Wike said the Task Force is happy with the level of cooperation from the Churches.
He said: "We are happy with the level of compliance that we have seen throughout Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas. The churches complied."
The Task Force monitored compliance at Omega Power Ministries, OPM, Saint Patrick's Anglican Church, Rukpokwu and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chaplaincy, Catholic Institute of West Africa, Rumuibekwe.
Governor Wike also inspected the progress of work at the State Isolation/Treatment Centre under construction.
"We have visited this location to see the readiness of the isolation/treatment centre in Port Harcourt. Even though they failed to deliver the job on Saturday as promised, we are confident in the next four days, it would have been completed", he said.

Coronavirus: Pastors are not ordinary people, anyone who assaults a pastor is in danger – Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has warned against the arrest and assault of Pastors amid the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country.
The founder of Loveworld Ministries a.k.a Christ Embassy said this while reacting to a report of Pastors being arrested by government officials in a bid to enforce social distancing in churches.
Narrating a recent incident which played out, Pastor Chris recalled how a member of a taskforce boasted about arresting a Pastor.
The Christ Embassy Founder said;
“He was excited he arrested a Pastor. Terrible! But he is not the first to arrest a pastor. Jesus was arrested and Jesus was doing what the people didn’t want Him to do and the Apostles did what they were not allowed to do. The Government said, ‘Don’t preach in this name anymore’. They went on preaching. Right?! They arrested them.
"So it is not enough to say, well, if you do what the Government say not to do, then we have the power to arrest you. Arrest! That Pastor was not the first person to do what Government said don’t do. When I heard of it, I didn’t judge him because what if he was praying and that was the guidance he got?"
Pastor Chris who stated that those who arrest Pastors are in more danger than they can imagine, added that Pastors are not ordinary people.
He said;
“Let me tell you, it is not everyone that will take some of the steps that we might take. Not everyone. The Holy Spirit knows exactly how He wants things done. It’s up to Him. What I’m always saying is that, anybody who assaults a pastor is in danger.
“He is in more trouble than the Pastor. Pastors are not ordinary people. If you like you can call them ordinary men, that is up to you, but the Spirit that works with them, when that Spirit is fighting you, nobody can help you. No amount of prayer, no one can help you.
“It is only people who say they are Christians that fight ministers of the gospel. Others when they know, they remove their hands, He is a pastor. They shift away, but the one that is a Christian is bold, he enters the church. So, if you are a pastor and they assault you. Don’t feel bad, you are not the first, don’t feel bad. But, for the rest pray for your pastors, remember to pray for them. Never condemn a pastor. Never. Don’t ever do it. Don’t do it. Don’t join those who do it. Don’t! Keep your mouth to yourself.”

Truth remains,our govt slept till the virus built it's web.the airports Suld av been shut with the italian index case.and all in coming flight passengers proper checked b4 discharging them.imagine atikus son's story of how he came into the country , socialized ,went home & even refused to go for test.
This virus is imported.meaning the containment on this side of the world was very feasible had the right measures been taken
