martowskin1: Are u guys seeing what is happening in the US, if we are to face same situation, do u think we have the capacity.
China was able to protect Benji , Shanghai', there major power cities by total lock down. Now they are back and smiling .
the so call US that refuse total lock down, tell me how far....
1million ways to kill a rat bro,if not that Nigeria under utilizes it's herbal resources, we will av been prepared for this kinda pandemic.or r u saying the cure can't be found in herbs too.there are many ways to solve issues.like it or not,it's an imported virus, meaning it came with folks that came into the country from affected cities.being that, lock down can't be the only measure so far.
There r states in Nigeria witout the rate of increase Lagos & abj is witnessing.maybe because the numb of ppl cuming in from the high risk countries & states aren't much or some other reasons.
laurel03: media sense.. Most of you outside Oyo should always ask for images of GSM projects.. Especially not anything Ajimobi almost done finished before he left. I am Anti Ajimobi but Seyi is still performing below reasonable people expectations in Oyo state forget media and polongo system of government seyi still Audio Governor.
Your yard stick is obvious sir, projects is that the only performance yard stick for administrations?
donbachi: See governor wey him thinking faculty get departments wey dey study;humanity 101,conscience 111,love 221 and consideration 301....always putting the people first, that is wat true governance is.
Don't mind those who just want to talk .that's one of the only thinking govnrs of the current adminstration
sammyj: This man lacks deep thinking or does this implies that all Oyo state residents are already infected or sick Because from a professional point of views and recommendations from WHO and CDC only medical personnel and sick people should be wearing face masks!!
So that's all u see in his statement? That lil flaw?
afroniger: Enough of the false hype. Time is fast running out so he needs to come up with a definite plan. As we speak the state is operating as if there's no governor in place. Life's still going on as if there's no coronavirus, perhaps the ONLY state in Nigeria that is still doing that even when states like Anambra that don't have a single case are being more proactive. If he truly put the people first as you claim he wouldn't have held that infamous rally against better judgement. This sychophancy of the governor needs to end if he's to make progress. He needs to act NOW, enough talk please.
Pls cross check ur facts b4 stating.theres is strict curfew from 7pm to 6am daily,& the task force are doing their best dispersing ppl gathering more than 30.
Guestlander: What is the definition of a destructive criticism? The president is not a king. He was elected to serve the Nigerian people and Soyinka's question is absolutely legitimate. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion. If Soyinka wants to talk about lockdown you as citizen can also raise the issues that are important to you.
iamdrfresh: A lesson to all ladies out there to never ever depend on a man for survival. You want real respect, u should have ur own money!
The only thing she has always had to offer was her p**sy.
You want real respect, be independent!!
on a second thought, this could actually be to promote this show of hers!
& Maybe stop pretending to be comfortable when u actually not.esp on social media.many doubt her pain based on the radiant lifestyle she was always promoting
Blainz: The extension ought to be automatic for all loan apps until after the pandemic. Other countries have given strong directives on all loans of such. It is also a form of palliative.
Write them a letter explaining ,if they don't be reasonable about it .I want to believe it's a case uld win in court
Guestlander: You should ask if the people you elected to serve you in the national assembly for the purpose of making laws for the country are actually earning their pay.
That's off point.am against ppls destructive criticizim of every measure the president makes @tm even tho it comprises of incomplete, biased measures (not a supporter or any party,Neva ever voted too). If soyinka spoke about how the millions of Nigerians will get money to feed,or isolation centers being of standard etc,ild aplaud him in opinion (my opinion).do u get my point now sir?
Guestlander: The president is not a lawmaker, he can propose a law but he doesn't make them. He also doesn't have any powers outside of those granted him by the constitution.
Does that mean Suld he wait for the consitution to be amended 1st b4 he acts on an emergency sir?
helinues: Exactly what I said on the other thread.
Yanga sleep, dey snore, Dem go wake am..
See heartless people below that are not resident of that area hailing the guys..
How about the innocent people?
I see ur point ,but wat happens if a mob decides to besige the troops in large numbers, won't they be caught in a decision of aving a massacre on thier hands & running for thier life's.there for causing serious unrest in that part of nigeria?
I think I prefer the "paid -propangandist" lash.he said you (prof) can write a fiction if the pandemic after it's over.lwkmd
So ppl just give destructive criticism, just so their voice will be in the midst .wat has your efforts been to assist ppl who can't buy food in ur neighborhood talkless of the world @large apart from big-grammar-laced criticism.
In the end, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.wateva he does will be judged.some learnerd ones can become nuisances (pray not to av em in ur landlord association meetings).& Set backs to common progressions .
I support only good deeds & governance irrespective of party (seyi makinde on my priority but)but Wat does he mean by dictatorial tendencies?is the president not a law maker in a way? Anyways ppl will always talk.seeking some kind of relevance for wateva sake
LivingSage: Thanks to God for your health now. Meanwhile, Ehmmm! Ehmm! Ehmmmmmm! Ehmm! Who's also curious to hear what advise he said he wants to give? He's just rumbling and beating round the bush He said nothing at last
His dad prolly put him up for it.he doesn't seem to be prepared for it.his dad Chase's clout sometimes too
A Nigerian man based in Philippines said he was woken up this morning by government officials who gave I'm among others, a bag of rice, noodles, sausages and some other food items as part of governments gesture to help reduce the negative financial effects the sit at home order would have on its residents.
He wondered that if he who isn't a citizen was given such gifts, what then would be given to citizens, and even marveled that the government officials also took him phone numbers and gave him theirs, so he can contact them should in case he needs anything.
He then called on Nigerian government to try and do similar gestures which would go a long way to help its citizens
Truth remains,if this lock down continues, ppl might revolt cos a hungry man who has a family to feed is an angry & vulnerable man take wat happened in warri as a case study.even the soldiers will av a dilemma choosing btw mass muder or running for thier own lifes
TheGiftedOne: Sue the illiterate. After he appears in court more than once, he'll come back to his senses
Make sure u av a receipt of payment with his signature.if not,ild advice u move out & not even think of suing cos you'll lose.i tell ppl, always av a deed of agreement or receipt on majority of ur transactions.
lalasticlala: As they say, "Blackmailers always come back."
58-year-old Nigerian singer, Salawa Abeni, has been forced to release her nude pictures on Instagram to avoid being blackmailed by a certain man.
She said the scammer, who is threatening to tarnish her image and destroy her career of over 45 years, identifies himself as Jason and lives in Osun State.
"Good morning my Family, friends and Fans. I have something very important to tell you and I will really appreciate your audience. I am very disappointed that someone somewhere will try to tarnish my image and threaten to destroy my career of over 45 years.
This morning, I received messages from somebody threatening to expose very old pictures of me and in the process, blackmailing me for money. These could’ve been pictures of me in the hospital or even with my partner, but is this what has become of us?? I plead with everybody out there to be very careful as our current situation has made people very desperate.
I am almost 60 years old, I have worked very hard and made a name for myself for somebody to believe that they can threaten and trample on my feelings, this is very sad. So I have decided to share the messages and pictures sent by this person with everyone for you all to see! Thank you and God bless you! For you the blackmailer, I refuse to be bullied by you as I’m sure that I’m old enough to be your MOTHER!!"
If this is true.all SIM cards are registered & the network suld av it.
I laugh @ppl who think this kind of measure can work here.where we have majority of illeterate & ignorant ppl.even some "over" learnerd ones who see this very differently.let the force continue with thier measures jareh.
You suld hear some ppl talk Abt this pandemic &defying the safety measures, even common hand washn & distancing , itld take u to walk off to stop urself from Geting disgusted
