I'm afraid you merited that baboon and monkey they called for thinking Obi should have stepped down and played a second fiddle in the same PDP we have been voting for since 1999.

What makes you think he doesn't deserve the ticket, and only Atiku does?

Why are you afraid to lay your blames on Atiku and Wike who refused the ticket to be zoned to the southeast?

Lol. You haven't checked iRev. Rigging happened in the North as much as the south. It was survival of the fittest in places where you have the most structure. It was so all over the country, that's what affected LP. Beyond the PUs there were toothless.

What you're trying to say that they don't get is:

Injustice will thrive and no man of good conscience will speak up. Also, when injustice is meted on people like the tribalist up there, NO MAN will speak for him. When an institution as vital as INEC is destroyed like APC has just done, what's your hope for Nigeria. How many institutions are standing upright? Police/Army? Is it NSCDC/DSS? Is it ASUU/NANS? What about our Judiciary? E go reach everybody who seeks justice somehow but can't find it. We will rue the part we played. I have applied for Passport for no less than 10 friends today, more are still calling my number. Those were people who had hopes that Nigeria will be better.

Politics / Re: 2023: Obi Should Let Go, Build LP For 2027 by Hoist: 12:33pm On Mar 01, 2023
NaijaCowFarm:
I am not happy that Peter Obi did not win. There are clear fundamental factors that were so herculean to overcome the very moment LP/NNPP alliance failed.
Now that Atiku is seemingly out of the way, it is time to galvanise the opposition towards 2027. It is going to be a marathon, so let us start now. There is no point wasting resources on election tribunal. With the capacity shown by Obi, 2027 is possible, but we need to do the following:

1. Not waste time and resources on election tribunal, but need to let Nigerians know of the brazen robbery APC governors and Wike perpetrated. If the PDP wants to challenge the results, let them do so themselves, without involving LP

2. Get real political structure for Labour Party across Nigeria. One reason we loss was because we did not have strong roots in the North.

3. Galvanise all elected officials to form a formidable force to take on APC, which is already reduced in strength from 21 to 12 states.

4. Peter Obi and LP should focus on the March 11, 2023 governorship polls. Obi should begin touring states LP won to boost morale of LP supports in the 22 states win high voters. Not waste resources in states like Katsina, Yobe, Zamfara.

5. LP leadership should begin talks with NNPP, progressive still in PDP and form a formidable party with structure, just like what ACN/CPC did. We need to start now.

Lol. What makes you think Nigeria would be redeemable by then? I laugh because you people seem not to know Nigeria's currrent economic, sociopolitical and now electoral status. Bro 16 years (2011 - 2023) of retrogression is no joke. My prayer is that BAT reverses the trend, else there will be nothing left to salvage by any PO come 2027. Our fortunes as a nation is as a race against time. We can only just pray for BAT. Check your budget deficit this year.

If he goes to court, Atiku came second and Obi 3rd
That's was the script written and signed before February 25th. It's not about PO but a region. They preferred to hand over the country to the devil himself if he were on the ballot. In reality, he outscored Atiku. Even Lagos and Rivers alone would have taken him to second place, not to mention Delta, Akwa Ibom, Plateau etc. They shrieked his margin of victory. That's why I don't see PDP as his friend. Both parties used their structures to rape LP on both sides, just that APC was more sinister.

I don't think there has been a Nigerian president who was hated by many before he became president. Even before Buhari became president he wasn't hated as much as Tinubu is currently hated. Goodluck Jonathan and Yar'Adua weren't hated before they became president. Tinubu is the only person who will become president with many haters already on his neck. So I am wondering how very deep the hatred will reach if he doesn't perform well considering the fact that he is already disliked. Tinubu is not president yet and the level of hatred for him is already measuring up to the level of hatred people currently have for Buhari.

I wish him good luck.

No. Feel sorry for Nigerians.

Yes! The act was same in 2019. They will stop the killings for a while, because of the uncertainty surrounding elections. The moment their kin emerges, and they're certain they will have stakes (powerful people) in the next government, they resume the killings but in more brutal force.

Lol. You don't understand. INEC has taken us 23 years backwards in our Democratic norms (back to 1999). It doesn't matter what political choices we make the OUTCOMES will be the same. The ensuing apathy/indifference, will further embolden the political class. When you destroy a very vital institution like INEC, and celebrate it; you kill the spirit of the values that drives it. The masses know it, the politicians relish it. Tomorrow, when those supporting it today desire a change, no one will respond; knowing it won't matter. We are on a long thing.

Osibajo2023:
Peter Obi

Peter Obi of the Labour Party may have lost the election, but he is a winner. There were low expectations, but the results proved that he is now a force to reckon with in national politics. In addition to galvanizing a new movement called the Obidients, he may have been able to influence the election of a few members to the National Assembly. It is still unclear what the control will be. Obi has confirmed what a lot of us have been saying. People of no region or tribe cannot demand the presidency be given to them like it's a dinner plate. They get into the ring and fight. Elections are about the strength of candidates and Obi has shown that, regardless of the party, a candidate can sell a party. I believe Obi has done a lot to show that he can compete with the big boys in the political game. This is because they don’t come bigger than Atiku and Tinubu on the Nigerian political scene. Obi got in and jabbed at the major players. He has earned my respect!

No sir. I would rather plead with him to leave Nigeria's political space for good. Many of you don't know that the greatest lose to many Nigerians in this election is their BEOKEN WILL/PASSION or belief that they can effect change through the ballot. Trust me, a million PO won't get the kind of support/motivation or enthusiasm that graced this election, in the next decades. I personally, won't go near a polling booth again till I leave this country. A country on a reverse can't be salvaged. Our Democratic norms will go from bad to worse (we know Bat's antecedents). Hmmmm. May all be well for Nigerians.

PS. If technology couldn't make things better, what will?

So why is Abdulsalami, the peace accord organiser not speaking up to restrain dissatisfied parties?

It's only an insane person that can believe that APC can win Rivers.

Finally, someone with a thinking cap. Wike is all braun no brain. Overdo. I personally didn't know there were infractions of this magnitude in other places. BAT couldn't have been expecting a win in Rivers, except a sizeable number of votes since Wike and Cole (Amaechi) will be working towards the same goal. Alas, he wanted the glory, as a mancho man. Now, see where we are.
Funny thing is that, his votes are still inconsequential to BAT's performance because North showed up for him. That's the bane of having a friend who talks more than he thinks.

Good one that APC is speaking up.

Nothing must happen to Tinubu mandate. No one should foment trouble as this Nigeria is for all.

I blame ANAP polls in all this, why will they create that false poll to give Obiidient so much confidence and increase their delusion. Now to them they think the election was rigged.

Imagine ANAP saying Obi will win Ekiti state because christian dominate Ekiti. So when Obiidients saw the result , they said it is rigging.
ANAP talk say Obi go win Benue & Akwa Ibom massively, now when true election show Obi losing those states, Obiidents think its rigging.

APC new government need to dialogue with the youth because some of them have been destroyed totally with propaganda. We need the office of National reorientation to wake up and work hard to reorientate some of these youths on social media or else wahala fit come in the next 3 years if we allow them to continue to swallow fake news and propaganda unchecked.

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council on Monday called on the Department of State Services to invite the General Overseer of Dunamis Church, Paul Enenche, over his ‘inciting sermon’ on the pulpit last Sunday.

Also, the APC PCC asked security agencies to arrest two spokespersons for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, Dino Melaye and Dele Momodu, for allegedly attempting to heat the polity through their utterances.

The PCC Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communications, Dele Alake, made the call in Abuja on Monday during a press conference.

He said, “We note with utmost concern those inciting comments and call to violence by some spokespersons for the opposition, especially those from the Peoples Democratic Party. We are particularly concerned and call on the State Security Services and the Nigeria Police Force to immediately restrain persons such as Dino Melaye, Dele Momodu and a certain Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church from their clear call to violence.

So anyone aggrieved should go to court with evidence and stop threatening people's lives over the personal ambition of politicians and tribal sentiments! undecided

But this is not about that, is it? This is about people's legitimate votes being denied them. They're not afraid of losing, but angry about being rigged out. I would have expected the big parties to trounce LP at the polls legitimately as they were sure of, and not give them any room for agitations. You can't Rob someone and expect him not to cry.
