American Cable News Network (CNN) Sports has nominated Super Eagles Forward Ahmed Musa’s first goal against Iceland as one of the best scored in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

A man who claimed his wife died a couple of years ago, got the shocker of his life when he spotted his ‘wife’ in Lagos with another man who was taking her somewhere on a bike.

The man identified as Okechukwu James Uwa from Ezzagbo in Ebonyi state said he was travelling to Aba when he made a quick stop in Lagos to see an old colleague and while moving through Oshodi saw his ‘dead’ wife.

The shocked man said of the incident: my wife died of motor accident two years ago which I have finished her burial but am shocked to see her with a man who was conveying her in his motorcycle. At first, I hesitated until I summoned courage and when I called her by her name, on turning to see me she disappeared.

According to online sources, the man she was with on the bike fainted and had to be resuscitated and when questioned about the woman said he had been with her for a period of 8 months.

He also said that she moved in with him after they met in a church

According to the man: ‘She told me she was all alone in Lagos working but told me she was from Ebonyi state. I have many times requested that I meet her people but she would decline saying that her people are evil’.

Some residents of Biase local government area of Cross River state were seen rushing to the scene of a tanker accident to scoop fuel with buckets and gallons while putting their lives at risk.
It was gathered that the tanker crashed and landed into a ditch, when residents noticed it, they all rushed out to get free fuel for themselves.
This is against the warning by the government for people to stay far from fuel tankers because of the danger of explosion.
The sad incident is coming just days after a fuel tanker exploded on Thursday along Otedola bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where at least 9 people were killed and over 50 vehicles burnt.

A woman has revealed how she quit her job as a prison officer to become a pron star because she was ‘being objectified’ by inmates. According to reports, the woman identified as Isabelle Deltore was fed up with the violence and office politics, but there was one thing that bothered her more than anything – the way the male prisoners looked at her.
So she decided it was time for a change and started paving the way for a drastic career move.
“I was constantly being objectified and was like ‘why not make money out of it’?”, she told news.com.au .
She decided to try stripping and immediately fell in love with it, quickly realising she could make more in one night than she did in two weeks at her day job.
Isabelle, who lives in Melbourne, Australia, handed in her notice and hasn’t looked back since.
Since then she’s been on the front of several adult magazines, had her own calender, runs a successful adult website and been named Miss Nude World twice.
She took the sash back in 2015 and she’s now been named the 2018 chamption.

As expected, the accusation spurred an endless conversation on social media, both negative and positive.

A Muslim cleric has told of how he hid over 200 people, including Christians, inside a mosque during the recent attack in the state, that claimed over 200 lives.
According to the Imam, whose identity was not given, he saw people fleeing Birkin Ladi local government area and could not help but his mosque, for them. The cleric told BBC Pidgin, he hid the women in his house, then took the men to the mosque.
“I first took the women to my personal house to hide them there, then I took the men to the mosque to hide, ”
A while later, some armed men reportedly approached the imam, asking him to produce the Christians their midst but he said he lied that they were all Muslims, begging the armed men to leave laying on the floor.

She went back to Mawuli secondary school to continue her secondary cycle education. In school, she got introduced to drugs and clubbing. She was always sneaking out at night to go to clubs and was constantly chewing weed.
Queen Ascona, as she was affectionately called in Senior high had a nose piercing, long nails, afro hairstyle in Secondary school and instead of her to learn, took to the learning of raps.
After school, she brought her trunk and chop box back home, took money from the tenants and run away to fend for herself. Which, obviously was to take to clubbing and sort of becoming a street girl to survive.
HOW SHE MET HER HUSBAND
According to Ashlorm, she had a younger boyfriend in the UK whom she had a child with. The guy promised to marry her after delivery which he never did, because of pressures from the guy’s family—that they won’t allow him to marry a lady(Ashlorm) who is from a poor background.
She continued that, that got her depressed. And took the decision to marry the old man to prove to her ex that, he isn’t the only one who can travel abroad.
She said she cried profusely after the marriage to the white man because she had no choice than to do that to survive and most importantly had no one in her life at that time to advice her.
In fact, she married without the knowledge of her family.
As to how she met the white man, she explained it was through one guy she met at Circle, in front of the Vodafone office, when she went there to sell pieces of stuff to survive.
She claimed, the guy introduced her into
frauding (what is termed as Sakawa in Ghana), known as “Yahoo Yahoo” in Nigeria.
Ashlorm said, even before she met the guy who introduced her, they had already defrauded the man(now her husband) on several occasions and her role is to keep up the pretense so they can continue to get more money from him.
She finally got married to the old white man as she claimed was a fine opportunity to get out of the country—Probably help do away with her depression.
Even when she got to England it became a tussle between her and the guy who introduced her to the man because they kept demanding money from her.
She finally had to confess to the white man who, in a reaction got her deported back to the country — amidst sleeping with multiple partners because she was addicted to sex.
Back to Ghana, she continued her old lifestyle — chilling, sexing, clubbing, smoking and even selling drugs herself. She met Christ along the line and her life changed and is now an evangelist whose focus is to use the word of God to help people who are suffering from depression.
She advised the youth to desist from wayward lifestyle and give their life to Christ. She kept ‘hammering’ on the fact that her marriage was a mistake and keeps advising the youth not to repeat such acts.

The Ekiti State House of Assembly has suspended its immediate past Chief Whip, Mr Sunday Akinniyi, for allegedly “breeding terrorism, sleeping all through plenary in the last three years.”

According to The Nigerian Tribune, the information was made public in a statement by the chairman of the House Committee on Information, Dr Samuel Omotoso, on Wednesday, said: “the suspension follows series of allegations levied against him by the Leader of Business after due diligence investigation carried out by Ayodele Fajemilehin-led committee of the Ekiti State House of Assembly.”

The statement added that “the suspended Honourable Member was also regularly regular in absenting himself especially when issues relating to his constituency is slated for discussion.”

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), has opined why President Muhammadu Buhari deserves a second term in office.

Mr Tinubu said Mr Buhari should be re-elected because he has kept his key campaign promises to Nigerians.

Delivering his address at the official conferment ceremony of the award of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on the late MKO Abiola on Tuesday, the APC chieftain said the president should be given another chance to do more.

“Farewell to poverty, it’s not a question of a second term – you deserve it. We’re going to work for it, no annulment of it, we are going to win with you,” Tinubu said while describing the president’s bid for re-election as a struggle to expel poverty not only in Nigeria but in Africa as a whole.

“It’s the struggle of Africa to banish poverty. You are investing in education; which is the greatest weapon against poverty, you’re feeding our children, we are no longer paying for darkness and we are able to feed ourselves, not importing toothpicks anymore, thank you Mr President,” he added.

On the honour given to Abiola, the former Lagos State Governor said regardless of what people say, the President should remain rest assured that he made a good move and always has his support.

“You made a promise that you will be committed to transparency, rule of law and bring about compliance with the constitutional democracy, you’ve done it now.

“Yes, the authors, writers, columnists will come up with all sorts of analysis about why you did it, yes you did it.

“The creed of the campaign of the man whom you honoured principally, was hope.

“Thank you for bringing hope back to Nigerians,” Tinubu said.

A 22-year-old man identified as Harrison Gbisanya, has been left with a bloated stomach after undergoing an operation at Ridge Hospital in Accra, Ghana.

According to online reports, Gbisanya had the surgery on January 13, at the hospital after he was referred there from the Maamobi polyclinic to the 37 Military Hospital and then to Ridge Hospital.

Speaking while narrating his ordeal in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5 FM on Tuesday, June 12, he revealed that he went to the hospital because he had stomach ache.

Harrison’s health condition soon became controversial as people keep trooping in and out of the hospital which made the hospital transfer him to Greater Accra Regional Hospital.

He said that after the nurses took his vitals in the hospital, the doctors told him he needed to undergo a surgery, and after successfully going through the process, Gbisanya said he started feeling pains in the part of his stomach where the surgery was conducted.

“I was admitted that night and the doctor who actually carried out the surgery came the following morning and saw my condition and gave me other prescriptions. He gave me injections on my stomach and discharged me”, he revealed.

He revealed further that the situation has worsened since he left the hospital. He therefore appealed to the general public to assist him, as he has no money to go for another treatment.

A pregnant cow will be executed as a result of crossing from her European Union farm in Bulgaria into the non-EU Serbia.

Aprokotown reports that Penka, a pregnant red cow who is due in around three months’ time, wandered westwards away from her herd near the village of Kopilovtsi, straying over the border into non-EU Serbia.

Two weeks later, she was returned to her owner, Ivan Haralampiev, by a farmer over the frontier.

However, Bulgarian officials said the animal must be put down because of strict EU rules.

Penka will now be executed because she didn’t have the proper paperwork — despite being given a clean bill of health by Serbian vets.

“She had left the borders of the EU and cannot be imported back into the European Union,” Haralampiev told public BNT Television Thursday as he pleaded for his cow to be saved.

“A vet comes and orders it to be immediately culled!”

The farmer also lamented how the cow was able to saunter over the border unchecked in the first place. “How come nobody attempted to stop it?” he said.

Although Serbian vets have written a statement saying Penka was in a perfect condition and fit to return home, Bulgarian authorities said she should be put down without delay.

Officials said it was not in their powers to save Penka from the EU regulations.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Office, have arrested a Pastor, James Ezekiel for defrauding an unsuspecting victim the sum of N1,330,000 by deceiving him to enlist as one of the “financiers” of a spurious contract in the sum of N1,800,000,000.00.

Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC Head, Media and Publicity, in a statement on Thursday, said Ezekiel, a purported Presiding Pastor of One Touch Power Ministry, Agudama, Epie, Bayelsa State, allegedly claimed to have won a contract for the roofing of a church cathedral belonging to the Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He reportedly put the contract sum as N1,8,000,000,000 and showed a contract award letter to his victim.

He also wooed his victim to collaborate with him as one of the “financiers” of the contract.

He allegedly promised the victim mouth-watering interests on his “investment.”

The statement added that troubles came for Ezekiel when the victim demanded a repayment of his money with the interests.

“EFCC’s investigations showed that Ezekiel delayed making payments to his victim by deceiving him that he had been paid the sum of N800,000,000.00 Eight Hundred Million Naira only) as mobilization fees for the contract but could not access the funds because “his company’s account had been frozen by the EFCC”.

“He also contrived a fake EFCC’s e-mail message notifying him of the freezing of the account. The victim sensed foul play and petitioned the EFCC.

“Further investigations showed that the Salvation Ministries did not award any contract to Ezekiel and no transfer of N800,000,000.00 was made into his company’s account.

“Besides, the e-mail address he ascribed to the EFCC does not belong to the Commission. The suspect allegedly initiated the scam to fraudulently obtain money from the petitioner and other unsuspecting members of the public.”

The suspect is in the custody of the EFCC and would be charged to court soon.

The United States of America (USA) has congratulated Nigerian youths following the signing of the of the Not Too Young To Run bill into law.
President Buharisigned the bill on Thursday, May 31, 2018.

He had earlier disclosed that he will assent to the bill during his Democracy Day address on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

With the signing of the bill, Sections 65, 106, 131, and 177 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) have been altered to reduce the age of qualification for the office of the President from 40 to 35 years; House of Reps from 30 to 25 years; and the House of Assembly from 30 to 25 years.

The ex spokesman of the All Progressives congress (APC),Timi Frank recently wrote to the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump accusing President Buhari of violating the constitution.

He also called on US President to help Nigerians because the economy has continued to worsen under the current administration.

Frank also alleged that Buhari’s government has been intimidating members of the opposition and the press.
