I spent 7hours on transit at Dubai airpo lookking around their world class facilities with 60mins complementary interment access and free coupon for meal. I chop like awufu no dey finish for macdonalds. 6hrs 40mins to dusseldof. Emirate offer 10mb for free on air and 500mb for 1$

Sorted immigration with 1k. I fix Dem with that because my uncle don gist me say make I put am inside my passport and I just beg Dem say make Dem chk my pali using style to Gv Dem money wit some level of privacy.

I was able to go wit all my food items. With just 1k and others I beg all others ni o point of correction emirate 30kg is NT small o and emirate go feed u ehn wit priviledge of a laptop bag and 10kg hand luggage

Alhamdulilah, I arrived at dussedorlf international airport last night, its really getting cold here, chilling with my chilling wit my uncle and his family till end of Sept before going to oldenburg, to all did preparing for departure aibee, exensiveT, and others wish u safe journeyM..... Word of advice to the newbies.
Please be do the necessary things as required by your school before forwarding your application, as i learnt from eke47 that if possible send a mail to the school for your transcript review prior your application. Apply to as many schools as possible, and write a very good motivation letter. My secret of writing my motivation letter is going to my intended departmental website, read through their on-going researches, stating the name of the researcher, establishing a close proximity with my area of interest and the school area of research.
Most importantly, never feel discouraged by any unfavorable circumstance you may find yourself. The journey begun last summer with 4 schools , 3 rejections, the last admitted me for winter. Intended using sponsorship letter but sponsor lost his job.... But today everything ended well.
Dont forget that there is always a God factor in all our dealings, but the most high one doesnt work on magical template, so do the right thing and be optimistic......truly God is awesome

i remembered the day hollaytan told me he wanted to cancelled his interview cos there was no hope of funding the account.......i felt like crying....

i pray the Almighty Allah send help to every other soul still struggling with funding his/her blocked account...also may Allah make our going to Germany fruitful.

i applied to only two schools
Msc Environmental Governance at Freiburg,
Msc Environmental Management at CAU Kiel.
I GOT ADMITTED AT CAU KIEL.
The application for kiel was online and free of charge,only scanned documents were required and an online motivation letter of not more than 4500 words including commas,full stops and space.
i hope this is useful to someone.

Alhamdulilahi robil alamin, all praises and adoration belongs to almighty Allah. The journey was rough, hope was almost lost, but Almighty Allah in his infinite mercy made ir possible. This afternoon i got a mail to come and pick up my visa from the embassy. To all does with difficulties of funding, dont lose hope, i opened my blocked account without having a dine to fund, but God sent an helper who also helped me to get a job contract in hamburg. Thanx to dis wonderful family, especially those the encouraged me in times of adversity eke47, aibee, xpensiveT, obiwan, dolpaz,bamidele, ghost follower efe, and all others i couldnt mention.
With the joy and happines am experiencing this wonderful afternoon, may Allah make a breakthrough for those in challenges in this journey

Really getting impatient about this visa of a thing fa, enrollment deadline is sept1, even a frnd over there says i can enrol after the date, i requested for enrollment extension frm my school, no reply yet, i sent embassy my payment confirmation last week wednesday, this is the 5th week after my interview, i called the alien office i was told they already gave the embassy the go ahead since they recieved my payment confirmation. Pls i need advice on what to do.

I applied for a postgraduate programme in renewable Energy under the DAAD scholarship this month and Oldenburg told me they will inform me about the result in December. Apart from good result tho (1st), i wrote a good motivation letter and research proposal. I just hope it works out by God grace.

I dont know if Nigerians really get the DAAD scholarship cause have not seen anyone, but there should be some?

I going for msc in microbiology, in sha Allah i will be going by first week in sept once my visa is out

My man, the price doesn't change whether you buy from nigeria or any where. They sell from their website, which doesn't consider location, just the journey itself. I know a ticket for a journey from nigeria is always more compared to a ticket to nigeria

House to wch email do one send the embassy confirmation of payment?

What am really worried about is that the db itself stipulates that confirmation of fund recipt will be sent within two working days, but today makes mine 5working days. I recieved the transfer slip of 6k from my bro 2weeks ago and deposit slip of 2090 k on thursday. I wonder what went wrong with the transaction.........sept1 is really ringing bell aloud

He sent me all the details of the transfer and deposit already, so i guess the origin of d issue is from the db.

fer some fund and we r talking abt8040euro nt naira o,my db acct was credited from London By my aunt i send the total amnt in naira to her naija acct and she transfer the money from her bank in London after 3 days i received a mail from db,we are taking abtsome one transfering money from Germany itself it shouldnt be this difficult u know,i suppose to transfer from Dubai here but the charges illustrated by my bank is too much that is y i used d cheap method o,i be Ijebu man o,try to call db tho they cant give you details abt ur block acct dey r nt licensed to,u might tell dem u want to confirm is any amnt was transfered to ur acct,then also send them a mail too.
