An official in one of the Lg marriage registry in Lagos said there's a fine but was not willing to disclose the amount. I was told they also give returns to their ogas at the top.

From what i could deduce, the so called 'fine' is not official so you just need to negotiate with the officer so you can submit.

cheers. Journey mercies when you travel.
Are you serious?!

Wow God bless you abundantly for the enquiry. I'm so so so grateful. Thank you so much.

I equally just submitted at the local government and that's all. They didn't give anything back to me cos i had 2copies from the church.
Oh ok. Did you delay before submitting? If yes, how long?

If your church is licensed to conduct a wedding then what you were given in church is the marriage certificate. 2 copies must have been issued so you need to submit one of the copies to the lg registry where you initially registered. Nothing will be issued again.

If your church isn't licensed, then it is the registry that will issue you a certificate which must have been done prior to church wedding in most cases.

I wedded in an Anglican church too and the procedure was
-Registering in the lg registry
-After 21 days, a marriage license was issued which was taken to the church
-Wedding conducted
-A copy of certificate was returned to the registry for filing.

Nothing more.

I am guessing the woman just wanted money for pepsi and fanta.
I'll try and help you find out tomorrow if there's a fine for a case like yours.

Cheers.

Oh Thank you so much.

As far as I know you have to submit it where you got married

Also when you submit you don't collect anything again, just submit and go. The church was supposed to give you 2 copies. 1 for yourself and 1 for the registry.

Yes they did. Oh really! The lady said before I submit it now i'll pay the amount bcus of the long duration.

Good day mamas in the house... una well done.

Abeg I wan ask just few questions.. I'm sorry but i'll deviate from the thread.

I got married a year a go in an Anglican church and I was to return to the local government for my proper marriage certificate but I didn't go back to submit the one I was given from the church.. I kept on proscratinating it.. so one day after like 8months past, I got the time to go there, when i got there I met a lady in charge she told me that after 3months of the marriage and the certificate is not submitted that i'll pay the N500 each month.. I had no idea and I wasn't even having money with me that moment.. so i left the place.. Then I procrastinated the thing till now, it's 17months now which I'm to pay 8500 now.. I don't mind but the issue now is I'm about to relocate to another state (Lagos precisely) I'm wondering if I can take the application down to Lagos bcus if I apply here i dunno when i'll be getting it and I have just less than a week to be here and I'm not sure if I apply another person can collect it for me and waybill.

My question now is... is it possible to apply down in Lagos? What are the process and procedures? Durations? Possibility of getting it so soon..
Affidavit too?

Please help me out here. Thanks in anticipation.

evening mamas...is it okay to give my 6months old baby indomie and egg?
Except you'll blend smooth and watery with milk to enable your baby swallow it. But to me it's too early for that. Fruits and vegetables puree is ok.
Health / Re: My 2-Month-Baby Did Not Poop For Three Days, Is This Normal? by HolySteph(f): 5:51pm On Nov 29, 2018
It's normal for infants on breast milk. When you start giving solids you should be worried then.

Good afternoon mamas, I have 2 crèche on mind and I'm at a crossroad on which to pick.

1. It's opposite my house and it's a new school, although they have school elsewhere. they just built this annex in my street. The last time I checked there, they don't have any baby in crèche yet, and few pupils in other classes.

2. It's close to my house too as the street is behind us. The day I checked there, they have about 7 children in their crèche.

Hubby prefers the ones with children, he said DS will have friends to interact with.

Please mamas which one is better?
I'm sorry mama but I believe the more children the high tendency of children falling ill. Less children the less ailment and the caretaker would focus more on your child. My thoughts.

Just got to know d effect of ginger from your post. Can i add raw ginger or I must boil b4 adding it? Also what quantity can I put in her food? Thanks so much.
I don't know about raw... but boiling it before adding would be ok.. what I do, while grinding the guinea corn, millet and yellow corn, I add it together and grind. So when I'm extracting it I do it at once and while making the pap, the hot water in making it makes it cooked.

Supplements don't do shit for her. She'll be hungry but will request for agege bread or aintain or nta(water). What I do is to feed her bit by bit like 5 times in a day with fight.
We've tried: Vitane, well kid, Astyfer.
I'll take 10ml of Astyfer and be shivering for food like someone that was starved.
If you want her to cry or sleep just bring out her plate. grin cheesy
Lol.. @shivering for food.

Moms I'm tired and helpless. Teary even. For the past couple of months we've been battling cough and cataarh. My baby is 15months. Lifeline children's hospital is our go to clinic. In fact they know us there. I've had to buy nebulizer mask cos they constantly Do It for him every time we go there. My poor baby's cough is so deep and I feel so much for him. Don't know what to do again. As wary as they are against prescribing anti biotic there, they invariably have to. We've taken all sorts and kinds. Today now they've prescribed inhaler for him. Don't know te triggers again.

I've stopped regular fan/a.c. usage, in fact hubby moved outta the room for us claiming its too stuffy. I avoid him being around wen cooking things like soup or pepper or using cleaning agents and mosquitoes spray as much as possible. I've informed them at creche too upon that we're still here.

Oti sun mi. (I'm tired ) ive tried all the home remedies I researched here but still it persists.

Have you tried giving ginger to your baby? Ginger has a very high benefits in cases like this. In your baby's pap/ogi blend ginger in it, in any other food put ginger. It'll help cure/relieve your baby from that. that's what has kept my baby from such ailment.

I wish your baby speed recovery.

This worked like magic. Thank you.

Please mamas now I have started flowing, not gushing yet but my baby had gotten used to the bottle nipple and now won't latch unto mine. He's so impatient. But he doesn't mind breast milk.

So my question is can I use electric pump for the whole duration of breastfeeding without needing him to suck from me?
It's your choice if you are impatient to make him get back to sucking the nipples. i'll suggest you keep putting him always to the breast but express milk out for him in case the effort is futile.
