Also, why is watermelon not part of first fruits, I mean to blend and maybe sieve. After all, it's said to be over 90% water.

In addition, what's the longest time you've kept fruit puree fresh at room temperature. wondering if it can be prepared early morning and kept till lunch snack.

One last thing, did you get a dedicated pot for baby's food? And if yes, was it nonstick?

Okay let me answer the one I can relate from my knowledge.

I've not really played around different fruits cus I'm scared of allergy, so I just go with the regular fruits and observe for reactions. I don't introduce any fruit without gaining knowledge or doing a research from Google about their health benefits for babies. So in other words I'm very sceptical about what goes in my baby's mouth.
So I think you can introduce then later combine them but never forget to know their health benefits before giving to baby.



Also, why is watermelon not part of first fruits, I mean to blend and maybe sieve. After all, it's said to be over 90% water.

From what I learnt about watermelon for infants is bcus watermelons(as the name implies 'water') has alot of water in it which is what is known as electrolyte. Infants needs more milk than just water. Secondly, the seeds for infants can be a choking hazards for baby. To me that's just the few things that I know about babies against watermelons but they tend to weigh the disadvantage above the advantage. Watermelon also is good for rehydration.


In addition, what's the longest time you've kept fruit puree fresh at room temperature.

I keep not more than 24hrs. I discard or eat it after 24hrs.

Why not! As long as it's in a cool place. Don't leave it in heated place cus it's a fresh fruit and it's likely to get bacteria if not in a cool place. Banana and avocado should not be stored or refrigerated. Consume immediately.



One last thing, did you get a dedicated pot for baby's food? And if yes, was it nonstick?

Yes I did. But not nonstick. It's a brand new pot from a set I got. It's your choice to go for nonstick pots but be careful bcus most nonstick pots becomes stick pots when the thing supposed to be making it nonstick goes off.. and most times it mixes with your meal, trust me you don't want that for your baby. So if you're getting, get original.

Let me tell u what i do. I buy habib yoghurt, unsweetened one, then add any fruit i have to sweeten it. Most times i give like that or i add to pap. Nagari farm yoghurt is ok too but I just stick with habib sha.

Pls share with me when you get answers. Although I know gerber baby yoghurt is very nutritious. I havnt tried it, couldn't buy cus it was way too expensive. I hope to get someday but if you get other recommendations pls share with me. Thanks

Express Breast milk into the both eyes every time that's all. Everyone that has it can use Breast milk.

My doctor called it allergy. It might be Apollo, Breast milk did the wonders. Express Breast milk into the both eyes, try not to allow the nipple/tip to touch the eyes in order not to spread it.

Sorry ma for d late response. Another mama has already mentioned u for d price list. Preparation method is so simple, u add little quantity of d cereal into a sauce pan, add little water to make a paste and place on fire. While cooking, u will be stirring so as to avoid lumps just as if u are making pap for baby

Thank you so much... he plays alot around the table.. he uses it to stand up but sometimes he forgets it's what's helping him stand and uses it as a playing table by slamming remotes on it. It's well o!... it's been a rough weekend.

In 2006 I bought cheese balls in chachangi airlines.
Now, note this, the pilot said he didn't have change so we made a brief stop to buy fuel at the station so he could make some change.
He tot I had forgetten my change... Hmm.
I kept looking at him from d corner of my eyes.
When we were now passing obalende I called my younger brothers to meet us along d road.
That's how they now deflated the tyre of the plane before the pilot now begged and we now allowed them to fly off.

Am I the only one that bought snack on flight?
There's been an argument between I and hubby about buying of Snacks on the flight. Back in 2012, I was travelling from ph to Lagos on arik airline. An air hostess was passing by with some snacks and I saw a sandwich that caught my attention, very appetizing one. I knew that packaged sandwich already, i do buy it from one fast food close to me, i buy it for N250.. so i thouht it was the same thing.. I had to ask her

" Can I have that sandwich?"
"Why not, it's N400" she replied
I was surprised tho but I still got the sandwich bcus I liked the sandwich. I thought it's the normal thing for passengers to buy snacks on air. Well local airline actually..

So hubby wanted to travel and I told him to take some snacks with him in case he gets hungry with delayed air flight and so he doesn't have to spend some ridiculous amount on snacks..
He started laughing at me, I was confused like a fool, in fact he made me looked like a fool like I don't know what I was saying,.. He said they don't buy food on board.. haba I had to explain with details but he still refused to believe me. It didn't end there o, whenever he sees me he laughs so loud at me for saying such, he even said I shouldn't even say such outside else people would laugh at me more he is doing. Its too much of him.
