So in the name of trying to ditch cereal n pap, I say lemme make home made food for DS... The pic below is what came out n the taste is HORRIBLE... Pls can anyone help me with a guide as to dos n don'ts when mixing pls.... I'll be waiting cos this time n effort I put into this thing is paining ne Never use palm oil and baby formula together but separately. That mixture of food is already enough. |

mitchyy: Even some big supermarkets sell fake. One very big one in my area was the king of fake molfix diaper. The supermarket is almost as big as Shoprite and you would think they wouldn't dare to stock fake. My friends who bought from them hated Molfix, but didn't realise they were using the fake till i asked them to buy elsewhere .
There is a particular lady i buy from, even though hers is a bit more expensive, but i know its original I finally got from the big supermarket, so I and hubby had to look out for the differences between both diapers, my dear the differences was clear. The fake one didn't have a certain design the new one(original one) has, I could feel the different textures, the original is softer and smoother than the fake. I'll try to send pictures of them both. |

hunniesuzie: Yes there is fake. I only ever buy molfix from 1 person and have done that since my baby moved to size 5 Wow! And I've been patronizing this shop close to my house because it's way cheaper than one other big supermarket close to me. I think I'll just go for the big supermarket because I doubt they'll want to jeopardize their business with fake products, I'm sure they deal with the direct manufacturers. Thanks for this my dear. |

Giddyperson: The fake is everywhere. Baby pees once and it will swell like puff puff and it causes rashes. If you buy the original from somewhere, stick to buying from just there, that's what we do. Nigeria is just funny. One very big store near my house is champion of fake diapers, we buy from one woman with small shop by the roadside. I think you're right. But how can someone know the fake one bikonu? I don't want to make the same mistake again. |

Am I the only one who thinks molphix diapers has the fake of it? Since I started using size 5 of the diapers, its has been leaving my young man with bruises. The surface is abrasive. Please mamas if this is true, abeg recommend good quality diaper product I can go for. |

Awesomemama: The school thing bothers me too Maybe you should try finger foods, gave him akara once and he ate like 3 balls He prefers feeding himself too, but makes a mess as he prefers to play with the food than eating it. Only manages to eat few spoons He eats finger foods but makes a mess too but the finger food can't satisfy him(I can't deceive him with that) . He still comes back for his blended food. |

DollyBig: Hi mamas!
I need recommendation on a good soap and lotion for a 6months old.
I have a very light skin baby boy. Up till now I use Johnson baby soap (the yellow packet that is white inside). For cream I use Shea butter mixed with coconut oil and palm kernel oil (I mix it myself)
Recently my mother in law has been on my neck that my baby is getting darker. Please what do you all use for your fair babies? Baby boot soap or sebamed are just the best for this case. |

Frozenelsa: Mamas please, my 3months old baby's body is not smooth atall. He has been having series of rashes, I used tribotan and discovered that when the rashes clear off it leaves yellow or red spots and they are everywhere. He is very fair and this makes the skin looks bad. pls, what can I use to make it clear off and leave his skin without blemish, soap, cream, powder......anything please What soap do you use on him? I used fivicid cream(I avoided him sweating when he is asleep) and baby boot soap when I battled with some stubborn rashes as a result of cusson soap I was using on him. |

My baby is 6month old and he hasn't started responding to his name.....what can I do because am worried It's nothing to worry about my dear, my ds started responding to his name from 1yr that's bcus I shout it when he is trying to disorganize something, I shout it to get his attention away from there that's how he started understanding and responding to his name. Also you can start by helping him know his name in a question and answer moment session with him... Eg "What is your name?... My name is......" like that, so with other parts of his body. |
