^^^^ Where were you people when he started his career? who knew or gave a hoot if he was a Nigerian 6 years ago? just because he's been making waves now, everyone wants to associate with him, because he's having a bad time with the Klitschkos (just like any of their opponents), you lot won't let him rest, always tagging him with bad names and all that. With or without Nigeria, he's gotten to where he is, so no matter what you lot say about him's going to change his script. He can only do his best, and as far as i am concerned, his best is not enough to toggle the Klitschkos. There's no crime in trying, no crime in persistence, and no crime in failing to quit when your eyes are glued to success. |
^^^^ Nah bro, i understood you perfectly and also in agreement, was just funny the way you put it hehehehe ![]() |
^^^^ Good news, this is the kinda development i am talking about. ![]() |
^^ Very funny, well long term traders are still in the race for 1.12xx on eu this year, so don't be surprised if you see EU head down that part, though 1.35xx is also in view. |
What are you people calling Sam Peter an embarrassment is to Nigeria? If Sam Peter is tagged as an embarrassment to Nigeria for trying at least, then you all are a bad influence and a liability on Nigeria for not even trying any feat at all. ![]() |
Red-hot Nigeria crush Chile Email my friend Share Nigeria cruised to a 5-0 win over Chile to claim the top spot and log three wins from as many starts in Group A. With Chile already eliminated, both teams changed their line-ups, but the Africans never lost control and held a two-goal margin at the interval. Forward Loveth Ayila, fresh from grabbing a late winner against Trinidad and Tobago, proved the star turn once again by hitting a hat-trick. Nigeria dominated from the outset, and though Ngozi Okobi was denied by a superb block from defender Yorky Arriagada, the breakthrough appeared inevitable. It arrived on 15 minutes as Okobi’s well-hit free-kick proved too hot for goalkeeper Veronica Saez; Francisca Ordega followed up to convert an easy chance. Ordega then came close to doubling her own tally but her superb run and shot was blocked impressively at the death by defender Yocelyn Cisternas. Chile had a rare moment of hope in attack just past the half-hour mark, but striker Francisca Moroso’s crossed shot was held by Ibijoke Sangonuga. Nigeria extended their lead four minutes from the interval with Ayila converting after taking advantage of an inch-perfect cross by the lively Ordega. Soon after the break, the pair combined again, and after an exchange of passes, Ayila raced clear of the defence to finish past an exposed Saez. Ayila completed her treble on 72 minutes as she fired her effort through a forest of legs from within the penalty area. Though the contest was over, the South Americans, to their credit, looked to fight back when Yanara Aedo struck the crossbar from 25 metres. Then came a pair of chances within a minute for Winifred Eyebhoria, who first shot just wide, before hitting the crossbar from about the same distance Aedo had just a few minutes earlier. Okobi completed the scoring in injury time, with the playmaker collecting the ball in the penalty area before unleashing a shot into the top left corner of the net. Nigeria will now meet Korea Republic in their quarter-final in Marabella on Thursday. fifa.com |
^^^^ Wetin be all these noise for? a poster could have changed the scoreline on his or her headings while commenting on the thread, afterall the headings on other poster's post does not have the scoreline you guys are talking about. the scoreline changed between Aisha2 and Semid4lyfe, so it's arguable that one of these 2 might have put that headings. ![]() Whichever way, the person no try at all oo. ![]() As for those talking about injustice, how many times have you come to create a thread for the female football in the sport board? let's start from there. ![]() |
The match should have started by now. |
supportores why the long letters? can't you guys use 7 to 8 letter words? yusdnr |
^^^ Well, you shouldn't have gone that far, Kano pillars that this same heartland beat 4 : 0 in last years semi final first leg were the ones that removed Al Ahly from the caf champions league last year, the issue is really not the players per say because 90% of the players are still with heartland, the problem came from the management changing the coaching crew and also not paying the players. I blame the management and also the management of Enyimba for allowing indiscipline creep into the elephant's camp after they won the super 4, if they had gone to Zambia with their complete squad, they wouldn't have been out of the confederation cup by now. Anyways, Enyimba and Kano pillars are going to be representing us next season and i am happy it's these 2 going. |
^^ Who dey complain? i dey simply laugh una, the Congolese outplayed Nigerians to their own game hehehehehehe ![]() |
^^^^ Very easy, individually, can you please ask pharaoh to compare these 2 players? laurels and what a view (individually). |
proudly9ja:The same way they couldn't finish off the Zambian teams that eliminated them out of the confederation cup abi? Heartland lost to Al Ahly 1 : 2, but Enyimba lost to Zasco or what are they called self 0 : 4. |
Hercules's 7 out of the 11 players that faced Barca have played us before in their former clubs, don't let the name Hercules deceive you, they have good players too. No. Position Player 1 Spain GK Juan Calatayud 2 Romania DF Cristian Pulhac 3 Spain DF Juanra 4 Senegal DF Mohamed Sarr 5 Spain DF Abraham Paz 6 Spain MF Cristian Hidalgo 7 Spain MF Francisco Rufete 8 Spain MF Javier Farinós 9 Spain FW Javier Portillo 10 Spain FW Tote (captain) 11 Spain MF Sendoa Aguirre 12 Netherlands MF Royston Drenthe 13 Spain GK Unai Alba 14 Colombia MF Abel Aguilar 15 Spain MF Kiko Femenía 16 Spain DF Paco Peña 17 France FW David Trezeguet 18 Argentina MF Matías Fritzler 19 Spain DF Sergio Rodríguez 20 Paraguay FW Nelson Valdez 21 Spain DF David Cortés 22 France FW Olivier Thomert 23 France DF Noé Pamarot 24 Portugal MF Tiago Gomes 25 Netherlands GK Piet Velthuizen They actually have good players, so don't let that name deceive you. All the same, they tried and did what few teams have been able to do to us so far in 2 years. |
I heard that none of the boys that played from us came from the list of the secondary schools boys Monday Odigie earlier picked, he must have used the earlier selection as a disguise just to fool some Nigerians into believing he was different. Well we got paid with our coins, lol, Congo used U-35 to beat us hehehehe ![]() |
^^ Abeg leave the guy joor |
Game over joor, NiGERIA is out of the African U-17 nations cup qualifier ![]() |
1 : 1 so far, i don't think the golden eaglet stand any chance of qualifying, they are surely out because they need to score 3 more goals which is no longer possible ![]() |
Haba father, you are worthy. |
In the long run, EU still got potentials for 1.24/1.22 this month. |
^^ And your point is? didn't we lose a match last season too? did that stop us from winning the league? ![]() |
Great as in? ![]() |
New home indeed ![]() |
^^ Yea no one is unbeatable and for now Sam is not the one to do the beating. |
tpiah:And you didn't read where i included the individual part abi? i am not here for any gender war, it could be true, there's nothing in this world that is wrong, it could be wrong to you but right to others. All the same, it's an individual thing, if you are not meant to be with your partner, it just won't happen even if you give birth to 100 sons or 200 daughters. |
mukina2:Market no good at all, but then we are good, thank God it happened now and not later in the season. |
^^^^ Ha!, you are so unpatriotic ![]() |
I am not expecting any miracle from Heartland, it's just too impossible, but then who knows. |
semid4lyfe: medjai:People like una should know better, the Klitschkos aren't an easy meat to chop off bros, have you seen anyone who has been able to beat these sets clearly? Peter is a strong guy and as long as he's beating others bar these 2, then he's still a fighter. THE TALLER MCcain (obviously taller than the Klitschkos) GOT BEATEN BY THIS SAME SAMUEL PETER, it's not because the Klitschkos are tall, it's because they have mastered their art, they know that if you can't get near them, you won't be able to hurt them, so they have mastered the jabbing art which they use in stopping you from getting close to them (very smart move). I want to see someone with same height or reach like that of the Klitschkos face any of these men, i want to see 50/50. Yes, Tyson fought taller fighters, same did Peter, but when you meet someone who knows how to use his height advantage while fighting, then you'd know height with technical knowhow is the koko. |
It's not going to be easy oo |
Ok, good night, abeg peter, please don't forget to use part of the money to build a boxing center in Akwa Ibom oo, don't spend all on bling bling oo ![]() |
