If Igbos are deported from Nigeria. So be it. No one said forming your own country will be easy. But remember my Igbo brothers and sisters and other parts of Nigeria, those of us who live in civilized nations like the US, Canada, Germany and the U.K. will provide assistance anyway we can.

Na so. I remember some time in 2015. A guy from Malaysia called radio biafra and promised a million naira to the family of someone who died in a protest.

Come and see my hungry IPOB boy looking for aboki to kill so his name will come out on radio biafra. How many of those who died have their family been taken care of as Director promised? Have you guys not spent the last two years using your entire funds for his legal fees?

One man can cook and the whole village will eat from it. If the whole village cooks, one man can not finish it. It's an igbo proverb.

mrrights:

You then appeared before the various Heads of State and representatives of the OAU at Niamey in Niger. I fully expected you to at least accept the world help that was offered your starving throngs. However, you delayed, hoping to use these unfortunates with world sympathy on their side as a tool to further your ambition to achieve war concessions at the upcoming peace talks in Addis Ababa. Thus innocent victims continue to perish needlessly of starvation, the most agonising death that can befall any living creature.

POINT FIVE - This was incredible to me. I am now convinced that I have been used by you and your cabinet to help in military adventures of your origin....using your starving hordes as hostages to negotiate a victory.

It is inconceivable to me that you would stop the feeding of thousands of your countrymen (under auspicies of world organizations such as the International Red Cross, World Council of Churches and many more) via a land corridor which is the only practical way to bring in food to help at this time. It is inconcivable to me that men of good faith would try to twist world opinion in such a manner as to deceive people into believing that the starvation and hunger that is consuming 'Biafra' is a plot of Britian, Nigeria and others to commit genocide.

POINT SIX - I cannot in all conscience serve you any longer. Nor can I be a party to suppressing the fact that your starving thousands have the food, medicine and milk available to them.....it can and is ready to be delivered through international organizations to you. Only your constant refusal has stopped its delivery.
Robert S. Goldstein

This is the simple truth. These leaders don't care about their followers. They use them as pawns.

I remember the Trump protests in February in Port Harcourt. People were calling into radio Biafra screaming about being wounded and shot at. Uche Mefor had no word of sympathy for the wounded and dying. He was only concerned with whether they were taking pictures and making videos.

Very shallow thinking.

First of all, how will you identify an igbo person to deport? How can you differentiate between a Nigerian Igbo and a Biafran Igbo? What of hundreds of thousands of Nigerians married to Igbos, will the government break up their marriages in order to deport the igbo spouse? What of their kids, will they Igbos or Nigerians?

Answer these questions if you think you're smart.

Hmmm...I foresee new tribes being created in the southeast lol....lots of igbos may start to differentiate themselves from Biafran igbo in order to remain in Nigeria. ....like the ikwerre and delta igbo did after the civil war

What I know for sure is that it would be much easier to convince them if you restrict your bid to your 5 ibo majority states.

Exactly what I was thinking today. Biafrans just choose to blind themselves to the simple truth that the minority tribes will never be willing to form a country where they can be easily oppressed by the igbo majority.

I was asking an IPOB member earlier on today in Port Harcourt if he really expects an Ikwerre man who is living off the rent he gets from an "abandoned property" to willingly enter a country in which the owners of the said property are the majority.

Can't we use our common sense and deduce that the money was diverted for his health bills.

How dumb do you get really? So the President of Nigeria needs a ransom before he can pay for his hospital bills? smiley
There's nothing worse than poverty of the mind. So you aren't aware that simply because he was a former head of state all his bills (including his children's expensive education) were already being paid for by Nigeria.

The quoted description is not in the Qur'an.

Rather it is a quote from the book of Imaam As-Suyuti (may Allaah have mercy on him). The title of the book is I'tiqad fee Uloom Qur'an, which translates as Encyclopedia of Qur'anic Sciences.

Besides, Virgins aren't the only perks of Jannah. In Paradise, you have rivers of wine, milk and honey. The wine doesn't intoxicates neither do the food cause stomach upset. Its mansions are of golden walls and silk would be the cloth of it inhabitants. Its fruits are close to the reach, that you merely just stretch your hands.

I wonder why everyone focuses on the virgins. Yes, we want virgins (which sane person doesn't); but don't make it sound like that's what Islaam is all about.

You can 'SYH' all you like, the reward for the inhabitants of Paradise is for those who worship Allaah, do good deeds and die upon goodness.

Killing people and causing terror would not get you near any of the above mentioned.

What do women who do good deeds get?

I rarely listen to that radio station but going from what I have heard on it, I highly doubt that he said that all of his followers should "kill all Yorubas", or something to that affect. That doesn't even make any sense to me . IPOB don't even protest en masse in places outside of Igboland yet you still believe that he instructed his followers to go about slaughtering people outside of their enclave. Why would he tell all Igbos living in the diaspora to come back home whilst simultaneously telling them to kill their hosts in the South-West? Does that make any sense to you?

You say that the DSS has a lot of recordings so why haven't they been able to prosecute him yet? Why would they need to conduct a secret trial with secret witnesses if they had hard evidence of the man inciting genocide? I have to ask you again: does that make any sense to you?
Also, if the DSS could get recordings- notice the plural form you used- of the man inciting genocide then why couldn't you or someone else in the audience have done so in order to show it to the rest of us? Don't tell me that it's only pro-Biafrans that listen to that radio station? You yourself have just proven otherwise...

Why and how would we have recordings of a radio broadcast? I am not speaking from hearsay. I personally heard the broadcasts. He was not inciting them to kill yoruba in Lagos. He was inciting them to kill yoruba and hausa in igboland.

And it was taking effect. I said it here before on Naira land. My driver who was always on radio biafra had already earmarked the hausa men on his street he was going to attack first once director gave the order.

On the matter of secret trials, given the almost worshipful adoration given to him by the majority of igbo, can you really vouch for the safety of anyone (especially if the person is igbo) who openly testifies against him?
Family / Re: Thread For Those In Inter-tribal Relationship And Marriage by honeychild(f): 10:54am On Jan 01, 2017
@OP, believe me it's really challenging getting married to someone from another tribe. The main thing you have to do is look at your in laws. Are they tribalistic? How do they sound when they talk about people from other tribes? Especially your MIL. In most families, the moral character of the family is set by the mother. If she is horrible, you can almost be certain that your sisters in law will be worse lol.

Then you need to objectively look at your partner. If he is the type that can stand up to his folks when the shit hits the fan. Or is he the type that likes to sweep stuff under the carpet and never confronts issues?

Basically it boils down to individual families. I have had horrible experiences with my inlaws from another tribe. But i have friends who are in inter tribal marriages and didnt go through the same.

On your own part, You also have to be willing to adapt to a totally different culture. If you are yoruba planning to marry an igbo person, just forget about all that formal respect we have. Then be ready to have a lot of relatives flocking in and out of your home and acting like they own the place. Basically don't approach it with the mindset that there's a right way to do things and a wrong way (culture wise). Just accept that things can be done differently to what you are used to and still be alright.

Basically flexibility on your part is very important.

OP I grew up in the North. Not a village like Chibok o, a town in Kaduna state, which is way more civilised than Borno. There's nothing surprising about this. Apart from the few that attended private schools, most Northerners who attend the L.E.A schools (Govt schools) cannot understand or speak English.

Any corper who has served in the North can attest to this.
