Still no single knock for the killers... Not even a single word of condemnation. So agitating for Biafra now carries a death sentence?

I spit on all Zoo people

We are discussing your supreme leader and his cowardice and stupidity. Of course the soldiers are wrong. But sending out children who put their implicit trust in you to face bullets when you made no provision for them is also extremely wrong. Especially when you make provision for yourself and loved ones to escape.

So you would rather blame the innocent youths murdered in cold blood by the Awusa-Fulani jihadist army than point even one single accusing finger at the murderers? Where has your humanity gone to? Self-Determination isn't war and shouldn't attract so much hate. Unity can never be by force. I spit on oil unity.

You also have to understand that anybody who supports Biafra does so out of their personal convinctions. I for one has been in the struggle years before the emergence of Nnamdi Kanu. Besides, the truth remains that almost every Igbo man supports and craves for the actualisation of Biafra. Nigeria has never worked, isn't working and will never work. That's the bitter truth and you better face up to it.

Nope I don't blame the misguided youths. I blame the 50 year old man who whipped them up with empty rhetoric and lies (fake promises) and sent them out empty handed to face bullets, all the while knowing fully well that they were going to die. I would forgive a hot headed young man in his 20s or 30s. But for a fifty year old who should know better, what he did to these young men is simply unconscionable.

So you're one of those that wished that an unarmed Nnamdi Kanu would sit back and allow cowardly+bitter Awusa-Fulani soldiers to come and spray bullets on him? That's the only way he can become your hero? Mbanu! The young man is still alive and vibrating from Israel. Today the whole world is talking about the Sudanese impostor courtesy of Nnamdi Kanu.

We will not stop until Biafra is fully restored. This Buhari/Jubrin issue might be the final trigger. By the way, I'll still hold on to my promise to make you a woman leader in Biafra. It is an opportunity of a lifetime

Hope you have fully Atikulated... Buhari/Jubrin MUST be sent packing to either Daura or Sudan.

1. Nnamdi Kanu is not a young man. He is 50 years old! That is middle aged. If he had married responsibly in his late 20s he should have given his first daughter out in marriage by now. grin

2. When he knew he was unarmed why did he keep inciting people's children to go out to face soldiers when he wasn't ready to do the same? What does Biafra or death mean? Oh it means the death of his followers while he and his family escape? He forgot to carry his dog Jack along while escaping and one year later is still mourning its death. But foolish young men who believed his grandiose talk and faced bullets with their bare chests are left unnamed and unmourned.

Do you even know the stupid promises he made that emboldened those unfortunate young men to go out and brave bullets? He told them:
1. Any one who dies in the course of the struggle, his family will never suffer again. His aged parents will be cared for. His children will be sent to international schools. These foolish young men heard that and believed they had found a cause to die for. Now they have died. When their leader does not even know their names how can he care for the dependants they left behind? Nonsense

By the way, Nnamdi Kanu is always right. Jubrin must be sent back to his native Sudan

Obiano has won a second term and he is ready to burn the bridge that got him there.

Same reason why I pity those clamouring for Buhari despite his disdain for everything democracy during this first term.

If Nigeria burns, the crisis will not single out the wise people that voted against him, but everybody would bear the brunt of it.

Buhari has shown that he cared less about the unity of the country. A divisive president will bury this country.

Me I knew that he struck a deal with APC during the Anambra election last year. They allowed him to retain his seat in return for delivering his state in 2019. That is why APC came second in the elections.

I have a strong feeling many of the southern governors up for reelection in 2019 will work for APC e.g rivers, delta etc. APC may not out rightly win but the margins will be close. This is Nigeria!

aribisalao, you keep brandishing this thread from 7 years ago as a justification of Buhari’s misrule. Do we on account of igbo hate tear yorubaland apart?

Igbos have been hateful since 1970 and there is nothing we can do about it. But we can do something about the attempts of jihadists to divide Yorubas along religious lines. Think about that, and enjoy your thread.

Oga I hope you know that it is you and your Igbo friends who are actually attempting to divide Yoruba along religious lines.

You are everywhere screaming about the Muslims amongst Yoruba's and how they make you afraid. The other time you said anytime you see a lady in hijab you are terrified. All because of politics.

May God forgive you for this hatred you are trying to sow amongst brothers. I don't know what you want Yorubas to do about their Muslim brothers. Kill them or banish them from Yorubaland? I

I think the Fulani feel towards their cows exactly the same way any one will feel towards their means of livelihood. Threaten any man's livelihood and he will be out for your blood.

Here in the South have entire communities not been decimated over land disputes?

Its just a matter of your frame of reference. To the nomad, it looks just as silly fighting over land (that should belong to nobody) as it looks silly to us that a nomad is ready to spill blood over cattle.

Whenever I come across divisive topic like this, I aways feel pain in my chest. If only people can live and let live and work to forge a peaceful and progressive future for all. I believe I can speak for post-civil-war yoruba generation. That generation were not taught all these internecine hate-filled narrative. All I can remember was that Igbos were decimated and should be encouraged in all facets ( I can remember a man then that had almost 12 children, while people were castigating Yoruba family with more than five children, they supported and justified the man decision). Other tribes were just neighbours with different tongues. This was my belief until at university in 90's when some Igbo friends poured out bile continously in my prescence. The irony of it is that their parents were living in Ibadan and they, their family and properties were never threatened during or after the war according to them. Till today, I will not teach my children hatred, but, I know, some Yorubas are not taken it. lightly.

So true. Growing up I never heard even one negative thing said about igbos by my parents or any of their generation. We were taught to sympathise with them, encourage them and admire them for what they went through in the civil war.

Its so sad to realise that the parents on the other side were busy breeding hatred and training their children to despise the Yoruba's.

And forget those that say it's just online. It's not. They just keep it well hidden.

Politics / Re: Inside Nigerias Foreign Reserves. by honeychild(f): 5:32pm On May 30, 2018
@RZArecta2 from what I understand from your post, the foreign reserves we have now are not cash money available for the government to spend, because the government has already collected the Naira equivalent from CBN (correct me please if I am wrong).

But is it still available for the average importer who needs forex?

If so, then I will say it's still a positive development from 2015. I remember in 2015 my business was at a standstill because I couldn't get forex to pay my manufacturer in China, even though of course I had the Naira equivalent.

From what I understood then, the government could not support local forex demand because the foreign reserves were low.

Please do correct me where I am wrong because I actually have a very rudimentary understanding of this.

At this point, it really doesn't matter because the people of Rivers state already invested their money and they must reap the benefits regardless how you or Wike's feelings regarding the project.

That project is a visionary project that doesn't make any sense to you today, but future generations will ask why it wasn't completed.

Only irresponsible leaders abandon projects initiated and started by their predecessor regardless how much is needed to complete the project.

There's no sense in losing 2 million just to save 1 million, it's stupid and rettarded. It's called penny wise, pound foolish.

Btw, the total spent on that project is $318 million, not billions. No need to exaggerate or over dramatize. I know a whole lot about that project.

Oga not everything is about politics. Sometimes one has to say the truth. I am an admirer of Amaechi because he is hands down the best governor Rivers State has had in this Republic. But the monorail was an ill advised project. And to continue it will simply amount to throwing good money after bad. If the rail was supposed to get to presidential junction, and it hasn’t even gotten to Mile 1 park, that’s less than 1/4 of the work done. So it’s more like throwing 5 or 6 million after a bad project in order not to have wasted 2 million. Sometimes one has to know when to cut your losses.

Such projects are not meaningless and this is just a matter of opinion and not factual reality.

Completing the project with with half of what's already spent is better than losing amount already spent. Where is the sense and wisdom in losing hundreds of millions of dollars and a wonderful project just because you are petty, ignorant, irresponsible and trying to save a little bit more money, even if it's going to cost more money, it is still your duty and responsibility to finish it and reap the benefits from what's already spent instead of losing everything end end up with nothing.

Wike is only trying to deny Amaechi credit and legacy for that project at the expense of the people of RIVERS state.

This is the kind of backward rubbish they do in that part of the country.

Let me tell you the truth my brother there was no need for that monorail. The traffic from govt house to GRA is not that heavy. One or two flyovers at strategic junctions or expanding the existing road to an eight lane road would have been wiser. Even now, as it is, the journey from govt house to GRA is at most a 15 to 20 minute journey in traffic- it’s less than 10 minutes if the road is free. Is that what you construct a monorail worth billions of dollars for?

Meehnn....Nigerians, or rather, the bulk of other non Igbos within the contraption called Nigeria, here's the question you all need to answer:

You all hate the Igbos. Even God hates the Igbos. You (and God) just can't stand their pride and arrogance. The Igbos realize this and pleads to be left alone, to forge their own nation and destiny, as they tried to do 50 years ago. But you, and the rest of Nigeria refused.

What do you then want??

You despise them, you can't stand them, yet you want them to coexist with you! What brand of malaria do you and Nigeria have that have defied every medication? cheesy

Draw up a Biafran map of only made up only of Igbo speaking areas (no minorities) and watch how quickly you achieve Biafra!

Everyone knows that the opposition to Biafra is because of your insistence on dragging along with you the oil rich areas of the Delta.

Personally, I feel every region (even the north) can do well without the free oil money from the Delta, but I do not make the decisions.

So oga feeling funky, don't make the mistake of thinking anybody opposes you and your arrogant ill-mannered tribesmen leaving the union. They are not just willing to allow you leave with their meal ticket.
