fx45: We are discussing your supreme leader and his cowardice and stupidity. Of course the soldiers are wrong. But sending out children who put their implicit trust in you to face bullets when you made no provision for them is also extremely wrong. Especially when you make provision for yourself and loved ones to escape. |
Politics / Re: Washington Post Reacts To Buhari Clone Denial by honeychild(f): 3:32pm On Dec 04, 2018 |
fx45: Nope I don't blame the misguided youths. I blame the 50 year old man who whipped them up with empty rhetoric and lies (fake promises) and sent them out empty handed to face bullets, all the while knowing fully well that they were going to die. I would forgive a hot headed young man in his 20s or 30s. But for a fifty year old who should know better, what he did to these young men is simply unconscionable. |
Politics / Re: Washington Post Reacts To Buhari Clone Denial by honeychild(f): 11:36am On Dec 04, 2018 |
fx45: 1. Nnamdi Kanu is not a young man. He is 50 years old! That is middle aged. If he had married responsibly in his late 20s he should have given his first daughter out in marriage by now. 2. When he knew he was unarmed why did he keep inciting people's children to go out to face soldiers when he wasn't ready to do the same? What does Biafra or death mean? Oh it means the death of his followers while he and his family escape? He forgot to carry his dog Jack along while escaping and one year later is still mourning its death. But foolish young men who believed his grandiose talk and faced bullets with their bare chests are left unnamed and unmourned. Do you even know the stupid promises he made that emboldened those unfortunate young men to go out and brave bullets? He told them: 1. Any one who dies in the course of the struggle, his family will never suffer again. His aged parents will be cared for. His children will be sent to international schools. These foolish young men heard that and believed they had found a cause to die for. Now they have died. When their leader does not even know their names how can he care for the dependants they left behind? Nonsense |

Omeokachie: Me I knew that he struck a deal with APC during the Anambra election last year. They allowed him to retain his seat in return for delivering his state in 2019. That is why APC came second in the elections. I have a strong feeling many of the southern governors up for reelection in 2019 will work for APC e.g rivers, delta etc. APC may not out rightly win but the margins will be close. This is Nigeria! 1 Like |

resurgent2019: Oga I hope you know that it is you and your Igbo friends who are actually attempting to divide Yoruba along religious lines. You are everywhere screaming about the Muslims amongst Yoruba's and how they make you afraid. The other time you said anytime you see a lady in hijab you are terrified. All because of politics. May God forgive you for this hatred you are trying to sow amongst brothers. I don't know what you want Yorubas to do about their Muslim brothers. Kill them or banish them from Yorubaland? I 1 Like |

Good day beautiful mothers. Please does anyone know where to buy Huggies or pampers for newborn babies size1 in Port Harcourt ( the one that makes allowance for the umbilical stump)? Everywhere I go I only see the size 2 and above. If its a wholesale shop that will be great too. Thanks. |
Politics / Re: Do Fulanis Really Love That Cows That Much? by honeychild(f): 1:44pm On Jun 26, 2018 |
I think the Fulani feel towards their cows exactly the same way any one will feel towards their means of livelihood. Threaten any man's livelihood and he will be out for your blood. Here in the South have entire communities not been decimated over land disputes? Its just a matter of your frame of reference. To the nomad, it looks just as silly fighting over land (that should belong to nobody) as it looks silly to us that a nomad is ready to spill blood over cattle. |

ib0221: So true. Growing up I never heard even one negative thing said about igbos by my parents or any of their generation. We were taught to sympathise with them, encourage them and admire them for what they went through in the civil war. Its so sad to realise that the parents on the other side were busy breeding hatred and training their children to despise the Yoruba's. And forget those that say it's just online. It's not. They just keep it well hidden. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Inside Nigerias Foreign Reserves. by honeychild(f): 5:32pm On May 30, 2018 |
@RZArecta2 from what I understand from your post, the foreign reserves we have now are not cash money available for the government to spend, because the government has already collected the Naira equivalent from CBN (correct me please if I am wrong). But is it still available for the average importer who needs forex? If so, then I will say it's still a positive development from 2015. I remember in 2015 my business was at a standstill because I couldn't get forex to pay my manufacturer in China, even though of course I had the Naira equivalent. From what I understood then, the government could not support local forex demand because the foreign reserves were low. Please do correct me where I am wrong because I actually have a very rudimentary understanding of this. |

Nofav0rs: If you understand and speak both Hausa and Yoruba and you claim the dialect you just spoke “ “mo fe ra jeun” is closer to “Hausa arewa” than Yoruba, then I repeat you, sir, are a clown. Please feel free to crush me. Anyway each to its own. I live amongst Ikwerre people who speak a language obviously recognized as a dialect of Igbo, but who have adamantly refused to be called Igbo. So no big deal if we have the same amongst yorubas. Enjoy. 4 Likes |

FroshPapie: You haven’t said anything yet o..... yes Buhari is clueless. As you aren’t what possible solutions do you have? You asked whether we can’t prodice cocoa. The average Nigerian that wants results now now, can you wait for cocoa plantations to mature and bear fruit? The rice that the government is investing in, aren’t majority of you complaining that the govt banned the importation of rice? If you don’t stop the competition how will your home grown survive? But you aren’t patient enough or willing to sacrifice enough to wait for anything to bear fruit. You just want everything solved yesterday yet you have no suggestions or solutions. 1 Like 1 Share |

deomelllo: Oga not everything is about politics. Sometimes one has to say the truth. I am an admirer of Amaechi because he is hands down the best governor Rivers State has had in this Republic. But the monorail was an ill advised project. And to continue it will simply amount to throwing good money after bad. If the rail was supposed to get to presidential junction, and it hasn’t even gotten to Mile 1 park, that’s less than 1/4 of the work done. So it’s more like throwing 5 or 6 million after a bad project in order not to have wasted 2 million. Sometimes one has to know when to cut your losses. |
Politics / Re: Protest In Rivers State Over Black Soot Pollution (PHOTOS) by honeychild(f): 8:51pm On Apr 19, 2018 |
deomelllo: Let me tell you the truth my brother there was no need for that monorail. The traffic from govt house to GRA is not that heavy. One or two flyovers at strategic junctions or expanding the existing road to an eight lane road would have been wiser. Even now, as it is, the journey from govt house to GRA is at most a 15 to 20 minute journey in traffic- it’s less than 10 minutes if the road is free. Is that what you construct a monorail worth billions of dollars for? |

whirlwind7: Draw up a Biafran map of only made up only of Igbo speaking areas (no minorities) and watch how quickly you achieve Biafra! Everyone knows that the opposition to Biafra is because of your insistence on dragging along with you the oil rich areas of the Delta. Personally, I feel every region (even the north) can do well without the free oil money from the Delta, but I do not make the decisions. So oga feeling funky, don't make the mistake of thinking anybody opposes you and your arrogant ill-mannered tribesmen leaving the union. They are not just willing to allow you leave with their meal ticket. 2 Likes |
