Truly, the call I received this morning is not favourable. Hmmmmmm this people may not release the list this month again. I was told , politics has entered the recruitment.

Was it the Minister of interior that called you or the CG of immigrations service,please??

It may not be far from the truth... Let's just be optimistic.

Greetings to my fellow able and capable officers in waiting of the NSCDC. As we all know that a new acting CG has been appointed to act in the capacity of a CG pending confirmation or appointment of a new CG from the President through the Hon. Minister of Interior, let's be informed that nothing different or new has been initiated into the ongoing recruitments excercise and with informations on ground now, the lists have been submitted to FCC for approval after which the National Assembly Committee on Interior would deliberate and negotiate on the lists and approve then give a go ahead before names are released. When the names would be out is something i can't specifically state but between now and February is realistic according to my source. Let's just be hopeful and prayerful as well.

I don't understand why people who know nothing,come and type non existence information in a public fora like this...
FCL,its not a must we type so as not to misguide the general public.

A senior immigration officer yesterday told me that, The exam will not be cancelled, but supplimentry (Handwritten) exam maybe conducted to accommodate those that didn't take the CBAT exam.
That the total turnout that participated in CBAT exam was less than 40% of shortlisted candidates . Moreover those that took the CBAT has more advantage because the supplimentry handwritten test maybe to fulfill all righteousness due to logistics/issues involved in marking, collation/sorting of script and grading of scores.

Its not even possible for the board to conduct any test again(written or CBT)
The issue will rather be resolved with Nass or the board goes ahead with it plan regardless of NASS take..

I just think fayose should just give Seyi Makinde the opportunity of being in charge,the he supports and guide as an ex governor (2 term at that.)..

My personal opinion: No list will be released till further notice. The reason is because the tension is high now and any unmerited moves by bad officials that intends smuggling names can be checked immediately. They will release the results when people don forget about the whole exercise. If you quote me wrongly I will report you to the comptroller general!

If the board eventually release the final list today,believe me noting will happen because the board has considered the interest of all that matters in this recruitment.. Be assured.

Don't be surprised if the board doesn't shortlist people even this week... Lots of things are happening at the moment,I can confirm..

Unlike in the Military where any minor and manageable health issue automatically gets you disqualified, Paramilitary Agencies will still give a chance and during your Training, such health conditions are taken care of.

Although, every single trainee is expected to fully participate in all activities of the Camp but those with health conditions will be exempted from some rigorous activities to avoid CASUALTY. No Commandant will pray to watch his/her recruits die. So, those with such health conditions will surely present evidence or get tested by the College Health Center for confirmation. Some lazy able-bodied folks will want to hide under such privilege to evade activities, you know.

Female trainees are enjoined to close up for the entire Training Period to avoid pregnancy, periodic pregnancy test will be conducted as directed by the Commandant. Even with that, secret bleepings still happen at wee hours among trainees at secluded places based on arrangement ��

Breastfeeding Mothers whose children are still tolders are NOT expected to come for Training in the first place. However, if you can drop your child at home for six months, you ll just be collecting official pass once in a while to go home. The best option is to just forfeit the call for Training, that doesn't affect your job. Anytime other batch or other set is recruited, you ll join them for Training.

If there is a need for a trainee to leave the camp, he would have go through appropriate quarters and get official exact.

Use of handset is allowed but restrictions could be place on it expecially during Lecture Hours, Parades, Waepon Handling Drill etc to avoid distractions.

You've done very well and also answered lot of still to ask questions.
