Politics / As Nigerians Celebrate Christmas, Fayemi Urges Unity, Peace And Generosity by hooderuja(m): 3:38pm On Dec 24, 2023
Press Statement

1. In the spirit of Christmas, pray for Nigeria and extend kindness to others ā€“ Fayemi

2. As Nigerians Celebrate Christmas, Fayemi urges unity, peace and generosity

As Nigerians celebrate Christmas, Dr Kayode Fayemi, former Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF), extends heartfelt wishes of peace, goodwill, and prosperity to all.

In a message by the head of the Fayemi Media Office, Mallam Ahmad Sajoh, Fayemi acknowledges Nigeriansā€™ resilience in the face of challenges throughout the year and urged that in the spirit of Christmas, we should all come together in celebration, irrespective of religious or cultural differences, fostering a sense of togetherness and unity.

Fayemi said: ā€œThis festive season signifies a time for reflection, gratitude, and rekindling the flames of hope and unity that underpin our nation. It is a time to celebrate the values of love, compassion, and generosity which was illustrated by the birth of Jesus Christ.

ā€˜ā€™Despite our challenges, Christmas reminds us of the enduring power of faith, forgiveness, and resilience. Let us embrace this spirit and use it to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, foster peaceful coexistence, and rekindle the flames of national unity.

ā€˜ā€™I urge all Nigerians, irrespective of their differences, to use this special season to extend kindness and understanding to one another. Let us celebrate the joy of family and friends, share our blessings with those in need, and offer prayers for peace and prosperity for our nation.

ā€˜ā€™May the light of Christmas illuminate our hearts and homes, guiding us towards a brighter and more prosperous New Year. May the joy of this season fill our lives with happiness, hope, and renewed strength.ā€™ā€™

Travel / USA B1/B2 Visa: Are Nigerians Currently Blacklisted? (photo) by hooderuja(m): 4:50pm On Mar 24, 2021
No Nigerians are not currently blacklisted.

The embassy is not relaxed due to the demand for visas, Hence they receive so many applicants every day. US visa officers pay less attention to submitted documents, or they donā€™t even look at them. It is expensive and time demanding to verify documents. Therefore, they use your body language and circumstances to quickly make a decision and hand over the blue paper to you.

Western European foreign missions most especially Germany always verify documents and based their denial on submitted documents. American Embassy is you and your confidence.

It is sad that wrong people get visa approval and people with good intentions get visa denial. That is one of the reasons why we pray to God for a favor. One thing again is your reason for the visit?

They also have statistics of those that were given visas in the past, if they returned and if they didnā€™t. On what purpose were they given visas?? All these pieces of information could be used to be biased about future applicants.

In General, Visiting visa is the most difficult visa to get because you need to demonstrate to the VO that you gonna return home. This is a difficult task and Nigerian government ainā€™t helping because all foreign mission thinks all Nigerians wanna run away. That's the struggle of living in a third-world country Bro, Sad.

It is sometimes annoying when you need stock photos for your designs and then they come with watermarks. I have seen many beautiful stock photos that I'd wish to use for my designs but the "shutters stock" or "Getty images" watermarks piss me off. Here is a solution to download stock photos for free without watermarks.

Career / 10 ā€œSIMPLEā€ Things That Can Add More Value To You In This 2021 by hooderuja(m): 1:05pm On Mar 02, 2021
This year suppose make more sense abi, here are

10 "SIMPLE" THINGS THAT CAN ADD MORE VALUE TO YOU IN THIS 2021

*Number 10 is a very vital one

1. Learning how to drive a car
You don't need to have your own car to do this, any good driving school can do. They are not really expensive and it is also a very good investment in your abilities.

2. Get an International Passport
Before the price goes even higher in other states(prices have already gone up in Abuja because of the introduction of the new type). Whether or not you want to travel out this year, it can also be an important asset to you for mindset growth purposes. Prepare for International.

3. Get your transcripts
If you plan to further your studies anytime, go apply and obtain your school transcript before you even need it. It will save you a great deal future frustrations.

4. Invest in Soft Skills
Take courses that help you build and practice soft skills like effective communication, public speaking, team building, networking skills, First Aid, peace building, mediation, stress management, etc

5. If you still don't know how to use a computer well, don't let this year pass by. Make this a must this year. You will be way better for it.

6. Start a Business or Social Venture
Even if is to build around selling Okpa or setvicee to help Children and the elderly cross busy roads for a token or "thank you", urban town crier services, sell cockroach poison, anything that helps people , just start something. Build something with your name on it.

7. Register Your Business
Officially register that side hustle or busines you have started. Open a corporate bank account and get busy learning and growing it more.

8. Enrol for that Certificate or Degree OR go and complete that course you started.

Whether it is part time or night school or online school. College of Education, Polytechnic, Monotechnic, University, push to achieve that academic dream or desire of yours. Complete the one you paused or staft that new one, you will be happier for it.

9. Volunteer
Find where you can contribute your time or skills or even resources for free. You will learn more, connect with better people and would have helped others.

10. Open a Domiciliary account for yourself and if you have a business, you can add that to one of your business account. It is not as difficult as you think, ask your bank for more info on this.

Ask you bank for the limits and features it comes with you can start your own foreign reserve or saving with very little amount.

And Beside a Dom account,

Also check the limits you placed on your savings or current account's either receivership or daily transactions, review them to what you desire. But check to know the state, let them not just be running on default.

Know who your current or new account manager is and get his/her contact number. These will be helpful to you this year.

If you read to this point, you will know it is beyond youth or graduate thing, whoever can apply and share these.

Alright, that's it for now,
Consider the ones that make sense to you,
Add any other that may have been left out.

kindly drop your comments,

Have a wonderful time.

HTML is the simplest programming language you can learn within a short period of time.
(my opinion )

Language of the web, you can easily manipulate the web if you're deep in HTML. (not easy though, you have to work)

But you know what?
HTML is married, he has a wife ļæ½

CSS

CSS is another language you will enjoy learning alongside HTML

Javascript
Javascript means using a hammer ļæ½ to kill an ant ļæ½

Javascript is another sweet programming language. It is called simple but not easy.

Feel free to add yours.
