Mikki is one major reason Lukaku has been isolated in our last few matches. In this new found defensive set up his major function in the line up is to serve as the bridge between the rest of the team and Lukaku and in that respect he has been a failure so far. JM has to try Lingard and Mata in the starting line up and see how that pans out.

The funny thing is I don't understand how Mkhi is getting so much game time despite his underwhelming performances of late.
Even the stats he used to pad are no longer there.

I would prefer Mata in the hole. I think he's still being underutilized being deployed out wide. I can't really say I trust Lingard because he is too erratic and lacks a great deal of composure to play that role.
