That particular type of bus sounds like a proper example of a 'rickety bus' to me

That bus is not BRT, it is one of the rickety red buses plying Ikorodu road. BRT buses are blue all through Lagos.

That road when completed should divert traffic from the main Lagos Badagry express way. It should serve as short cut for people going to Ikoga axis.
Mowo - Ikoga road needs attention as well.

You're right though, if done properly and the overflowing water channelled away from the concrete slab, I know they last long and all you need to do is regular maintenance of the structure.

Seriously I have been having serious pains and depressed about myself and many around me for many years now.
1. There are over 800,000 houses in the community I lived. To the extent when you look at the buildings from a hill or top building, you will wonder if it's people that built all the houses.
2. Most of the people that build this houses are not better than me in look, posture, intelligence, hard work and several ways.
Infact I am far educated than all the people around me who owns a building or two.

My question is, was there any time money just came from the air or when you dig the ground and pull out money to build houses and buy cars?
I have been working hard for as long as I can't even tell but even a car I don't have. It was just of recent I was able to start small business immediately I lost my job and I can't even run the business well due to funds.
Funny thing I don't even spend much to have say I am over spending at home.
Family of 5 spending 30k weekly on everything you want to ever think of including Gas, Data and NEPA. So 30k a week.

Thank God I belong to a Church that really cares about the welfare of members. Anything happens to one person, almost everyone flocks around them. Pastor keeps announcing that no one is permitted to sleep hungry. They helped with my father's medical bills even though I didn't ask and could have handled it myself. Whenever one member is hospitalized, there will be a stampede at that hospital till our person is discharged! Widows and orphans are given priority care. Missionaries (including those who are not Church members) are supported. Students are supported while in school, etc 😎✌️

Morale of the story, plug yourself in a caring Bible believing Church. And when you're there, be committed to serving God and others. Don't be a parasite taking the kindness of others for granted.
