So-called "Edos" aren't monolithic. You have Bini, Esan, Okpameri, Yoruba in Edo State. The Bini monarchy has Yoruba roots (I know Bini revisionists will cry at this), but the Bini people themselves aren't Yoruba, even though some of them like the Usen people are of Yoruba descent.
