oluwaseyi0: that's a real country that knows what's best at every point in time then make necessary adjustment, when the need lesser population then implement it when they need more they go for it
But Nigeria no thanks to North can't implement what's best simply because of religion
Nigeria and France has same population in 1960 now we are more than x4 of France
Please go through this https://www.nairaland.com/7819944/watch-almajiri-children-scramble-remnants
A time will come when northerner kids will be eating each other due to overpopulation vs little resource Nigeria is Not overpopulated. What you have to look is the population density per Km2
Just look at the 2 following statistics The population density in the Netherlands is 522 people per Km2 The population density in Nigeria is 246 people per Km2 This means that the Netherland have more people per Km2 than Nigeria, but you will never heard that the Netherland is overpopulated. In the contrary the Netherland is complaining that they do not make enough childrenThey use the word overpopulation only when it is a black country and they will flood the medias with articles to subliminally influence you to adopt policies to reduce your black population, because it is their goal, to reduce the black race to the minimum |

oluwaseyi0: China banned people from having more than one child, why do you think they did that? The end of China's one-child policy formally ended in 2016, because they now have too many old people and not enough youngs to work in the agricultural sector to produce food. More young people also mean more youngs that can provide more food with agriculture |

OyinO: France has some 1,500 troops stationed in Niger to aid in fighting jihadist groups that have plagued the country along with the wider Sahel region for years.
The same jihadist groups they sponsor? Why haven't the jihadist groups neutralised or eliminated up till now? So what's the benefit or usefulness of France's 1,500 troops stationed in Niger? Yeye It is the same for the American drone airbase near Agadez in Niger. Drones are quipped with cameras and sensors that are able to capture high-quality images and data from the air; They can see an ant crawling in the sand, and yet these same drones are unable to detect the presence of jihadists on the ground. Obviously, something just doesn't add up. Both french and american military bases should get out of Niger |

SuccessfulRichi: I think this is the right time for Nigeria government to step and take the bold step like China did and it helped the economy. Population in Nigeria is growing doubling every year while we don't even produce anything. Tell me how our GDP per Capita will grow?? A country that still suffering from high level of illiteracy and ignorance. Omo population go suplus The end of China's one-child policy formally ended in 2016, Why?, because china have now the reverse problem; they have now too many old people and not enough young people. So they had to stop the one-child policy Some countries have a very small population but high level of illiteracy and ignorance On the other hand, some countries have a very large population and low level of illiteracy and ignorance |

Kobojunkie: 1. Nigerian population increased over 70 million over the last 20 years. Did that translate to more people overall working in the agricultural sector? Sadly, no. So why would you, at this point in time, believe that adding more mouths to feed to the already devastated system would cause that to happen? Wetin una dey smoke abeg!
2. Nigeria is already one of the largest populations in the world... the largest black nation... yet it has no real plan for food sufficiency. So why do you offer this an argument against curbing population at this point?
3. Create more wealth and more food out of thin air? Exactly the lazy way of thinking1 - How do you explain that some countries have a very large population but have food self-sufficiency and rely 100% on domestic food production? 2 - On the other hand, how do you explain that some countries have a very small population but cannot feed themselves? Just realise that some leaders apply the right policies and some the wrong policies Lazy and corrupt leaders who refuse to apply the right policies for the population should be executed by firing squad |

ideamonster: If we don't bring measures up, the country will just keep getting harder. Theres increasing population and decreasing food production and productivity. We need to urgently limit the number of mouths to be fed. People should be able to see "the other side of the coin"; increasing population also mean that more farmers are born and more people can work in the agricultural sector, and the result is more food productionA country can have a very small population but cannot feed itself On the other hand, a country can have a very large population but can have food self-sufficiency and can rely 100% on domestic food production to meet its food needs. Only lazy and narrow minded leaders will think about limiting the number of births in the population instead of finding solutions to create more wealth and more food for every citizens. This type of leaders should receive Capital Punishment |

It’s just a matter of time!
India should dump the dollar as their reserve currency and I will take them serious. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 If the US dollar were to lose its reserve status, it would likely lead to a significant decline in demand for the currency. As central banks diversify their reserves, the dollar could face downward pressure, resulting in a depreciation of its value |

ChimaAdeoye: Nigeria has been a great tool for Western countries to undermine Africa and the developing world. Nigeria almost singlehandedly sabotaged the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement. It took many African countries rallying to counter Nigeria's plot to kill the continental agreement due to EU pressure to kill AFCTA.
Nigeria today is well known as a Western MOLE among many decent countries in the global south. Nigeria has been specifically targeted by Western countries to do their dirty jobs in Africa. Unfortunately, due to the shady characters assisted by the Western countries to rule Nigeria, we just can't do anything about being used by Western countries for dirty jobs against African progress.
BRICS made the right decision to exclude Nigeria. It would have been a veritable tool for the Western countries to kill BRICS. Facts, Ethiopia just applied to join BRICS few months ago but they're admitted but Nigeria applied years back but not admitted because the BRICS know that Nigeria cannot be trusted. |

Watcharena: you're right in every ramifications. NIgeria is not capable of making independent decision without western influence.
I can remember some years back NIgeria wanted currency swap With china as our biggest trade partner, all arrangements were made everything was finalized, but at the end I don't know how NIgeria pulled out of that deal because of western influence. Facts, and people should ask themselves why the U.S. government is building the largest US Consulate in the world in Nigeria at Eko Atlantic City, in Lagos. This is no coincidence. Often US consulates are also used as ‘spy center’ |

panafrican: This is Nonnegotiable . Nigeria is a 100 % Black African owned country, not like those who take pride in their white supremacist owned past. Not only that Nigeria is Africa's largest country in terms of populations. It offers more investment opportunities than any other country thanks to its vital population, its coastlines, its rainforest and its fertile lands. If Nigeria is not admitted as a member state, we Pan- Africanists will fight BRICS, it is as simple as that. No, Nigeria cannot be admitted because all countries who are puppets of the West are not allowed to join the BRICS |
