Admin please bring this post to light. I have an albino girlfriend, we have been dating for a while now but the fact remains that the stigmatization is too much. People discriminate against her so much.

Every time I'm walking with her people looks at us as if we came from another planets. All my close relations and friends I told about her discouraged me from getting married to her. Everybody is against me, they told me how can I introduce albinism to my lineage.

I understand that she has a very poor visual acuity, she is prone to skin cancer, she will depend on me to get some certain task done especially under sun.

She is a very good girl, what I'm looking at is what is inside her I mean her personality even though she is obese, she gives me peace of mind.

Finally she is also a petrochemical engineer, and very brilliant person though her albinism has been disadvantageous to her from getting a better job. I just proposed to her against all odds even though I'm all alone.

Should I go on to marry her? Please I need advice from people with mature minds.

be sincere with urself. u're not in love with her. it's ur too much closeness with her DTS making it look like u love her. Give her a small gap. make friend with another person, free ur mind and see if ur mind still want her. I'm not saying u should not marry her, but give her some space and see if u still love her. marriage is not about now, it's about then (future). as a father can u allow ur son to bring albino to u as a wife in d future? cn u Cope if ur first two children are albino? as old as d woman is,u said shes bwwn stignatized,even by ur family members ,imagine ur innocent children? pls give her some space to clear ur head.

Hello, I had to create this new account specifically for this and had to post in this section because I can't do so in job/vacancy section yet.

Straight to the point, I resigned my job in a government tertiary institution up north due to security challenges less than a month ago,. Now I have come down to a similar institution in a state in the southern part of Nigeria but finding it hard to cope here due to human relationship factors.. I wish to go back to the north and manage the security situations there than to be suffering human factors here.

The said institution is a federal government hospital

Now I learnt one can cancel resignation within 3 months of tendering it, my questions are now :
(1)is it true according to the civil service rule?
(2) what are the processes involved

I need candid answer to this.. You can add insults if you so wish.. I will be replying to further questions

If d salary south here is nice enough and the job is secured, I'd rather u stay south here and try to Cope gradually. IRS better than risking ur life up north. by d way I quite understood how u're feeling about d human factor stuff, give it time, it will fade away within three months. it's normal for u to feel apprehensive as u just changed environment.

The statement reads, “We find it disheartening that some online media practitioners have adamantly chosen to practice journalism without adherence to simple principle of investigation which allows fair hearing.”

“You will notice that some women and ladies have been defrauded by some people claiming to be Ooni, promising their victims marriage.”

“On the part of the DSS, they began their investigation without any order from Ooni of Ife’s palace and somebody was arrested in Ijebu Ode. In the course of their investigation, they discovered that the arrested suspect, Lawal Moshood had opened Facebook accounts in the name of the Ooni. There was even a recent case of a woman who sold her properties in the United States of America based on an online scammer, who impersonated the Ooni, promising to marry the woman.”

“The Ooni of Ife does not have the constitutional power to order the arrest of anybody. The case of Moshood Lawal is between him and the DSS that arrested him. The security agency acted on a tip off and trailed him to Ijebu Ode, where he was arrested. What the DSS is doing about his case, we don’t know. It is just pitiable and laughable that some journalists, who should by their expected level of education know the limits of power of any traditional ruler in the internal security management of Nigeria would now be spreading falsehood that Ooni ordered arrest of a tricycle rider.”

“Where does the Ooni get the power to order the arrest of anybody? . The only thing Ooni can do is to make official report to the security agents who are constitutionally empowered to initiate investigations where the need arises.”

“The report by Saharareporters is a vivid example of jungle journalism, with the ultimate agenda to blackmail and mislead the public.
