Negotiations byTripartite Committee on a new National Minimum Wage have run into a stalemate, following the Federal Government’s stance that it cannot afford more than N25,000 per month.

But Labour and Organised Private Sector, OPS, have agreed on a N30,000 minimum wage per month.

This is even as President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ayuba Wabba, told newsmen in Abuja, yesterday, that the Tripartite Committee had completed its assignment for onward submission to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Yesterday, I interrogated a 200L student of a Federal University of Technology who was caught impersonating another student in an examination. During the process, the 24yrs old couldn't identify himself through writing. It was seriously appalling that he misspelled student as 'school dat' twice, he can't make a sentence and could barely write his name but couldn't get the write spelling of his hostel, yet he is writing exam for another junior student whom has invested a lot
